Though would that be for just followers that are actively following you or would it include potential followers?

Followers in the CurrentFollower faction.

 

So I could still end up with Vigilance trying to enslave me while if i were to hang around the stables? That's kinda weird i guess.

 

Though that does leave me wondering why Meeko never tried to take a swing at me, though if i were a betting man I'd wager it would have to do with his first introduction where he leads you to his master's corpse.

Followers are removed from the CurrentFollower faction (and the player teammate roster) if they're not your currently active follower... so yeah, unfortunately, he would try to enslave you if you just hang around the stables.

 

The PotentialFollower faction would do the job at preventing Vigilance I think, where isplayerteammate would not, but it's got the same problems as the currentfollower faction for follower overhaul mods. That is, it works, most of the time, but only if you're only using the vanilla follower system.

 

Meeko isn't technically a member of the CurrentFollower faction when he leads you to the corpse (though he is in the isplayerteammate array). He only joins that faction after you tell him to follow you.

Hi there, I'm new here and I just downloaded this mod.

I test it by letting bandits attacked me until I'm downed, but when I'm downed the bandits will stop and just stand there.

After I get back up again, I can only talk to the bandit and there is no action happening just like the mod description said.

 

I'm using disparity and imperious of skyrim that alters Vanilla Race I think? Reading the compatibility saying conflict about this, maybe any solution to this?

Hi, i'm new here, and I must be honest with you, I'm not sure I set SD+ as it is intended to be. I follow the instructions but I've installed quite the numbers of mods so I suppose something has broken something else.

First of all, I want to be enslaved only if defeated, and so it happened, but last time I was defeated by some thief, after the enslavement I only had a popup saying "now go to your cage!" or similar and then nothing happened (but controls where disabled). After a while via zaz I retake controls and I flee without any problem, but I'm unsure if I'm free or not. I kept the collar on, anyway... Other thing, but I don't know if it's related to SD+ or some other mod: often I'm speaking to some npc (sex is irrelevant) when this npc stop everything else to tell me "slave! Serve me!" or similar... Now, it is everything nice and good but this happens very often, so it starts to be quite annoying. Can it happened because I have the slave collar equipped? Can you give me a hint on which mod can be or how to reduce the possibilities that this can happen?

I have come across this issue where he tells my PC to go to her cage and the owner gets locked in "busy" mode while I lose control of my character as well. Also I noticed a bug when enslaved by giants after they take their first round with you the ability to communicate with them is locked. You can interact with them you just cannot select any actions.

Do you mean that you can see the dialogues option, but clicking on one does nothing? If so, it is the same issue I had with the chaurus start. It may be that the script handling the dialogue options on the backend fails silently.

I figured out the maria eden conflict. I wrote a bat file to get all player factions, then compared the pre-and post enslavement logs.

 

The issue was this;

 

Player.GetInFaction 080096AE ;;;zbfFactionSlave;;;

GetInFaction >> 1.00

 

Before enslavement, that faction is set to 0. After the enslavement through SD+ ends, that faction is still set to 1.

 

I set it back to 0 (set to -1 to get faction level of 0 again).

 

After I did that, the maria eden slavery options dialogue comes back.

 

Is there some reason why zbfFactionSlave is still set to 1 after the first enslavement ends? Is it required for something to function in SD+?

 

I can show you the before/ during/ after/ logs if you want to see them.

I thought the slave faction was released after enslavement but I missed something apparently.

 

I am out this weekend but I will look into it Sunday night when I come back.

 

 

Will it be a simple matter, to fix this faction conflict within the mod or should we simply have to resort to using console commands?

I think I found a bug. My character got enslaved and marched to mistwatch, was put through the usual for awhile and then at midnight was told to go to my cage. But then the game locked up and I can't move. Even after using the unstick option. I've got all of the requirements and SD Cages. I have the latest updates for all of the mods.

This might be due to an incompatibility. AFAIK, Inte is developing SD Cages with a much older version of SD+, and I think SD Cages is probably to be used in conjunction with another of Inte's mods, SD Patches, for optimal results.

I was thinking of the cages in SD+ when I read that, I dont use the separate Cages mod. It was repeatable and I ended up getting past it by going into the cage before the exchange although I then had trouble with the Mistwatch owner not taking ownership, eventually I just said I needed a strong hand.

Try help cage in the console for the exact spelling or look into recently completed issues in github. I can't remember how it is named right now.

 

Eventually I will add a checkbox in the menu.

 

I keep seeing comments in Cages and SD patches threads about people who dislike what I am doing with version 3.0 but they are very light on what they dislike exactly and I don't want to hijack these threads by making them about SD+

As long as the Owner, when he or she wants a siesta, a snooze, a night to sleep off and forget a night best not remembered, or is just plain shagged out, if they have a cage of any sort nearby, puts all the dearly possessed, nicely collared and bound, into it, and locks them up tight until he recovers his or her senses enough to stagger on, trying to further train and subdue the ungrateful, unruly, charges he or she has taken under their wing

 

That would do just fine..... ;)

Thanks.. what I meant is that I just wish they explained what they don't like instead of just loaning about it... or remind me where they already explained it if they did.

 

I am curious about what they don't like otherwise I can't really fix it :)

well........ since you put it that way :P only thing i don't like is , while I don't mind being enslaved by females, I want Sangy to be male. I wish there were seperate toggles for who can enslave and  what sex Sanguine can be. My girl always is a little disappointed  when after finally escaping her master she finds the daedra is a female. I know, I know, Sanguine is a God of sorts and can be whatever he/she chooses, still my girl always hopes for the manly Sanguine.

Thanks. That's something I can bump up my priority list.

 

Right now, sanguines gender is dictated by SD gender preference.

My only gripe in the past was to have followers that get enslaved not just stand/sit there but that was implemented in a recent update and they get to join the "fun" :P

Now if this glitch with the cages and dialog locking would be fixed up we'd be in business but that will be fixed in a future update I imagine. :)

- in one case, a follower was enslaved but not added to the internal list of enslaved followers and was not used by the master

- I linked the chance of action with the follower to the slavery level, with the idea that at slow levels, followers would be used more. I may adjust the rates if they end up being used too much or too little

 

I added a global variable to disable cages in SD+ altogether until I figure out how to make them work properly.

My main gripe with SD+ is the lack of things to do after being enslaved.

 

I have been slowly cooking a better system of daily tasks to perform, with punishments and rewards, and I will be working on this in priority over the holidays.

 

I was planning on working on the backstory for Parasites but this is more important at the moment.

Something else I should add.

If you would like a idea for tasks I have a few if you want:

 

- If enslaved with a follower you are forced to play with one another for the owner/others amusement

- When owner asks for food if trusted enough can grab ingredients to cook in a cookpot (if alchemy is high enough can poison the food.)

- If defiant as a type of punishment your follower will be whipped and tormented in front of you (Possible Morality Rate?)

- Add dogs/wolves and have your character be used as a "chew toy" if defiant.

- If trust is high enough will be given soap to bath off the stink every now and then. (Immersion)

- If defiant when asking for food only given "Protein Shake"  since owner thinks it's all you deserve (Immersion?)

- As a reward for being a good slave can perform duties on follower given you characters sexuality

- Can convince your follower to distract the owner sexually while it gives you a chance to sneak away (Have to come back for follower later but sometimes has consequences possibly dire. If you take too long follower could die or even hate you.)

 

That's all I have for now :P

Hey Sky, while you're looking for things to do after enslavement, maybe you can look into doing something long term for the master? What I mean is have the master task you to clear out a dungeon, ie. a bandit lair so he can grab the loot; or send you into town to pay off his bounty if he's a bandit?

 

Also, how easy would it be to add the master as a follower home, so your followers go to the master when dismissed once enslavement is over?
