Texmarker Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Is there a specific reason not to convert to form 44? I would like to do that, but since it is not converted despite being the sse port, i am not sure if there is a reason.

I would like to do that, but since it is not converted despite being the sse port, i am not sure if there is a reason. The difference between form 43 and form 44 is there is a new potential field under the running water section in form 44. If that field is not there, the game just assumes it is blank like every other field which is not there till you add it and populate it with data. There is no reason to convert it. There may also be no reason not to convert it. Though, if the mod in question (I'm speaking in general now about any mod converted to SE from LE) has custom face gen files, converting it will prompt the Creation Kit to re-run face gens this will overwrite the custom face gen files. Sexlab survival HAS face gen files (enforcers) but they are not custom, so I don't think converting it would hurt it. But I don't do it because it is unnecessary. ? tl;dr There is no specific reason not to convert it except that it is unnecessary. ? 1

The EFF wheel is too big too. The top is clipped at 5120x1440 resolution. Also, when I use it to bathe or something the following menu is off the screen so I'm blindly using my arrow keys to select things. With EFF I could turn the wheel off and switch to old school dialog controls, but with survival there are the odd functions that are much easier with the wheel. Is there any way to reduce the scale of the wheel? And lower the top of the drop down menus? I'm hoping it is an ini setting or something somewhere. But it might require a dedicated widescreen patch. Thank you.enb2021_2_2_20_03_01.bmp Are you using a wide screen resolution? The size and other characteristics of the wheel are all handled by the mod UIExtentions. (Which is why both SLS and easy wheel are big and not just one) There are known problems with the wheel size if you are using an abnormal aspect ratio resolution. If that is not the case I would check to make sure nothing is overwriting the wheelmenu.swf in UIExtensions. Beyond that, I really can't help, sorry. ?
foreveraloneguy Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 With the yps tweaks installed, yps is broken when it comes to head hair. Pubic works fine, stuff is enabled in the SLS menu, but if I use shampoo to change hair styles, the hairstyle never updates. I can go back and forth between braided/ponytails ok though. The same is true for using a hair growth potion. I get the message about my hair growing, but the hair on the character never changes.

So it is actually UIextensions where I need to correct the problem. Yes, 5120 is very widescreen. At least that has me looking in the right place. Hopefully it is fixable.
LostDremoraDream Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I'm interested in trying the YPS function of this mod for SE, but I read there's an issue? Should I wait for the next update before trying it?

The features all work fine in my build.

Is your characters mouth open? Yps very regularly sets the players head. There may be practical (because bethesda) reasons for this but it destroys the actors expression and conflicts with sls open mouth. So yps tweak skips hair updates while your chars mouth is open. Try manually opening and closing mouth. This is the only difference I can think of.

Started 3-4 new games and had the same symptom each time. However, I think I may have sussed it out. After recompiling all the Hormones scripts again, this last new game isn't showing the issue, so it seems it was related to Hormones YPS hair control. I may start another few games just to be sure, but this looks promising. It's a bit odd that the problem didn't show up until I installed yps tweaks and survival, but whatever. Now I need to figure out how to get devious followers and survival to play nice together without turning nearly everything off in one or both mods.
belegost Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 There appears to be some sort of conflict between Survival and Submissive Lola - Resubmission. Whenever the character is stripped of her clothes as a punishment (including shoes) and gets "barefoot" debuff, it is not removed after re-equipping them. The debuff persists even if the shoes are manually unequipped and re-equipped again or going through load doors. Sometimes it takes up to a minute for the debuff to disappear by itself, sometimes it "catches up" and goes away after jumping several times, and sometimes it takes a game reload with shoes on for it to be gone. Is there a way to toggle this particular functionality off? I couldn;t find anything in the MCM, can't pinpoint the exact cause of the conflict and having to reload the game after almost every Lola punishment is driving me crazy.

The first page of the MCM has the slider for barefoot speed debuff. You can turn it off there.

JayDrizzle Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 I just want to say that this mod is fantastic. It changes the feel of skyrim so much. I find myself: darting about behind buildings, jumping rocks trying not to get my licenses wet because I am avoiding the town gates, trying to barrel out of the back of a blacksmith forge after being spotted by an enforcer... I have a suggestion or two that shouldn't be difficult to implement. It would be great to hide the announcement that curfew has ended. This would keep it a bit more of a surprise or unknown if the guards are rounding up the streets. I also think it would be great to add a random dialog choices to the guards when they ask you the name on your license. This would act exactly like the begging/asking for help dialog option and having to pick the right responses when verbally degrading yourself. If you aren't looking at your license and memorizing the name then the guards could claim it was stolen or a forgery. The toll collectors could then add debt/devices/etc. Anyway thanks MM1 for all your hard work. I have started working on a loading screen mod to capture the essence of the skyrim you created. Thanks again! 1

There are other things that can disrupt it too, like basically anything that overrides expressions. As MM1 pointed out in the main SLS thread, someone really needs to come up with an expressions framework to traffic cop all this facial stuff. Right now it is kind of hit and miss to see what is potentially in the way, things like random emotions and the expression feature of blush when aroused I know from personal use are potential trouble makers. Basically if Sexlabs facial expressions aren't working this is likely not going to work right either.

zallon Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 So two questions, if you arent worried about the bikini armour, is the tesedit still needed? and is devious devises a requirement for this mod?

If you aren't worried about bikini armors being available in chests AND you place SLS's plugin lower than ANY other mod that makes changes to race then you might be able to get away without doing a merge patch. But a lot of other mods are going to have their own issues without merge patches and bash patches. It is really just a good idea to use them overall. No, devious devices is not a hard requirement for SLS
