Zaz Animation Pack V7.0 [2017-05-16]

I have now run a test of all the zaz items from clothing/armour on a nord character and the following items are either invisible or don't work:

 

cocoonspool-1 equip

zbf cuffs iron black

zbf dd wrist armbinder02

zbf wrist iron black

 

Thankfully, not too many, the rest work fine.

I'm not sure about the cocoon. I don't think I've ever used those.

 

For the dd armbinder, the meshes and textures are part of devious devices assets, so you would need that (or just its meshes and textures) installed. If there's something wrong with that you'd probably need to chase it up in the devious topics.

 

For the black iron cuffs, do you happen to use Simple Slavery? For some reason it alters the armour add-on for the zaz black iron wrist cuffs and results in them becoming invisible. Or it did for me when I last used it, and I've seen others reporting the same thing. It might be a mistake (altering something from a master file is generally frowned upon, as other mods using the framework might need it to stay as it was intended) but whether it's an intentional change or not it doesn't seem to work so reporting it in the SS topic might be a good idea.

I seem to be having issues with all the SLDoggyStyle animations basically the attacker just stands there though the pc goes through the animation. I have run FNIS a number of times but it persists. Other animations (like Pillory) are working normally

 

EDIT: Noticed the same with ZAP Doggy as well

If this is the problem I'm thinking of, it goes back to SL 1.6. There's no fix for it AFAIK except to roll back to SL 1.59 -- and why do that for one animation? You can use SL Tools to select a different one.

Thanks for confirming it's a known problem at least I know it's not a problem at my end. I'll probably just deactivate them with the SL Animation Toggle.

DCL or not (in my case, definitely not the cause) you should uncheck DD and Zap's animation filters. This will permit you to use the animation of your choice regardless of what those mods think should be excluded. Leaving the filters on will result in your being limited to a single animation (the bugged one) in certain situations.

When there is a next update , I just might delete those animations , But it could be a clash with some other mod or just an older animation which no one uses anymore. I just hope no mod author is using them

Again, if it's zapDoggy_01 (sorry, can't recall the exact name), the one in which both partners are kneeling on the ground and the aggressor is holding the victim's arms behind them -- that's the one that started glitching with SL 1.60, with the aggressor just standing up behind the victim while the victim animates correctly.

 

Rolling SL back to 1.59c fixes it.

 

It's a great animation and if it can be fixed or salvaged somehow to work with the latest SL, that would be wonderful.  

 

If that's not it, sorry for threadjacking here.

Is there anyone running into a issue that the collar is on the floor rather than on the neck? I have run into this problem in 6.10, and fix in 6.11. However it appears again in 7.00? Is this a ZAP issue or caused by other mods? Thanks

I found an image online, a Screenshot made in skyrim, with a character wearing pink vibrators. it was tagged with ZAZ. is that in this pack?

i believe you! and I can see myself messing something like that up back when i first tried to figure out how to use these things.  that said, I don't see anything wrong with the cuffs in SS. Zaz, perhaps you see something wrong here?

Hi, jfraser. Thanks for looking into it, and sorry I didn't report it in the simple slavery topic before. Not sure why I didn't!

 

When I noticed the problem I checked out all my zaz-related mods in TES5Edit which makes it easy to see exactly what changes are made by mods that alter the same record. The latest current version of SS - as of perhaps a couple of weeks ago at least - alters the Armor Addon for the black iron zaz wrist cuffs. The only difference the SS version seems to have is something to do with weightslider support if I read things correctly. Why that would make the wrist cuffs invisible I'm not sure, but deleting that one record from SS, or uninstalling it all together, fixed the issue.

 

In case it's relevant, I noticed the problem when I got arrested with POP, but it also affected wrist-binder and the standard zbf version of the cuffs as well.

so weird. I don't even know how to change weightslider support, so I have no idea how I might have managed such a thing.

 

I have deleted it in T5E. Hopefully that fixes it.

Is there anyone running into a issue that the collar is on the floor rather than on the neck? I have run into this problem in 6.10, and fix in 6.11. However it appears again in 7.00? Is this a ZAP issue or caused by other mods? Thanks

 

If you're using Slaves of Tamriel, go to the support topic and grab the .esp by Avahashija. Should fix it. If not, let me know and I'll tell you another workaround.

Note that ZAZ 7.0 did compile against the latest slavetats, thus fixing the incompatibility introduced by a relatively recent update of said slavetats.

Might be speaking at cross purposes. Of FNIS for modders, I read that they had to use old FNIS to rebuild animations cus of issues with new FNIS? How will this affect animators?

I appear to be having an issue where none of the pillory animations actually have the pillory, the character is simply leaning over with their arms out. I have version 7.0 of this mod, 6.3 fo FNIS, and 1.62 of SexLab.

Do you have any sexlab animation loader (SLAL) packs installed? And does one of them have an esp to add animated objects, such as SLALAnimObject.esp?

 

Some packs that include objects use meshes and textures from other SLAL packs which you won't have unless you use them both, so when an animation from your pack plays any objects that should appear might be invisible. I had exactly the same problem you describe with the Anub SLAL pack. If I remember correctly it uses assets from Leito and FunnyBiz packs which Anub didn't bundle in, resulting in invisible pillories unless you use all of them, or at least install the needed meshes and textures from the others.
