Hi.

 

some of the animations doesn't work after updating sexlab anymore. The object animations (pillory,..) works good, but most of the person to person animations doesn't work. The persons just stand there and making the sounds, I have the right version of ZAZ and Sexlab and have no idea what went wrong.

You did run FNIS or at least didn't get a clean run of FNIS.

 

Simple rule, new animations = Run FNIS again.

Possibilities?

 

A - You didn't FIX the errors or warnings FNIS displayed. Errors are obviously fatal, most warnings are ALSO fatal.

 

B - You installed the update patch for Zaz but not the original mod (or installed the patch first and then the mod).

Hi, I´ll try to get that, too....mainly I got all the "animated-objects" now as real furnitures, I´m on 62 furnitures ...now busy with "outdoor"-stuff.

.....

 

.....

 

I´m now also animating new poses inside the zaz Animation pack, the "new" pack Counts now 70 furnitures with new keywords....the pack will have over 100 furnitures and alternative furnitures and a fine sorted amount of Cages as well !!!!

 

 

That hogtie pose, I´ll also create for YOU

 

how about add a new pose? hogtie suspend.

A plea to xaz and zaz... Please, I'm begging you guys.... please update your download to be a single merged package, such that users do not need to install two files, and more importantly do not need to do that correctly.

 

I've made this request a few times before. Last time was here.

 

This will fix, the single most posted request for help users have using my mod. In the space of less than 2 weeks, I've had to answer to this exact same problem 9 times... they were ALL because the user is not installing Zaz animations correctly. If 9 reported it you can bet dozens more did not ask for help, had to sort it out on their own, or gave up. And this all would not exist, if your patch was combined and provided as a single download.

 

To see my case for why this is happening, and why a single download is the fix, please click the spoiler...

 

 

For my mod Shout Like a Virgin, the only common, repeating, support problem I get is, cases of users not installing Zaz Animations correctly. And these are complex confusing scenarios. They are difficult to sort out. It's very time consuming. And they typically have the user believing Shout Like a Virgin is the problem when it's not.

 

Due to your patch, there are 6 possible install scenarios as follows, each listed with the result when using Shout Like a Virgin (and I'm sure any other mod using Zaz furniture animations).

  1. No Zaz Installed - CTD
  2. Only patch 6.11 installed - CTD
  3. Install Patch 6.11 first, then 6.1 on top, says yes to replacing files - Scenes Freeze
  4. Install only 6.1, no patch - Scenes Freeze
  5. Install 6.1, then 6.11 patch, but says no to replacing files - Scenes Freeze
  6. Install 6.1, then 6.11 patch, saying yes to replacing files - Everything works!

Of course only #6 is the valid install procedure.

Note: #s 3 and 5 are the worst, because in these cases a user can very easily think what they did is fine. These are the cases that lead to long conversations to work things out in my Support Topic.

 

Description for what "Scenes Freeze" mean...

For example, Initial quest starts fine, but then scene gets stuck (a Zaz animation has started and player is now stuck in that animation) - very confusing for an any user. Various other strange behavior can result.

 

If the download combined the patch, there'd be only 2 possibilities... you either installed Zaz, or you did not.

 

 

 

Since my requests before have gone unanswered, you might wonder what I've been doing about it to compensate? Click the spoiler :)

On the Help Page here, I have even provided a combined single download of your mod plus patch. It's been downloaded 700 times.

 

(good news is that you can just use that one and place it on your download page here.. its well tested and ready to go... I only need 5mins of your time to fix this... you spent more time reading this than the time it will take to fix)

 

And EVEN with all this done... I still have 9 people posting in just 2 weeks, lost and troubled, not knowing why Shout Like a Virgin is freezing on them.

 

 

Let me know if my case for why this is needed is not clear enough :) And I can provide more reasons for you. Please help me! It's sucking away my time to have fun and just mod! Or do it for our users!

 

After reinstalling the game and mods, loading savegames just show black screen and play background sound.

After messing around for solution for three days, I think it is ZaZAnimationPack.esm.

 

Removing ZaZAnimationPack.esm and loading a black game cause it to load properly.

or

Removing all followers and loading a black game cause it to load properly.

 

Without ZAZ, I ran around with 8 followers to test, whitout problem.

Also removing EFF make no change.

 

Having a follower and Zaz, and I get a black load.

 

Removing all mods until minimal to find error, I got load order below. Is there anything wrong with it?

I use VirginMaries version of ZAZ to remove a possible patching error, but VM or original ZAZ make no difference.

I can't figure this out, is it the load order, some dependency I am missing or a strange conflict?

start a new Game

...i think,your old games miss skykids...

 

Tried a new game before, error starts after river wood usually.

Will remove skykids completly and test a new game again though.

 

Tested again, still same issue.

In keeping with the permissions outlined in the original post, I'm letting you guys know I'll be copying the ankle chains over to my mod, City Bondage.  I have to resolve an armor slot collision (two items that should be wearable together are both using the same armor slot), so I need to modify the NIF rather than point to the original here (or in Deviously Cursed Loot, as I was previously doing).

does anyone know how to get the full list of zaz commands for bound idles? since the MCM menu in game doesnt give very many options.

Hey! I have an issue regarding animations once they start after defeat or just normal sex. 9 times out of 10 it will cancel the loaded animation and switch to zapmissionary. I have reconfigured zaz and sexlab but I'm not sure what is causing this. Thank you!

Just started a new game with a bunch of new mods.  I used Alternate Start and started the camping in the woods option.  I don't have Realistic Needs, or Alive Peeing, or any mod that I chose with this specific choice.  Now when I walk, all I hear is a constant water noise and an Active Effect of Full Bladder (80%).  How do I get rid of this annoying sound and option?  I have something in my inventory named ZaZ F2 Pee 1, no idea how it came to be there.  Dropping it does not help.  Obviously it's a Zaz thing, but I didn't specifically add it and I don't want it.  I have an MCM ZaZ Animation Pack showing, but nothing mentions peeing.  Load order and mod list attached, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.Archive.zip

If you look in the ZAP MCM you should see a SexLab page. On that is a setting called (I think) Override If Needed. By default this is selected and it is meant to change animations to bound ones if an actor is wearing ZAP restraints. If it is selected try toggling it off and then see if you're still having the issue.

 

(If you also use devious devices it has its own animation overrides which might need to be deactivated, and which conflict with the one from ZAP.)
