darkconsole Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Could that be HDT or the Havoc engine deciding the head needs to be moved? if it was that, it would be happening for the PC as well though. the PC itself works fine. its only NPC's that keep trying to right themselves.

And how do you get the animation where you lay down with them when they are tied up? You can apply tears using MCM and the slot system (or as a modder, using zbfSlot). Just go into MCM, select ZAP and "Slots". Pick the overlay for face, iirc, and you should be able to add tears, dirt, etc to the player or any npc (requires putting them in a slot first, and I may be the only person on planet earth to ever have done that. )

The female position is playing the animation now instead of standing in the front playing the failsafe animation, but the male position is still not doing what they're supposed to. Lyrius Cantor Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I installed the latest version of the mod including the patch, but the xcross is not showing anywhere in my game. the mods that I am certain should use it are maria eden slavery and east reach house. the other furniture works fine. anyone know a fix? edit: its working now, but because i reverted to an older version (605)

DonQuiWho Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Would welcome, from anyone, clarification as to what they did to install version 6.10/6.11 over version 6.05/6.07 1 - Is it a straight overwrite? 2 - If not, does it require an uninstall/clean save/reinstall? Reason for asking is that with 6.05 Main+Textures and 6.07 Patch installed, MO shows that if you then 'overwrite' those with 6.10 All and the 6.11 Patch, then 6.05 Main still has 138 non conflicted files 6.05 Textures still has 47 non conflicted files In this context, a 'non conflicted file' is one that exists in the 6.05/6.07 setup that is NOT replicated in the 6.10/6.11 setup Does anyone know a - if these non carried forward files matter in a current game, ie will losing them cause game problems later? b - what they are? Any help will be welcome. TIA
fred200 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Well if you are running Mod Organizer, just uncheck the three 6.05/6.07 entries and check the two 6.1/6.11 entries. In game, register Zaz with sexlib. Done. I don't even know if the register is necessary, I just always do when I change animations.

XCross2.nif The two original .nifs don't seem to be in 610 or the 611 patch You maybe want to check with the authors of the mods that the x-cross seems to be missing from are looking for the former, rather than the latter? If you use MO, as long as you have the left pane loaded as 605 main, 607 patch, 605 textures, 610 main, 611 patch, possibly leaving the 605 main and texture versions active, allowing them to be then 'overwritten' by the 610 main/611patch versions might fix that, ie get you all the new 610/611 stuff, but also leave in situ the old 605 stuff that seems to have been removed from 610/611 I just asked - see above - if anyone knew if 610/611 was a straight overwrite, given that a lot of files from 605 weren't being replaced. None of the answers to date are definitive, but on having a look at the script files, they all seem to be replaced, with no old ones left in place, so maybe it is possible to get the best of all worlds and leave 605 in place too, so that the new scripts kick in OK, and that any mods looking for 'older' asset/texture files, ie those now awol from 610/611, can pick them up that way No guarantees, but the logic is such that it might be worth a try That any help?

TYVM for the suggestion Unfortunately, ticking the 'apparently' right boxes in MO isn't necessarily a guarantee that your game won't get screwed up I've had another more detailed look, give the query raised by Asercu, and the above response to him might hopefully add something. Well, at least until someone who really knows what they're doing shows up and says that that's also a load of doo doo
Inte Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 The reason for the missing files in ZAP 6.11 as I understand it, is that @xaz is dynamically changing textures/colors for furniture/devices through CK, this allows for a smaller file with the same number of options, i.e. the same pillory can be light or dark wood, depending on how they are assigned in CK, whereas before you had one dark and one light wood pillory/X or whatever.

Thanks OK, but does that mean that what I suggested does, or doesn't, make sense? Especially for those mods that seem to be struggling with implementing that, ie those quoted above? And is a straight overwrite OK? I've still not seen any response where someone has been brave enough to categorically say 'yes' or 'no'

Thanks That clarifies the direct link stuff. Maybe those mod authors can issue a simple patch with just those nifs and textures? Would work quite simply in MO. Not sure what it would do in NMM In MO most folk should have 6.07 set up their priorities so that 6.07 overwrites 6.05, so, as no NON-overwritten scripts (nor, I think, animations) seem to be left hanging around to interfere with your game/save after adding the newest updates, setting 6.10/6.11 up in MO to then overwrite the earlier versions should probably work OK. And prtobably keep the old nifs in play too for those mods looking for them But, tomorrow, someone, somewhere, surely, will come along to prove me wrong!
badbat111 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 just doing dawngaurd and noticed something the elder scroll would make a great leg spreader just add ankle ropes as a equip to npc or player and have a second elder scroll that would have rope on the bars at the end rope would be attached to the brown handles that has yellow swirl on it

I'm having a bit of a problem with the bound hands/arms idle animations, and it's even happening in a new game. They won't 'stick'. With an armbinder, the player character or NPC's arms will keep moving to the standard idle animation then back into the armbinder, or just never bother going into the armbinder at all. With cuffs the arms will, if I'm lucky, do one 'loop' of the bound animation and then return to normal, otherwise they'll just shift to the bound animation for half a second and then stay in the normal idle. About the only thing that does work is the other effects of having bound arms/hands, i.e. inability to jump, fight, etc. Here's my LOOT'd load order, if it helps at all. Zaz doesn't prevent you opening doors when bound. The only mods I know of that do are the Maria Eden ones. Are you using one of those?

xaz Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I updated to 6.11 today and i am in the pirate prize quest from devious cidna. Every 2nd or 3rd sex scene i get a CTD. When i played yesterday with the old 6.07 everything ran fine. It might be just a coincidence that the sexscenes crash so often now, so sorry for a possible false alarm in advance Usually CTDs do not log, at least I've never seen one, but I guess it could happen. Those lines are also from DD and not from ZAP. There are no lines from ZAP in your log. But as I said, I doubt that's a problem with DD itself either. Question - is there some method to having wrist binds equipped and to be able to open the doors? Not a single option from mcm works. Depends on the method used. If activation is disabled, then you can force it enabled through ZAP. It will also tell you if that is the case. ZAP also provides modders with tools to preveent activation of everything but doors (and to talk). I doubt anyone but me is using those though.
