Vtaw Dark (original)

Some of them (cow, teacher, etc) are here (skyoutfits.7z)

Vtaw Battlesuit FG 1.80.rar 7.5 MB · 10 downloads Vtaw Dark FG 1.80.rar 13.17 MB · 9 downloads

Downloaded the Vtaw Dark from the link here, installed via NMM (which shows successful install), but the outfit pieces do not show up in Bodyslide. Mod shows as a File folder in my F4 Data folder, with all of its assets inside, unlike every other clothing mod I have. Do I need to manually move the contents to the correct area?

If so, what goes where (I'd rather not trial-and-error my way into this and risk breaking things)

It not correctly installed, inside Vtaw dark fusion girl folder should be the contents that go in the fallout data folder, the upper folder should be remove. MO2 install that things correctly (and i think vortex too) but NMM not

Thank you kharneth1.

When I extract the .rar file, I get the following file trees inside the main folder:

Tools -> Bodyslide -> Shape Data -> Vtaw Dark FG 1.80 -> .nif/.osd files

Tools -> Bodyslide -> Slider Sets -> .osp files

Do I just need to manually move the Tools folder into my main Data folder?

This is the first time I've ever had NMM not install a mod correctly.

I tried using MO2 once, but I kept getting errors in files that had worked fine when installed with NMM, and I couldn't quite wrap my brain around how to use it - I found the tutorials a little lacking for people new to using mods (having been over 20 years since I last played a game with mods (Rainbow Six - Rogue Spear)), so I went back to the much easier to use (at least for me) NMM

Awesome. Thank you very much.

Well, got the files moved into the proper places, was able to build the outfits in Bodyslide (although the previews were missing the textures), but I can't build them in-game.

Not even available by console command.

Did some digging in my data folder and may have found the problem:

There is no .esp for the outfit.

There isn't even one in the archived .rar file.

How do I fix this?

Unless someone wants to do a proper conversion of the outfit? (nudge nudge wink wink, know what I mean? ?)

wow. I think I can officially declare myself a dumbass. I blame it on the heat we're having in my area (I don't function well in heat)

I don't have the original mod. all I downloaded was the conversion.

shoot me now.

Also an optional Plugin for crafting at AE Workbench.

Wish I had all textures.

Based on the BC FAQs, I guess more generally what I'm looking for is a conversion of (at least a broader subset of) FO4 Clothing Conversions from Skyrim.

I've been (slowly) working through creating FG conversions for these, following GrafPanzer's walkthrough. For now I'm just focusing on doing the outfits Barbarous Continent equips onto the player. This is really the first time I've tried to do full from-scratch conversions, don't laugh!

Anyway, I have the basic process down pretty well, but I've already run into a few outfits I need to convert which have "special" bones for gloves or headwear. GrafPanzer's instructions on dealing with these are to archive and later restore the bones using NifSkope, but that seems to be generalized for also dealing with added "cloth bones" which these don't have. For finger and head bones, is there a simpler Outfit-Studio-only solution I can employ, like temporarily importing a specific head or hand mesh and copying bones from it?

Most conversions to bodyslide require the original file for the esp/textures etc, unless they specify otherwise.

Apparently you didn't see my post immediately following that one.

Don't really know the mod and if it have something particulary weird, but usually you only need to import basefemalehead.nif or femalehands.nif, set then as reference (right click on the shape, set reference or either import it directly as reference, load reference, tick from file, but this will remove your actual reference that you may want to stay to have a clear idea of what you are doing) and copy bones from it.

You also may want (depending on the outfit, you'll need to make some trial and error) use mask weighted vertices on your outfit before copy bones from head/hand so they don't copy on already correctly weighted parts

Thanks for the tips! I figured something like that might work. I'll give it a try and see how I get on.

If you need bones from hand or head better to use full body as single model, check my files

Is an outfit without physics a good outfit ? ?

Thx anyway for the link.

Given that it was uploaded by one of the primary authors of the FG body itself, if the description suggests that it didn't look right with physics, I'm willing to take that assertion at face value. Not every dress is so loose that your tits flop all over the place!

If you noted the inspiration source, the top is a uniquely shaped hard surface that does not jiggle

Unfortunately CBP is limited in FO4 and there's no definitive on the SMP plugin for FO4, so there's not a lot one can do with jiggle. Either an outfit jiggles or not. Rather than deal with issues or bring further problems up that I can't control, I opted to just remove the breast physics altogether. It's unfortunate, but if an SMP or HDT type plugin comes out that allows me to make the breasts jiggle inside the bodice, I will update accordingly.

It's fine if you dislike this, feel free, but please understand that we as mod authors work within the limitations presented to us and based on what we think will work and look best in implementation. Personally I prefer my outfits to make as much sense as possible when it comes to physics, so there might be times where breast or butt physics are not present. If that bothers you, either learn to edit the files yourself or move on.

True. As a demidevil you should notice the devil emoji, was just a (useless) touch of humour. Appreciated VBait 's answer. I won't edit anything and will continue to dload and endorse quality works. Thanks both of u.

When should "Build Morphs" be used when using the Body Slider tool?

Untitled.png.9b3d59103f656e4c2143e4dfe09d65bf.pngSo uh, Hi

i don't know if anyone already converted this or not but i've tried messing around a bit with Vtaw Miranda and i don't know if i need permission or not because that was free to download and i only converted the outfit so i had a couple of questions

1- Do i need to convert every part of the outfit or is the combined outfit enough ?

2- Is there a better way to convert the heels ? because i had to nudge the feet inside so that they are hidden

3- Is there something i'm missing to make the outfits wet when it rains ?

Please bear my inferior intellect i'm not a modder

also would be nice to recommend something to make the game look better given that my laptop is a bit of a toaster
