It took me a long time to figure out the wisdom of having a good lvl 65 clean save on hand and to make sure that I keep my mods up to date properly. Â I still screw up even now, I just had to reinstall skyrim and all the mods just to find the one darn mod that was screwing everything up.

If there was some sort of issue I would have thought that Ashal would have addressed it by now. Does everyone just have messy installs/incompatible mods or what? I've been running 1.15b without a single problem on a savegame of almost 120 hours now. Â Because people refuse to properly upgrade the mod, follow instructions, or maintain proper load orders and clean saves. Â 1.15b works no different than 1.10, there is zero changes within it that would cause any sort of issue that 1.10 would not also cause if upgraded properly and the slightest amount of care was given by the user to maintain their save files. Â I've stopped trying to help at this point, if people can't help themselves by using simple best practices when modding Skyrim, I won't spoon feed it to them repeating the same instruction a million times, when the proper instruction is already listed all of the place being ignored. Â In either case, 1.20 will be out relatively soonish, people can either figure out what they are doing wrong, or stay behind on 1.10 and miss out on a lot of the future feature updates and mods as they start to require newer versions. Â Best in class, keeps all mods in completely separate folder trees and presents a "merged" tree to the game. Also allows profiles with unique saves so you can have different mod sets for different toons and/or for multiple people using the computer. Â Only drawback is that it doesn't work with the CK when you need to compile a script but if you're not doing any seriously scripted mods that's not a problem.

Â Â MO still loads everything in the normal data folder, so I just keep installed mods in MO, but I maintain SexLab itself within the data folder so I can still compile and work with CK easier. SexLab is the only mod I have installed in data, and since I use Git to track all the SexLab files it's easy to remove it from the data folder incase I never need to revert it to a completely clean install. Â In any case completely agree the world would be a better place if people would just let NMM die and start using Mod Organizer.
kenis19 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Installed FNIS 4.0 beta and I think that's the issue. I tried uninstall it and go back to 3.5, but my character stayed in a frozen stiff state and I could resolve. Reinstalling 4.0 beta allows me to play but I with Matchmaker, Sexlab does nothing or it takes forever to start and when it does it's always screwed up.

I think your issues may be that Skyrim may not be up to date. May also want to look about Unofficial patches to fix some of the bugs in Skyrim.

Instead you should post a new topic in the Technical Support thread. Ashal really doesn't need to hear, and he has already voiced his displeasure over this, how so many people are having issues with sexlab. At least not here.

bob11 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I'm working on updating the cum effects for 1.20, I've set it up to use spells now, which should help in stability for a select few, as well as provide some more options, but I have a quick question for people.  Would you guys prefer the cum removal timer remain as it is, where it's X number of real life seconds before fading away, or should I change it to in game time so it's X number of in game hours before fading away.  Depends on the min-max hour setting.  For example, the current timer has a max setting of 300 RL seconds.  That's acceptable for most situations, unless you want your char or follower or whatever to run around with all that stuff on for a day or until immersed in water.  You could include an option like that.  Plus, the rest of Sexlab uses realtime seconds for its animations, so having realtime seconds for the cum effects works ok. Of course, having game hours means you can calculate the effect time better as a player.  But other than that, unless there are specific advantages or limitations with one setting or the other, you can just leave it as it is or flip a coin.  Only thing that's missing from the framework really is more animations/more scenes per animation plus some form of ejaculation animation or something  tl;dr Either way is ok, more or less.

Not everybody as "cleaning" mod like northern bathouse installed. Maybe you can get into water (which may not be near), So maybe, if you go with that, you need to have also a checkbox to activate "wash yourself" via Mcm.

People, that are interessted in hygiene, should use Private Needs. Defecation and urinating can be left/toggled off, so it's all about bathing, if this is prefered.
azmodan22 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Personaly I can calculate it better with real time seconds. Regarding Private Needs I would like to have the option for the cum effect to stay on until washed but I dont want to install another mod to do that. My mods list is veeery long and installing a mod that can do 10 things so I will turn 9 of them off to keep the 1 I like just doesnt sound worth it. I would prefer it if it was implemented in Sexlab.
