At midnight I get this message:

"[You are enslaved to a master that has been removed from master races. Your enslavement was terminated.]"

Where is the list of master races and how do I alter it?

 

This is a new feature I added to clear the player from enslavement if the race of the owner was turned off in the SD addon Content Consumer created.

 

It is possible the mod didn't detect the race correctly when it was upgraded. I will need more details.

 

What is the race of your master up to that point?

 

 

Been doing a little playthrough and I ran into this too. Only... it was a Falmer!! (I'm not going to complain too much though, it was the perfect time to happen. cool.gif )

 

I double checked the creature in question. Standard female falmer. Been attached to them before in previous versions with no issue.

 

I am using CC's add-on with everything enabled except Netch calf.

 

A little more info: Seems to happen shortly after the 1 hour mark for being enslaved. Quite odd because the enslavement process works as expected. I can even re-surrender to the same creature.... only to be released again in the same manner. More curiously, if I surrender to a male falmer, as near as I can tell it doesn't release me. 

 

I'm about to level 20 in this playthrough which is usually when I get bored and start over. I'll run through a new game after your next update and see if it happens again.

Hey, SD+ isn't showing up in my MCM. Any idea why, or what I could do about it?

 

Have you sorted your load order with LOOT?

If you are using Mod Organizer, have you sorted left panel resource priorities as well?

I assume you've tried "SetStage Ski_ConfigManagerInstance 1" in the console? Similar to what Morferous said, in NMM try auto sorting your load order.

Is it a new game?

 

It is safer to start a new game without SD+, wait for all messages to stop, start sexlab and only them reload the game with SD+ enabled.

That said, so far whenever I've experimented with SD+ it seems to work fine on existing saves where SL is already active for example. Skyrim do you have any idea about the issues I mentioned above, since you're here?

Hello everyone, I have a weird issue I need help dealing with. Whenever I press the arrow keys to change my character's pose, I get the standing/kneeling/crawling notifications, but the animation is not changing. I tried to start a new game with the same mod setup and the issue persists. Although in any other case (like an enslavement) the animation works as intended. I just can't change it at will.

 

What's even more weird is that in my 2 previous playtroughs (with different setups) it was different too. The first time everything worked from the start. The second time I wasn't able to control the animation until the first enslavement, but there were no notifications either. What could I possibly break? :)

Thanks for the response! Tried to play with DA's MCM, reset and disable the mod to no effect. Then I downgraded SD+ to v. 3.5.3 and started a new game with the same mod setup and got the same result as in my second playtrough (no notifications or changes). If I update the mod back to the last version the fix persist, but the opposite happens with v. 3.5.5 saves loaded with v. 3.5.3 installed - they remain buggy.

 

It seems like something changed in the initialization process of SD+ between this versions that causes a bug. Buy the way, I don't know how it supposed to work after all. Should I be able to kneel/crawl anytime from the beginning, or is it an enslavement-only feature?

You should be able to crawl, kneel and stand anytime.

 

Are you using Immersive Fashion?

 

If you do, make sure you use the last version. Previous versions included a wrong script from FNIS that caused the animation overrides to break.

 

Also, make sure you have the latest versions of Devious Devices Assets and Integrations.

Are all your other mods up to date, too? SKSE, SexLab, SkyUI? Your load order is missing the Unofficial Patch (USLEEP)? I'm pretty sure Live Another Live utilizes it, but then I don't know if this could even have the effect of disabling the animations. Arthmoor states on the LAL description: "Use of the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch is STRONGLY recommended."

 

The important bit: I really don't think Alternate Start is to blame, I've not once played Skyrim without it and the crawling stuff has always worked.

 

As you're using MO, make sure that you run FNIS from within MO, not directly from the Data folder. Also, make sure that there are no leftovers from older SD+ installations in your Data folder in case you switched over from a different (or no) mod manager. There must be no .hkx files relating to SD+ in Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors and ..\animations

I don't want to bump my own post so I'll keep it simple and ask again - Is SD+ supposed to show in DA's BleedOut tab as an option to tick? Like Defeat and Necro Absorption?

IIRC it's not in the Bleedout section, it's in the Blackout one...?

In Defeat I've set DA at PC Post Assault at 85% chance, everything else at 2% or completely disabled them. In DA I've ticked the Defeat on BleedOut menu, turned off Necromancy and in BlackOut I've disabled any Rescue or Left For Dead scenario related to Defeat. I've set all other chances very low and left all enslavement priorities related to SD to high, such as 80+. I've set DEC to lock out of SD and given it a fairly high chance of enslavement too. SD's enslavement chance is default(100% I believe).

I've made sure the mods are all installed correctly and working individually, I've registered animations, registered quests in DA, checked for mods in Defeat, refreshed mod detection in DEC, cleaned my Save Game. No other problems of any nature when playing.

 

With all that said, my problem is, I'm rarely getting enslaved on BleedOut or BlackOut, while when it happens(The random couple of times it happened throughout 20-30 efforts) it's combined with some Rescue outcome or Brigands outcome ETC and any priorities or settings in DA, DEC and Defeat that I change, are apparently ignored.

 

All mods work fine individually(Including surrendering through SD+ or triggering DEC) but for some reason I can't get SD+ nor DEC to consistently trigger through DA(Nor through Defeat, mentioning it just in case) regardless of settings. As I mentioned it rarely happens and is problematic when it does because of the multiple or duplicate DA/Defeat outcomes.

 

Note that setting Defeat to trigger way sooner than DA or the opposite doesn't make a difference. 

 

Furthermore I'm still occasionally getting the glitch with the walking animation after recovering from a BlackOut, as well as actually spawning BENEATH the ground when Rescued ETC at inns or temples, with the character falling indefinitely.

 

Lastly I noticed that dialogues getting stuck(Unable to select dialogue options when talking to owners) happens after a warning in the console that reads something close to "CRDE SexHook fail ; Sex with invalid race". Well something like that. It happens after having sex with the potential owner for the first time, no matter who it is, or what race or creature. T wait does not solve this, only loading.

 

These issues persist even on a brand new game on a clean install. Save for generating a log I've provided all info I can think of and tried all methods I know that usually take care of small issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to Content Consumer and Bicobus I got some answers to one of my issues, but the rest still trouble me. I edited my original message to tidy it up a bit and remove resolved issues. Didn't want to bump it like this but I'm getting a bit frustrated trying to figure it out on my own. Apologies for the bump.

There used to be a Bleedout event for SD+ but it never worked right so I removed it in the last update.

Simple inquiry: if my character were to get a neutral NPC as owner, like a citizen of a town, would SD+ react differently? I mean, would the NPC would still try to travel to one of the bandits locations or would it stay in town with its standard package? From this todo list, I'd assume the npc will still get a default owner behavior. But maybe you thought of this eventuality and force the citizen to stay in town?

There used to be a Bleedout event for SD+ but it never worked right so I removed it in the last update.

 

Ah so I did remember it right, although maybe from some earlier version. More importantly though, what do you make of the other issues I mentioned? :$

Small update concerning one of my problems(Namely not getting enslaved at all), I disabled every single outcome except SD+ ones(Actually even removed Spriggan Quest) in DA's menus, I maxed out their chances and generally made sure that as far as options go only SD+ can be the outcome of a DA BlackOut. I also disabled Defeat and DEC as from what I understand DEC is its own thing more or less and seems to work fine, emphasis on "Seems" I can't know for sure. Like I said before, SD+ and DA refuse to cooperate on any level. I am not sure which of the two is the culprit, but seeing how DA worked fine with, for example, 3.5.3 of SD+(Installed with its AddOn) but does not with the latest version, I'd guess something went wrong in this latest version?

Example of what happens, I'll lose in a fight with a wolf and it will bleed me out; With just SD+ outcomes enabled and NOTHING else, absolutely nothing happens, no BlackOut either, the wolf no longer attacks, instead just sits there looking at me(Regardless of BleedOut animation selected) and I have to use reset my state through DA's Utility menu. Do note(I mentioned it in my longer post on my issues) that SD+ works fine if I surrender. It's just that it won't work with DA(Which also works fine, all its own vanilla outcomes play out as they should).

Side note, what happened to SD+ AddOn pack? Merged it with SD+ or maybe with SD+ Customizations? I ask because I remember SD+ actually required it to be installed but it's not on the SD+ DL list.

They are up to date, most of them at least. I have USLEEP installed in my actual load order, just didn't include it in the testing one. I could post it here, but I don't think it's relevant since the problem is present in both.

 

FNIS is generated properly and all the custom animations are working (even SD+ kneeling/crawling, i just can't change them myself). And there are no leftovers since I reinstalled Skyrim before switching to MO. :)

 

Thanks for the help, but I've tried the most obvious possible solutions already. I actually thought it was a mod conflict because I have a lot of them installed, but then it turned out to also happen with almost no mods.

 

EDIT: Attached papyrus script log. It contains a lot of weird errors like "ERROR: Unable to bind script _SDDA_BlackoutEnslavement to _SDDA_BlackoutEnslavement (0E1C51CB) because their base types do not match", and after every attempt to change the pose it only replies with "[sD] Stance override OFF" which means it defaulted to standing, even though ingame notifications are saying that the stance is changed.

I may have found a solution for the unresponsive beast master. Got enslaved to a giant and after a while the dialogues would get stuck, which was expected from the issue. By disabling then enabling the giant, the dialogue would function again. This data may lead to think that the underlying issue is a blocking event, an action that do not take place or cannot take place and is waiting for resolution - most likely a sexing thing (repeat that rapidly 10 times).

 

The beginning of the enslavement to the giant was also faulty, as the beast didn't take any of my equipment. Another caveat were the "needs" the owner had: sex, beating, gold, food. How do I get the giant to beat my character since I cannot talk to it? It also took my 20k golds when I gifted some gem, and I couldn't recover my money, probably because of the initial enslavement issue.

So, I'm having a bit of a problem with the mod, specifically the Spriggan Infection, I've completed the quest, and the quest log says that I've been released from the spriggans, but no matter how much time I wait, the hands and feet are never removed from me, I ended up waiting something like 27 days in-game, and they never fell off, I can't remove them via console, because they keep being re-equipped, and when I try to unequip them from my inventory it registers as me equipping them even though they are already equipped.

So, I'm having the exact same issues I was having a couple of versions ago.

 

What's happening is that as soon as I start a new game, the "Sanguine is watching you..." message appears immediatelly without me even hitting ESC (and therefore, touching any MCM menus, including the mod's). I then check the menus and it tells me I'm in service to Sanguine, even though "Start after A Night to Remember" is automatically toggled on.

 

Also, I cannot kneel or crawl it seems. Haven't tried surrending it; I literally started a new game five minutes ago and I'm still in the cell of Alternate Start.

 

Finally, it seems that surrendering indeed seems to be doing nothing as well. Well, not LITERALLY nothing. When I press the surrender key, the 'choice' (surrender, resist, pray to the gods) menu pops up. I choose surrender and, immediatelly afterwards, the 'entering surrendering stage' message appears on the top left of the screen, followed by 'surrendering to target...' (or something like that), and nothing happens afterwards. I tried surrendering to both the zombies that spawn in the prison of Alternate Start and a few skeevers that I found on the road. In both cases what I just described happened. Afterwards, nothing happens, but if I press the Surrender key again, it tells me 'aborting surrender...'.

It has been brought up before that the dialogues get stuck because of some unfinished action of the master, but that didn't go anywhere- To semi quote, it would be quite hard to pin point which script or mod the action is part of, why it's not completing, ETC. It's also definitely not the only reason it happens, I get glitched dialogue after sex, console tells me "CRDE" SexHook failed, blah blah sex with invalid race... Or invalid owner race or something. Happens a lot actually, regardless of the owner's race, type ETC. One more thing, when this happens it's always after sex spam... LOL... I can tell the dialogues will glitch because whenever they do, it's always after the owner approaches me for sex 2 or more times in a row right before.

 

If anyone knows what exactly "Disable" shuts down on the NPC, which I assume is a lot of stuff, we could at least narrow it down a little bit.

 

Beast enslavement is generally very, very basic and I wish it could be expanded upon. I don't mind it but yeah, it's rather lacking compared to Human enslavement. Pity.

 

But hey at least enslavement works for you, unless you mean you surrendered. Because that's the only way I can get it to work ever since the last SD+ version.

 

Speaking of which... I have to ask, considering I tried to provide all info I can and be as thorough as possible with what solutions I know of, does NOONE else have this issue where DA can't start SD+?

I've had the exact same thing happen occasionally with just the collar. Could not find a way out of that situation so I just went back to an earlier save. Some solution would be appreciated. Note this was with 3.5.3 version.
