Yeah, on the subject of registering the ZAP animations in SexLab, here's an old quote straight from the horse's mouth:

 

"I'll also take the time to point out that you probably don't want to register in the first place. Animations will play just fine without registering, and registering will only take up those SexLab slots for you, and risk having inappropriate animations playing. I have 5336 animations now. I do a clean savefile everytime I install a animation or a mod. Heres the postition error:

 

This is a clean setup with SexLab stuff only and no graphical mods and other things.

EDIT: I think the position issue got fixed when I tweaked the adjustments in the animationsenter. Thinks seems to work with the animationtesting now :) Now I only have 1 last issue, which is that everytime a animation start the female starts instead of me, so I have to use the key before the backspace key to change that. How can that be fixed?

yeah i expected a separate text download too, but i've been checking and pretty sure all textures now are in the main dl

could use some help;

i've used ZAZ before a few times. with different mods, and it's just great. lota skill went into it. thank you!

 

but this playthru i only have zaz just fpr Alicia Painslut mod. and if i recall correctly, zaz has some scripts that run all the time in the background. really rather not have that since i'll really only be using ZAZ for alicia's quest and when i go back to the dungeon to visit.

so is there a way to basically shut of the script running of Zaz when not in use so to speak? a shutoff console command?

xaz was recommending that people do not click the option in the Zaz MCM to register its animations with SexLab. That option should be on the second page of the Zaz MCM.

 

If another mod calls for a Zaz animation, it will play anyway, whether they've been registered or not. If they have been registered then any sex mods that call for random animations may call a Zaz one, which could result in a piece of furniture materialising out of thin air. thanks! wonder why that is even an option in zaz mcm then. be nice if that was mentioned in the mcm menu for registering

I am unsure what exactly I am doing wrong, but I can't seem to get any of the torture gear to show all of a sudden! When I glance at the Zaz mod before, it only had two files showing and it use to contain a texture mod to revel and cover in full the gear, but now it's no longer there and I have tried everything. I have all the proper mods installed too, for this gear to show. So I'm unsure if it's poor load order or not. I'll post it.

A plea to xaz and zaz... Please, I'm begging you guys.... please update your download to be a single merged package, such that users do not need to install two files, and more importantly do not need to do that correctly.

 

I've made this request a few times before. Last time was here.

 

This will fix, the single most posted request for help users have using my mod. In the space of less than 2 weeks, I've had to answer to this exact same problem 9 times... they were ALL because the user is not installing Zaz animations correctly. If 9 reported it you can bet dozens more did not ask for help, had to sort it out on their own, or gave up. And this all would not exist, if your patch was combined and provided as a single download.

 

To see my case for why this is happening, and why a single download is the fix, please click the spoiler...

 

 

For my mod Shout Like a Virgin, the only common, repeating, support problem I get is, cases of users not installing Zaz Animations correctly. And these are complex confusing scenarios. They are difficult to sort out. It's very time consuming. And they typically have the user believing Shout Like a Virgin is the problem when it's not.

 

Due to your patch, there are 6 possible install scenarios as follows, each listed with the result when using Shout Like a Virgin (and I'm sure any other mod using Zaz furniture animations).

  1. No Zaz Installed - CTD
  2. Only patch 6.11 installed - CTD
  3. Install Patch 6.11 first, then 6.1 on top, says yes to replacing files - Scenes Freeze
  4. Install only 6.1, no patch - Scenes Freeze
  5. Install 6.1, then 6.11 patch, but says no to replacing files - Scenes Freeze
  6. Install 6.1, then 6.11 patch, saying yes to replacing files - Everything works!

Of course only #6 is the valid install procedure.

Note: #s 3 and 5 are the worst, because in these cases a user can very easily think what they did is fine. These are the cases that lead to long conversations to work things out in my Support Topic.

 

Description for what "Scenes Freeze" mean...
For example, Initial quest starts fine, but then scene gets stuck (a Zaz animation has started and player is now stuck in that animation) - very confusing for an any user. Various other strange behavior can result.

 

If the download combined the patch, there'd be only 2 possibilities... you either installed Zaz, or you did not.

And EVEN with all this done... I still have 9 people posting in just 2 weeks, lost and troubled, not knowing why Shout Like a Virgin is freezing on them.

 

 

Let me know if my case for why this is needed is not clear enough :) And I can provide more reasons for you. Please help me! It's sucking away my time to have fun and just mod! Or do it for our users!

I am completely new to Zaz Animation Pack. I understand that Zaz animations are generally meant to be called by other mods, but I would like to test them to see what they look like. The MCM indicates that it should be possible. But I just can't understand how it's done.

 

I have been clicking on stuff in MCM and reading this forum, and I visited zbftestzone and read the docs included with the installer (which seem to be directed at the modders, not the players), and I'm none the wiser.

 

So I wonder if anyone of you would be patient enough to give me simple step by step instructions, presuming that I'm totally unfamiliar with this mod.

 

Let's start with this simple goal:

Assume a naked woman is standing in front of my character. I would like my character to spank her buttocks. (Doesn't matter with what, doesn't matter in which position.)

Exactly how can this be done?

You can tag a npc with a hotkey, usually 'n', then go to the Zaz MCM and in the right tab you'll get a menu to test animations. I don't have the names and locations in mind though, so you'll have to do some exploring.

I can tag an NPC with N all right and the menu is there, but it seems to tell me that no animations can be ran because none of them would make sense with those actors in that situation. Apart from which, ZaZ consistently holds the male PC for a female and the female NPC for a male.

 

Clicking "Filter available animations" doesn't affect anything.

On the Test System, change the animation type then chose your animation from the "Animation Index" drop down. Don't forget to "Click for Help", just in case :)

That is what I had somehow overlooked. Now I was able to play the animation "Spanking", except that only the dom (male PC) was moving correctly whereas the sub (female NPC) was standing up and not moving. But even so I saw and heard what I needed to see and hear. Question answered. Thank you very much.

Greetings, I must report a bug (that maybe I caused myself because there was a time when I cleaned my savegame every game day with Savetool, Skyrim Save Cleaner and Papyrus Data Transfer):

 

There was a time when the threesomes worked fine with the dialogue options, but now, the dialogue options and the test option in the MCM doesn't work, and the MassMatchMaker only works ocassionally

if i try to install the download file with mod manager i always get the message "none of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive" what am i doing wrong all other mods install quite perfectly

Archive is not intact, due to incomplete download. Redownload the file.

I seem to have an error. When I installed the 6.10, then the 6.11 patch, the game version show it as being 6.07.

 

-Edit- Yeah, turns out that an older version was still installed somehow. Hiding away in the list of installed mods.

I am a new user of zaz. I have a patch for the Underground bath house that adds zaz furniture to the basement prison. I ask an NPC "to do something for me" and then point out the furniture, they say OK and use it but as soon as I close the conversation they are released. What am I failing to do so that they stay and are not released?

It's probably the mod you use to manage your followers or the follower mod itself if you use a fancy custom follower with it's own system.

If you use EFF update it, AFT should work, I haven't tried other follower managing mods.

I have AFT and the problem is how to exit the request  to do something conversation so they stay in the furniture without being released by ending the conversation. Thanks for responding.
