Okay, I have been with this mod back and forth for year or so, but how do you really play game with it, considering using the full functionality of mod, because there is so many hoops to jump through. Do you use complementary mods to make it bearable or you just play along with it? Really curious about people experience, because I like functionality, integration and features, but I end up disable like 3/4 of it, because I barely can play the main game with it and seeing female NPC walking around fine is making me jealous of how easy they had it.

To add on to what Monoman said, I highly recommend using Requiem and turning off the orgasm fatigue and misogyny/inequality stuff in Survival. Requiem makes the game harder but also reduces the health of human enemies (bandits) which makes the early game more tolerable IMO. It's still really tough tho :). Pair it with some modern gameplay mods like Valhalla, MCO, Precision, True Directional Movement, and SmoothCam and you've got a solid mix of combat and SL stuff.

If you don't use Devious Followers Continued (I know Aldid does), I highly recommend installing it and toggling on the optional SL Survival integration it offers. Your follower can get you some much needed licenses when you're poor but you'll have to be careful and pay them off as soon as you make some gold.

For the gold making part, Survival kind of encourages you to beg and steal but if you don't want to do that I'd recommend installing Missives. Gives you some low-level fetch and delivery quests to make some gold and do some exploration while your character's weak. If you want SL-oriented methods, install a prostitution mod like Radiant Prostitution, TDF, Ancient Profession or anything similar.

Does anyone know of anything I can tweak with either Arousal, SLSO or sexlab to make begging easier. Seeing begging requires someone to cum.

On a new character I sometimes need to re-repeat a sexual beg with the same person over and over again to no avail of them building up enough enjoyment to cum.

I'm trying to create a merge patch for this but SSEdit wont let me since I have too many mods installed, is there a way to workaround this? I'd really like for everything in this mod to work since it's by far my favorite

Temporarily disable some other esp's while you make the patch I guess?

I assume you use mod organizer? There's a "Create backup" button above your load order, just click that and you can you can right click -> Disable all without fear of losing your load order

From what I understand all the mods you use need to be in the merge patch so that it can fix conflicts between them, if I disabled a bunch of mods wouldn't that make the merge patch useless?

I don't think you need to include mods that don't actually have any overlap with Sexlab Survival. Like, you can include Sexlab Survival.esp en no grass in caves.esp but what conflict do you hope to resolve with that combination? You should be able to trim down a handful of mods that are unlikely to  conflict to get below the limit and still get a patch that covers 99% of conflicts.

You can use UnOfficial MatorSmash SE.  The xEdit mergepatch script is not updated for SkyrimSE.  There is a warning about it.

Recomend to also use Mator Smash Rules

Mator Smash is a tool that generates conflict resolution patches, similar to Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch.
Smash is capable of handling conflicts in all record types.

I did not create Mator Smash, but I have updated the code myself. Yes this one loads more than 254 things!

Overview
Characters, items, quests, music tracks, leveled lists, weathers, magical effects, etc. are all represented in plugin files as records.  When multiple mods modify the same records, only the last loaded mod's changes get used by the game (with some exceptions).  This is known as the rule of one.  Many plugin patches combine the changes of multiple mods to resolve conflicts, but there is no way to create and distribute patches for every possible combination of conflicting mods.  This is where tools like Mator Smash come in.  Mator Smash allows for conflict resolution patches to be generated following rules.  This allows users to quickly and efficiently combine the edits of multiple mods.

Smash is not capable of completely replacing handmade conflict resolution patches.  Please verify your patch in xEdit after generating it and make changes as necessary where smash's conflict resolution was insufficient.

You can download v.0685 for SSE here

I'm using it on AE and it's working without any issues from what I can tell

I think Mator Smash, use the real mod loader file "plugins.txt" and "loadorder.txt" stored in "youUserFolder\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition\" to populate a selection screen before providing you with choices.

Mator may fail to load the mod order shown in your mod manager, If the mod manager is creating a custom loadorder file located somewhere else.  I do not use Mod Organizer, do not know the proper setup you need.

This is how it looks in my Mator Smash. No issues, ever, but I use Mod manager Vortex.

I'm wondering if there's a way to disable female npcs telling me to "get out of the way, slut." Or generally disable misogyny directed at the player by female npcs.

Youch!

I actually agree with them. The modularity of SLS is one of its biggest highlights, as is how well you've managed to make all these moving parts work together.

I only wish some parts were more invisible. For example, if I disable a license function, I'd hope the relevant dialogue option to purchase one also disappears. And if I disable follower escorts, I'd also hope any guard dialogue that refers to followers are also disabled.

Separately, I'd also hope the kennel can be disabled as an option. I feel like I forgot to report my issue: after I'd accidentally broken curfew and license rules several times, I was sent to the kennel in an armbinder and a gag. Consequently, I wasn't able to talk to the keeper to end my stay, and the kennel door remained locked as well. If I'd remained outside, I could've used muffled speech to persuade a blacksmith to release me. But as I was, with my DD MCM menu locked and no way to use restraint keys, I was in a soft lock.

Quite a late reply, but I'd nonetheless like to suggest Corsec's SPID mod that distributes non-DD items for female NPCs. It provides the appearance of a slavery atmosphere without the scripts. Then, you pair that with either SLS or BM Licenses for good effect. The only compromise is lack of narrative link between NPC's appearance and player appearance (the storytelling goes on inside your head), but SLS comes close to filling the gap. Otherwise, there's of course Slaverun Reloaded + Enforcer.

I found the culprit. The mod "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition" overwrote records in "SL Survival". Once I moved the load order of "SL Survival" below that of "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch", the issue was no more.

If you had the unofficial patch anywhere besides the one place in your load order where it should be (right below the CC mods), you've got a lot to worry about for your future modding endeavors. I'd hope that this is a one-time accident for your sake.

Does anyone have a problem with fondle. I can speak to creatures and animals but when I want to choose what to do the dialogue option are just dots ....... So I can't see what to pick. I'm on latest beta.

How do you get to disable the guard forcing devious devices on you whenever you enter the city (i.e. Whiterun) it's honestly annoying and limiting things I can do in the city as well as other mods that's city exclusive. I tried disabling toll avoidance but it still happen. Any help?

For more info he is saying about "it's what the book says" and "you've been a naughty girl"

SSE doesn't really do automatic merges. If you want basic functionality, forward all Race records to a patch and look through Container list and forward those that have _SLS_Tools added.

Is that not how it's supposed to look? From my read, it looks like all of those pieces *do* have the Bikini keyword, and thus have not needed to be manually flagged as such

Depending on which version of SL Survival you have, it's either a cheaper version of the curfew license with only roleplay downsides, or it immediately triggers Public Whore (if you've got that mod installed)

Speaking of prostitution, what prostitution mods are people using with SL Survival? I'm not sure which one would best fit with survival
