Well, the problem seems to be at a lower level of the system than what is covered by the Papyrus log, so there's not a systematic way. Try changing anything that you imagine might be involved, and if you see anything surprising, tell me.

Those are both done using the game decal functionality, not via overlays.

There was a post a while back about using blender and the UV unwrap (?) function to get images to apply across seams and without distortion.

 

I want to dig that one out myself when I get a bit more time. (Right now I'm being eaten alive by dialogue trees...)

You must be psychic.  Was just going to post if anyone knew how to do that.  Lots of searches got me to things on how to make things from scratch, but as with lots of other Skyrim idiot self hacking, I thought with the mesh and textures already there, there had to be an easier way to do it without learing the whole thing .

 

I'll ditto would be a great addition for the front page.  For anyone wanting to deal with distortions and/or wanting to make a tat that crosses a texture seam.

hello i need a little help.

 

this is my load order in the spoiler. yea i know its as big as argentina.. but the game miraculously works.. and slave tats always worked with out any problems. It simply stopped working when i added in a couple of new tattoos. when i apply tats it says slavetats is working. and slave tats is done. then no tats appear. in racemenu mod under the face paint tab the tat appears and the texture is set to invisible default... i dont know what is going on. I have updated skse racemenu i have installed netimense override i have the latest version of jcontainers, and the latest version of skyui.. please help me

Does this prevent bluring/deformation though? Looks like it's just for makins tats across the seams

Honestly? No idea. The Blender docs talk about the UV editor having support for editing and shearing textures, so I have high hopes.

 

But really, your guess is as good as mine. Better probably, considering how little I've used Blender.

Anyway I wanted to install all the tats.  SO I combined all the ones that were textures only into a big data folder and zipped it and installed it.  They do not show up in the choices.  What do I need to do to get slavetats to find my combined group of tats?

 

The reason I did this and it may be incorrect is I have according to NMM 240 mods active.  LooT says 190 plugins.  I am not sure which is used for the 254 limit.

 

any advice would be appreciated.

Did you download the Chinese language tattoo pack? It overwrites a lot of the english tattoos and prevents them from showing up properly in SlaveTats.

i am use sl hormones bimbo tatts and i put on the face one, and my char face became all green and blocky

so um how do i fix this??
