This is a question to just try and save myself some time every time I need to remod skyrim. Because once everything is working, this is by far the largest time sink. I like my bodies glossy. I already have a custom skin texture installed but what I do is I open each and every outfit in outfit studio, and set the specular and gloss to a ration of about 7/100. Is there a way to just apply this setting to the body across the board for all outfits using the same body, so i don't need to open and save each outfit everytime I have to reinstall skyrim? Like a way to apply the gloss to the CBBE HDT base model itself?

How-To: Add Transparency to an Outfit
NIND (jimmyyu) posted a blog entry in Introduction to Modding with NIND
This tutorial goes over how to add transparency to a mesh in an existing .NIF file. Tools Needed: BodySlide and Outfit Studio (v) GIMP - GNU Image Manipulation Program* GIMP DDS Plugin NifSkope setup for use with your textures *There is also a DDS plugin for Photoshop Methods: There are currently two methods I know of for applying transparency to armors ingame: Mesh Segment-based: Easy and straightforward Transparency is based on the mesh segment in the NIF Cannot make a non-transparent retexture of a transparent mesh segment Texture-based: Highly Customizable Can be used to make cutouts without removing mesh (or when removing the mesh would give you an ugly cutout) Can be used as a retexture Takes more time and iteration I will go over both methodologies in this post using transparent outfits made with the same method: Before doing either of these methods, however you will require a working copy of nifskope setup to work with your textures. Please take a look at this video for setup instructions if needed. Mesh Segment Transparency: As with all bodyslide edits, this should be done to the .NIF file within the ShapeData folder for your project if you want all built meshes to keep the transparency. Using this method will also mean that all subsequent retextures applied to the mesh segment (the leotard in this case) will also be transparent to the same degree. Texture-Based Transparency: (OPTIONAL): A tip for Increased Accuracy (Exporting UV Lines) (OPTIONAL): A tip for Easier Prototyping ( Ctrl +E ) Hotkey- 3 comments

hello guys, i need help with this, i want to separate this outfit https://www.sunkeumjeong.com/post/archmage-armor into different pieces so i can equip the straps or the thong separated in-game. to, for example, make my character have sex while wearing it without the panties on, or to just use the thong alone i tried doing it with outfit studio but i realise i needed to add something to make each piece appear in my game, so if you guys have any tutorial i'd be thankful

Hello people. I got a "problem" with Bodyslide that is honestly making me crazy So what happens is, lets say for example im using a follower that comes with its own Bodyslide preset, So in Bodyslide I go and build the meshes for any kind of armor Then I go in game, and make the Follower equip the clothes, and what I notice is that when I compare the Nude body of the follower vs The body with the armor equipped (The one I built the meshes for before) I notice that the breasts are not the same size as the nude body, every other body part looks the same, except for the breasts They look slighty smaller compared to the nude body, so what Ive been doing this far is just playing with the sliders to make it as accurate as the Nude body but its kind of a hassle tbh Is there a easier way to make the Clothes fit a preset the same as the nude body? Btw I have tried this with quite a few different followers and it happens on all of them, UNP and BHUNP, also with a ton of different clothes and armors

First of all, I think I have a problem, when I open bodyslide, default settings such as Cbbe, cbbe body hdt, etc. do not appear, CBBE installed, HDT installed, racemenu installed, but I can't see it, so my clothes do not match my preset, please help, I'm about to go crazy! I had stopped modding skyrim before, but I didn't delete the mods, I just deleted the game and uninstalled it. I don't think it has anything to do with it. I just wanted to talk. And,and, i'm sorry for my bad english

So I'm converting an outfit to my match my custom body. I've done this several times, but this time I wanted to move the mesh (in this case the corset) a little bit up, and I also reduce the scale to make it look tighter. Once I'm done adjusting the meshes (See red square). I move it around with the transform tool (See red circle). When I'm ready to build the body with my personal body preset, the preview in bodyslide looks perfect: That's the result I want, but once I go in game, it looks just like this: In game: Is there a way to fix it so the corset mesh doesn't move when I drag it or scale it up or down with the transform tool? Thank you for reading

Hi. I made a "new project" in bodyslide, build it, and in racemenu, when i trying add tats for example, it wont show up but it can be visible in other armor where used different body mesh. Its clear that i made an oopise when created project in bodyslide. Who knows what could cause it? Yes, i made little changes on body meshes and create "new project" and then use it.

outfit studio Bodyslide output nif different from what I see inside the tools
Guest posted a topic in Skyrim Technical Support
Hi, I'm trying to convert an outfit to UUNP. In Outfit Studio the gloves (the armor as well actually, but focusing on the gloves should be easier) weren't properly aligned with the body, so I thought of using the "scale" and "move" options on everything (except the reference part, of course). After building in bodyslide though, the nif showed the gloves in a higher position then the one shown in BS and OS. So I tried to create a new project without modifying anything: i built it in bodyslide and in the nif the gloves were always higher than the project, but kind of in the right position. Anyone knows if there is something to make it show properly in the tools? -
Greetings, Apologies if this is an unwarranted question, I've been trying to get into doing conversions, however the outfit I'm working on has no "CalienteTools" folder (ShapeData and SliderSets) It only has meshes and textures folders. I tried looking for a solution far and wide (of course trying to find a version with bodyslide files included, with no luck). I now turn to you mighty divines of tight outfits - Is there a way I can create the bodyslide data so BodySlide can open and edit this outfit, for the conversion ? (CBBE to 3BA)

Hello there, I've only just dipped my toe into some "real deep" modding with Skyrim LE so, apologies in advance if it's a stupid mistake. Where it started: Now, I made a switch to UNP from CBBE just to experiment. I took Bazinga's Naturalistic HDT Xml's and got interested in using the included Chinese UUNP body. Some HDT Physics weren't exactly to my liking so I reweighted it a bit and got a pretty decent body. Then I took the Remodeled Vanilla Armour for UNP HDT bodyslide mod and well, of course it doesn't use my custom body as the base mesh which shouldn't be a big deal but I really want that so, I'd like to "update" the reference body of those outfits from UNP to my customized Chinese UUNP. Context for the Issue: The Chinese UUNP body has separate Vagina meshes consisting of two other meshes besides the base body. When I load the outfit and then go to load the reference, it only lets me choose one from the three meshes. Obviously, without the meshes, now there's just an empty void where the Vagina should be. To try getting around this, I tried loading the outfit > then loading the reference > then importing the nif file of the Chinese UUNP body (containing the three meshes : body and other two vagina meshes) then deleting the extra body and keeping only the two other meshes. Now I have the Outfit, the custom body and the Vagina meshes. Then, I import the osd of the Chinese UUNP body which adds morphs to the three shapes (body + vag meshes). Now I do some other stuff like adding back Zap Sliders and Copying The repainted bone weights and then save the project. Problem: Here's the problem. Now, when I go on to bodyslide and select the outfit I just converted, on the preview, the sliders affect the base body and the outfit, all fine and dandy until I look at the Vagina mesh and it stays still, doesn't move at all. In outfit studio though, everything seems fine. The sliders affect the shapes like they should. I tried a few other combinations of doing certain things and not doing certain things, like selecting the Vag meshes and conforming them to the sliders, conforming all (OS crashes :P), not importing the osd file at all (sliders don't affect base body anymore), etc except for, obviously, the thing that'll prevent this issue from happening and I can finally get a good night's sleep. I've gotten stuck on a good amount of things on this switch to UNP and i've been fixing them by heavily depending on luck to have things just click into place. It's 2 a.m now for me now and I have given up to come here and ask for help :")) i've ruined my sleep schedule...

Hello there everyone. So I’m not super familiar with body shop beyond converting Vanilla and some modded outfits to the body shape I’m using. I’m having troubles with outfits I’ve downloaded that claim to be useable with body shop and the CBBE body not showing up in body shop and I’m not sure how to get them in, and sometimes I have come across outfits that show up in body shop but don’t show up in the game. I tried googling it and I keep getting a video that isn’t particularly helpful. Any help would be super awesome!

Hello hope yall doin well I'm trying to edit "Eli's Utility Jumpsuits" to only have the fanny pack as a wearable addon to my character like an armor piece, I edit it using Outfit Studio I deleted all the pieces but the fanny pack, used xEdit to change the slot so it is not the Body slot and added a Fortify carry weight enchant to it, changed the weight and armor rating so it make sense, but every time I try to wear it my game insta crash. Even thou I did the same thing to "Another Combat Armor" and now I have it as fanny pack, but when i do the same to "Eli's Utility Jumpsuits" it keep crashing the second i wear it the only difference between the 2 armor mods is that "Eli's Utility Jumpsuits" have "(AWKCR)" as requirement could it be the reason? or is there something different between the 2 mods for example like in the nif? Please if u know why please help me to know why and if can how to fix it Edit: btw this is for personal use as i do not own any of the mods Combat armor Fanny up Elis Fanny pack Down

When i edit a bodyslide project in outfit studio (for example conforming to a uniboob reference) the edit itself works but when the generated mesh is supposed to be used by multiple textures, for exemple: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27897, then only the displayed texture in Bodyslide/Outfit studio will now be used for ALL versions of the outfit. Is there an extra step or something to avoid this problem ?

Hi all, I'm a novice modder and found out that I can drag in assets from vanilla items into an outfit in outfit studio. I recently was trying to make a version of the roughspun tunic without pants, and I used the CBBE vanilla (physics) as a base. I then deleted the vertices of the pants successfully. However, I use the 3BA body type, and the base outfit comes with the standard CBBE body with physics. I found out unfortunately that after dragging in the 3ba body and deleting the cbbe body, that the bones don't seem to be connected to the mesh. Does anyone know a fix for this? If it's a long and tedious process I can bite the bullet and just redo it without dragging in the 3ba body assets, but I'd like to keep those if possible.

Good thing I copied this before hitting enter or I would of had to of done it all again because of a clodflare error. I have a question regarding BSShaderTextureSet and BSShaderPPLightingProperty. I need to know how to add those to a nif. Recently I have been messing around with outfit studious and found out that you can get fallout NV nifs into it. I can get them into it then I delete out all of the shapes that are not needed then if needed I move the outfit to better fit the body being used. Then remove all of the clipping once I am sure I have everything how I want it I use export nif with reference. You must make sure it is how you want it because after exporting you will not be able to load it into studious again without it crashing it. Next I run it through mesh rigger to remove all of fallout nodes and replace them with skyrims nodes. After that I use a copy of the unaltered body which is the same as the one in the outfit it's just that the unaltered one isn't smooshed and what not. I run the dress through the clothing converter and convert everything which also fixes the smooshed body the clothing converter removes the old BSShaderTextureSet and BSShaderPPLightingProperty fallout uses NiMaterialProperty so it wouldn't of worked with skyrim anyway. So now I need to find out how to add a BSShaderTextureSet and BSShaderPPLightingProperty to it to get the textures back. Can you just copy them from the original nif and paste and somehow attach them to that item or what? Before after

Hello! I was having issues with my or the npc's skin clipping through this outfit. I edited it in outfit studio, but now the arms are missing, and if the dress is worn in game the arms are just invisible. Here's a rundown of what I did: 1) Opened Bodyslide, selected the outfit, then opened it in Outfit Studio. 2) I loaded my bodyslide preset and saw that skin was poking through the leg and chest areas. 3) I decreased the volume of the mesh in the affected areas. 4) I saved the project when I was done (but did not tick "copy reference shape"). Can anyone tell me what I potentially did wrong here? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Have you ever felt 3BA was lacking detail around the back? This mod aims to fix that problem by replacing the area around the anus as well 3BA's default 3BA_Anus mesh with geometry transplanted from Johnny Bungalow's UBE body. This new geometry comes with 6 new sliders for the anus, and as an added bonus I also added veracruze's Areola UV Fix slider for the nipples. (UBE Anus variants now also available for Vaginaless 3BA) 3baubeanussliderdemo.mp4 Do note that to account for the altered shape, an edited normal map will be required to make use of most of the anus sliders. Pre-edited Fair Skin Complexion and Diamond Skin normal maps have been included in the installer, as well as simple .png overlays for quickly patching your installed normal maps. Patched normal map vs unpatched normal map: 3ba_ube_without_normalmap.mp4 Editing a normal map to be compatible with 3BA w UBE Anus is easy. All you need to is to place the UBE Anus overlay on your normal map while making sure its placement matches the placement of the anus on whatever diffuse map you use. After you're satisfied with the overlay's placement, save it and apply it to your normal map. Below is a video of me matching overlay placement to a diffuse map. 3baubeanus_anusnormalplacement.mp4 The bottom line is that it isn't very difficult to patch a normal map to work with UBE Anus, and I'm sure plenty of people reading this are able to do so. In fact, to be a bro and post your patched normal maps in the support thread for this mod so others can enjoy the mod easier. Also, I highly recommend the below tutorial if you want more resources on editing textures for use with this body. It is in Japanese, so machine translation may be necessary: <Link to tutorial> Also note that the default anus placement is much closer to the vagina than original 3BA. Use the "AnalPosition_v2" slider (called the "Anal Back" slider in BodySlide) to move it farther away. 3baubeanuspositiondemo.mp4 --- Links to patches made by others/skins with in-built support: Baby Girl - HD Fair Skin Complexion for Women: Link BnP - Female Skin: Link Diamond 3BA Puffy Vagina normal map With UBE Anus: Link LoverGirl Patch: Link Marshmallow Skin: Link Mature Skin Complexion for Women: Link PB's 8k Silky Skin Patch: Link Zhizhen Female Skin: Link --- Update 12/06/2023: Added new Optional File, "Alternate Anus Collision Weights - Amplified x1.5" based on 1.08, for those who feel 1.08 does not open wide enough: Acknowledgments Acro for CBBE 3BA Johnny Bungalow for UBE veracruze for V's Cut tznvlw for making the FOMOD installer -
Hi guys, anyone help please, can there be some software or plugin with which I can extract body sliders and save them in xml? My old xml was deleted, I would like to make a copy of the body, but this time it improved.

It is 3AM as I post this, i have been trying to figure out bodyslide for hours and not wanting to screw it up, so i'll throw this out there. Is there anyone willing to tackle the task of making the iron bikini 1 from TAWOBA at least, and even if only that i will be thankful for the help, compatible with Hepuchi's presets(Which are on his twitter, specifically a google drive link).

I am trying to export the Odin Valhalla Rising Rogue-Asgard armor to Skyrim CBBE with the blender files from Knightmare-Giga. I've managed to succesfully do the main armor in outfit studio, but when it comes to exporting the cloak to support HDT I'm a bit confused on the steps I have to take. From what I can read from tutorials, you need to build the skeleton manually in outfit studio then manually weight paint and then do some XML to define the HDT. However the blender file already comes with a nice skeleton that's already weight painted, so I would like to use that for the cloak and then somehow attach the spine to the cbbe skeleton. I'm using the PlyNif to export the cloak into a nif, but when I look at the skeleton in outfit studio the bones are all the correct position and still weight painted, but they've lost their parents and are all attached to a single root, and when I try to manually set the parents their position turns crazy. I suspect that's because the positioning they have is relative to the root bone, but calculating the actual positions from there would be a pain. So is there a way to export the cloak or the skeleton in the correct state from blender into Skyrim? Or do I need to manually redefine all the bones from scratch? Another bonus question I would ask is that since the "base" armor is esentially just a body with a marble like texture applied to it, is there a way to automatically fit it to the CBBE body rather than using brushes in outfit studio? The proportions, especially between the breast and butt don't quite match the cbbe shape so I need to do some pretty heavy editing to the vertex which often results in some bad shapes once I apply sliders that causes I have to restart. Right now I've resorted to more or less keeping the original shape the same and just making sure the neck and hands fit, but a tighter fit for correct bodyslide presets would be ideal. I'm pretty new to 3D modelling and modding, this is my first time trying to do this so I'm probably missing something.
