any idea what could be causing some of the items to just not appear when equipped, such as belts, harnesses, lower piercings, boots, and a couple other things?

 

So I downloaded Devious Devices, Assets, Integration, and Devious Cursed Loot, And Hydra slave girls however many of the bondage items do not appear and make body parts disappear as well as if its trying to activate the animation but won't causing the those parts to appear invisable. Is there anything I am currently missing mod wise or animation wise that would cause that?  I have ZaZ animation, Sex lab framework, sexlab aroused, the body slider, immersive pov and the updated version that works with this. As well as many others that I downloaded from requirements noted one each mod. So Is there something more I'm missing?

 

Have both of you used bodyslide to actually build the meshes? Until you do, most of the meshes don't exist and so will be invisible, as will any body parts they are supposed to replace. The mod's description isn't clear on this.

 

If that's not the problem, check the devices underneath settings in the devious devices MCM. It's a system designed to hide some slots when wearing things in others to avoid clipping, and can be customised or completely disabled.

 

Build the mesh that sounds difficult. Is there some way you can help me with that? Also I am using nmm to organize my mods so not sure how to use body slider from there

All the information on how to use bodyslide should be available on its nexus page. I'm no expert on it, and only use it myself when there's no other option (although it's a great tool.) From memory: you run the bodyslide tool, select the body you want to build the items for from the drop down menus towards the top left, select the groups of items you want to build from the drop down menus towards the top middle (the devious mods should have installed these ready for you to select) and then click batch build near the bottom left. That should set everything going automatically - although you may need to choose between hdt and non-hdt versions of some devices. But yes, the nexus page should give a much better guide than that.

 

As for nmm, I haven't used it in years so I have no clue about it, I'm afraid. Again though, the nexus bodyslide page should have instructions.

For the first problem, try searching this topic - or dd integration - for "conflict."

man, fix your dda and ddx uunp groups section, there is no "Unified UNP HDT" bodies, they are all on "Unified UNP"... damn took so long to figure out why there was no presets showing on the (HDT) versions of the outfits

I'm not sure where to post this but it is an issue regarding Devious Devices so I'm hoping you can help me here:

 

So I use the mod SL Kidnapped Redux by Vinfamy but it doesn't always work correctly but last night I managed to get it to work to my preferences (yay me) but something REALLY weird happened that I didn't notice for a while. The mod has the option to integrate Devious Devices into Kidnapped & they are being used, the problem is certain devices fuck my character up for some reason. I have never seen these devices used anywhere in any of the other sex mods I have installed & played with, (SD+, Maria Eden, Simple Slavery, SexLab Defeat, AP, & Flower Girls), & they screw around with my character's model.

 

The device "Black Restrictive Gloves" make my hands disappear & "Chastity Bra" make my tits smaller. The Chastity Belt keeps the kidnappers from having sex with me even though the mod says they're supposed to & other outfits like the Corset appear only in the inventory as equipped but they don't show up on my character. After some time, I was unable to move at all in 3rd person & jumping wouldn't remove me from the downed state anymore. The 1st time a while back I got Kidnapped to work, they only used me for 3 animations and placed a gag, cuffs, and an anal plug then kicked me out of their hideout when they were done. But with the gag equipped, I can't talk to a mage or smith to remove it or the cuffs & I tried to use the Safe Word function (which I was avoiding as a cheap fix & immersion breaker) but it didn't work & I was still stuck in the devices & outfits they placed me in. The gag will keep me from removing them normally & the chastity belt will interrupt the sex from Kidnapped completely. This time they kept me longer which led to the new devices & outfits being equipped, resulting in these issues I've been having.

 

Something like all of that can really fuck around with the sexiness of getting your girl pegged a group of female kidnappers so I really need help with this! The Devious Devices mods I have are Devious Framework, Assets, Expansion, Integration, & Devious Framework Support. I noticed in Kidnapped's description it says to batch build DD stuff into BodySlide but my BodySlide was a manual install from Nexus & does NOT have any outfits from DD mods which were installed through NMM. Not even vanilla outfits from the base game are listed in my BodySlide unlike in Fallout 4 where I installed BodySlide through NMM & has all the outfits. Do you think you can help or is this something another DD author only knows how to fix?

In theory, all should work if you follow the steps on any of the general "how to Bodyslide" tutorials. There's really nothing extraordinary about the Devious Devices Bodyslide stuff compared to other mods' Bodyslide stuff, as far as I know. I've used a few UUNP presets (UNP w/o HDT, UNPB w/ HDT, HDT Special) for the DD family and never had an issue with disappearing models.

 

Gameplayer has created a wonderful and simple pictured tutorial for Bodyslide here on their Book of UUNP mod page... scroll nearly all the way down until you get to the "How to use Bodyslide" section: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75861/  Obviously you need to change the Book of UUNP groups and presets for the Devious Devices groups etc.

 

One caveat for MO users: I strongly recommend reading up on "how to use Bodyslide with MO". There are a few potentail issues, the critical one being that it's advisable to export the meshes from Bodyslide to a custom folder and then to turn that into a new mod in your left panel in MO. To export to a custom location from Bodyslide, simply hold the CTRL key while clicking the "Build" or "Batch Build" buttons. Do not export to your Skyrim/Data folder (as Bodyslide does without the Ctrl+Click thing).

 

The basic procedure for DD Bodysliding could look like this:

- select one of the DD groups in groups filter

- select desired Body shape in Preset Filter (the one you're using for your naked body)

- don't touch any of the sliders

- check "Build Morphs" tickbox if you have RaceMenuMorphsUUNP/CBBE.esp active

- hold ctrl and click "Batch Build..." button in lower left corner, follow dialog boxes

 

Also, which gags are not showing up? As far as I know, they all work just fine. Just make sure you equip the items from DD Integration or DD Expansion, the ones in DD Assets do not have the full devious functionality (lockable etc.)... unless that's exactly what you want.

I disabled it now. The bra works perfectly, just that the belt has some clipping issues with the characters belly.

If the belt is clipping, you may have to rebuild your character's body too.

 

Unless, of course, you're using a non-bodyslide armor. That can cause abnormal clipping too with the devices.

They are not showing below the neck *because* you haven't done the Bodyslide build yet. Yes you can get someone else's prebuilt output but unless they were built using the exact same body you use they won't be right.

 

Bodyslide is easy enough to use though, just keep in mind that because it has all of those "sliders" to adjust the body in various ways it also has a shit-ton of presets that you can pick and choose from and you don't have to touch a slider unless you really want to.

1. UUNP comes with Bodyslide which is one of the requirements now. Download Bodyslide and select UUNP when you install it.

 

2. Pick a body preset or use the sliders to build a custom body and then build the Bodyslide compliant armors/clothing/devices to match that body.

 

3. Bodyslide comes with a large number of presets which match the UNP variants so just pick the preset which matches your favorite and you should be good with the gear which fits that body. Install clothes that don't match the body and you're in the same boat as if you hadn't used bodyslide and installed an incompatible mod.

So, I did as this mod said, which is to install it with a mod organizer of my choice (in my case, MO). But, the meshes and textures aren't there. I wanted to get working on them with Bodyslide, but the files themselves are no-shows.
