All 3 DD mods and DCL are up to date. Are you sure? There was an update that should fix that issue. Though you needed to re-run bodyslide on the corset-belt combo after installing it. (It may just be a fix posted in the thread, I can't remember)

Tockity Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I lied. Still no dice. Fully updated to DDa 3.0e and rebuilt my meshes (every single DD mesh, in fact) in Bodyslide. Even tried it in a brand new game. However! I did find that it was only still occurring with the Ebonite variant. The normal ones are working just fine. (And yes, I redid the meshes for both ). For now I'll just stick with the not so shiny ones. In hindsight, I suppose it makes sense that the fix to DDa wouldn't apply to an item from DDx. Using DDi3.2 player wearing chastity belt (I used the High Security Chastity Belt from Cursed Loot) Animation Filter ON / Preserve Scene Aggressiveness OFF / Use Bound Animations ON start animation KoMachine which has tag vaginal. It's a 3 actor animation. The Player is actor1, thus the one "being loved" by the machine so-to-speak DDi prevents this animation, as designed, and sexlab plays something else Remove Chastity Belt (only change made) and start same animation again It plays fine as expected Using DDi3.3 Repeat of same steps. Step 6 becomes - DDi STILL prevents this animation I've not tried other combos of the 3 animation filter settings, or other chastity devices, or other animations. Wanted to first see if others have seen the same, or if this is already a known issue.

I'm not sure what you mean by this: I'm using the correct body slide and CBBE format (as there's only one format for CBBE and DD) If you mean that you have bodyslide installed and you picked the CBBE option when installing the devious mods, that isn't enough to get the devices in your game. The CBBE option installs CBBE-compatible slider sets that when you run bodyslide allow you to build the meshes for the CBBE-family body preset you use. If you've already run bodyslide and built the meshes you should probably try doing it again, because the invisible devices you're describing are exactly what happens when the meshes haven't been built, or haven't been built successfully.

You're probably running an old version of bodyslide. The most recent release requires the most up-to-date version of BodySlide.
StriderSpy Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 no, everything is up to date. edite: It seems only boots, harness' and belts don't work, as everything else shows now, gags, blindfolds, piercings, vaginal and anal inserts, even the arm binders. edit: is seems only the restrictive set gear, harness' and pony boots are effected, wouldn't this fall under expansions?

Looking closely it seems to be separate but just curious. you cant realy make an only leg set of leg binders because it would badly clip with armors and clothes. The solution is to use slot 32 and unequip the armor but it isnt a so optimal way to go PS there will be 2 versions of the straitjacket, one with just the jacket and one with the leg binder Hello there! Made any progress with the jacket ?

I'm sure this has been answered a billion times already, but I'm not super keen on digging through 410 pages to find it, so I thought I'd just ask again.Everything I have tried worked out so far (have successfully used: cuffs [both arm and leg], gags, blindfolds, arm-binders, yokes, and bondage high heels) and I wasn't having problems with anything. However, on a lark I put on a chastity harness (black ebonite), and the item does not appear on my naked character (even though it shows the image for it in the menu and loads the object if dropped), it starts the quest to remove it, and whenever I close the item menu after equipping it, my game crashes.I'm not sure if this is a problem on the Devious Device end, or if it's interacting problematically with another mod (captured dreams?), please let me know if you have any troubleshooting tips.Thanks!
alexvkj Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Turned out, it's a common Bodyslide-related problem. Just opened Bodyslide, batch rebuilt everything and all works. Maybe it's worth putting in the installation instructions? It's 2016, everyone's using Bodyslide

That may explain the problem. If it does and you don't know how to use bodyslide, try the nexus bodyslide page or scan through any of the main devious support topics. Many bodyslide mini-guides have been posted in them over the last month or so.

For instance, how exactly do the arm/leg cuffs work? I think I understand most of the others, but for some reason the cuffs aren't restrictive like the armbinder, I can still fight, run, look in my inventory, etc. Is this intentional? What purpose do they serve if not to restrain?

What purpose do they serve if not to restrain? IIRC you sometimes trip over your leg cuffs or loose an drawn weapon because of arm cuffs, if not those items merely are cosmetical. There were plans to add some lock mechanics, so NPCs would tie together cuffs and leave the player in an armbinder state or restircted movement, but I think those plans got replaced by other items like the shackles or the hobble dress.
