Btw he is not only one who see it as avarage PC gamer Rock paper shutgun and some other PC gamers all say its AVARAGE and i believe true PC gamers. It prolly is awesome for the console crowed they prolly love it but this a INSULT to PC gamers in general and specially with what we have with Elder Scroll on PC and mods plus freedom. 60 bucks and 15 a month not in amillion years(i would not even play it for free).

This is my personal honest opinion about this game, Feel free to continue reading if you wish. I have been playing MMO's since Ultima Online. In that time I have played Ultima Online, Silk Road, Runes of Magic, Aion, World of Warcraft right up to late Cataclysm. Star Wars the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, EVE Online, Final Fantasy 11, and a little bit of Star Trek Online. In all my experiences both past and present I have seen a lot of crap in my day. I knew that people were going to crap all over this game which is why I did not watch any reviews or first impressions. I did watch a few of them the other day after I thought the heat died down a little and it was no surprise. The gaming community of this generation in my eyes has been handed everything over to them. Allow me to explain. 1. Welfare Epics is the first and best example I can give. People gripe, whine, complain, and flat out rage whenever something seems far too challenging, WoW was the first one to implement this but at the same time they shot themselves in the foot. By giving away free epic gear/content experienced/hardcore/professional gamer's were alienated due to this fact that people were given things pretty much for free. Just had to commit a little bit of time. Nothing more. I play ESO and the crafting is a little bit more time consuming yes. I don't mind. When you actually craft something you feel more rewarded for finishing it rather than it plop down in front of you. You grow more appreciation for the game this way. I say QQ to those whiners. 2. Gold Spamming no one can complain about this. Every and I do mean EVERY MMO has gold spammers and bots. It's the bottom of the shit barrel in MMO's along with the beggars and whiners. So complaining about this is pointless. Just ignore them and move on. 3. Character customization for ESO is just like Skyrim. You play what you want. There are no lock downs. No classes. Just you, the community and the world. PvP is fun and rewarding, crafting although it takes time is worth it which I already explained earlier and for the most part people are friendly. At least they were to me. However trolls and ragers once again are a part of every MMO. 4. The game is only as good as you make it. If you complain and find flaws about everything of course you are not going to like it. I know this game has flaws. There are tons of bugs, glitches, maintenance and get this, ESO actually cares about the economy in this game. I seen mass bans of gold spammers and dual-boxers and people got reimbursed gold due to lost items and gold glitches. They actually listen to your tickets and it does not take 4 days to respond. Graphics are O.k. but graphics don't make a game. I'd hate to see the people of today go back to my time and play a NES or Atari 2600. Lets see how long it takes them to be bored to death. I could go on and on but I will keep this somewhat brief. By now I think you readers get the idea. People have to realize that something new is not going to be perfect. Every time something new does come out people always jump on the negative train first and stay there. Not accommodating anything that is good about the game, it's all about the bad. This has happened in my generation and I would be a liar if I said otherwise. Today on the other hand it has been blown way out of proportion. I stated before in past posts that the new generation in my eyes are a bunch of stuck up brats that want everything for nothing. If they don't get their way they rage until they do. Give them a gold nugget and they would throw it away saying it was too small. At least this is the way I think of gaming society today. You all want more for less. In conclusion appreciate the games for what they are. This game is not even a month old. Give it time. If you still don't like it then no one is stopping you from leaving. It was your choice to buy and play the game. If you want everything you will end up with nothing. I fear another video game crash like the one in 1983. Thank you for your time.

Play a mage.... you will end to pew pew with your staff because no frigging way you can cast normal spell if you don't have a staff.. and spawn 5 rotation of magical skills... Yeah great content... great customization...oh please try harder next time.. You can honestly imagine a tes singleplayer game like that?.....Because if you can....well is even useless to talk... This was supposed to be a TES online not a sort of The elder war of warcraft.....sorry... With the difference that at least world of warcraft (that i hate) have contents even in the base game that TESO only dream.. Is like having a cake promised and get instead a paper ore...... It's just a scam... End of line.. this... like that : That plastic look...

Open would mean you can walk from High Rock to Black Marsh, from Morrowind to the Summerset Isles and experience the whole landscape in between. What you get in TESO are slices of the lands. Of course within these slices, you can walk around freely. But all that ends even when you want to dive for example, which you cannot do. Again, no open world. Before its launch, TESO was said to have all of Tamriel accessible to the player which is nothing but a blatant PR lie. All other aspects were mentioned, but I have something to say about opinions in a discussion and about the strange notion that an opinion would be invalid by its very nature - mostly because someone claims to have access to an objective view on things: Face it folks, there's no objectivity in anything. Objectivity is the erroneuous belief that observations can be made without an observer. We have not only eyes but a brain behind them (biologically seen the eyes even are an extension of the brain), and that brain interpretes and judges right at the very moment we perceive something. Anything. When we talk, we exchange not only messages (on various levels - text, facial expression which is lacking online, tone etc.) but also parts of our socialisation, our connotations of anything we ever experienced, our cultural imprints and whatnot. Short: We exchange ourselves as a co-message (and often this co-message is dominant, which the recipient cannot know which again starts a fight of sorts). No one has access to objectivity, unless he is some kind of Ubermensch.

Very hard to shake off bad publicity of any sort when it comes to games at least. ._.

The initial sales were probably huge (no, vgchartz does not count because it only says how many physical copies were sold). The success depends on how many subs ESO can hold after the first few months, not on people who wouldn't have bought it in the first place and now play circlejerk. I mean, look at popular games like WoW or Call of Duty, everyone says they are the worst possible games ever and yet many people actually play and enjoy these games. Angry people throwing shit on the internet is not always an indicator on how popular or successful a game is.

I did the same with Guild Wars 2, I got the collector's edition and it feels I just bought the Rytlock Brimstone figure and the artbook and got a subpar game with them.
