Most probably father didn't have orgasm. Or the PC (depending on your progress). These are the only options if it happens while using SLSO.

Hi everybody?

I cannot see the "relieve tension" item at father's dialogue options. I recieved the message box saying that this option will be available.

I'm using the must uptodate SE files and dependencies, and the voice file with safado's corrected esp.

Any clues?

Upgraded to 9.2. SE. Not using voice files. Started new game. I am not getting the help relieve tension dialog either.

EDIT: Also after getting you upset father dialog, did not get i am sorry dialog either.

I am having some serious issues trying to get the Tweaked SE version to work. I am fairly sure I've installed it properly and all, and the option to start the quest does show up at the Alternate Start statue. The problem is that the game simply does not register that I've chosen an option. The quest does not update, nor does sleeping in the bed actually do anything, it instead throwing up the standard "Sleep is the last thing on my mind right now!" message.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and/or know how to solve it?

Edit: While I managed to jump-start the quest by way of using the Wartime debug menu, I am completely unable to actually progress once the main meat of the mod gets going. Father's favour never increases, no matter what I do. I simply cannot figure out how to clean, and the main UI Menu cannot be opened nor can the hotkey for it be changed.

To clean up you need to simply use walk to the dirt pile and click the use button when the option appears next to aim. To take tasks from father you need talk to him and select option "father?" - there should be an option to ask father if he has any tasks for you.

I know how to go on errands. The problem is that going on errands, giving Father food/drink and so on doesn't actually change the favour level at all. And paying him to help mother also does not increase the amount of days mother has left.

As for cleaning, no such option appears, even while looking directly at the dirt piles.

Update: I found that the problem occured because I had not updated Papyrus Extender for a while, in addition to letting Sexlab SE overwrite some small files from Papyrus Extender. Updating PE and making sure it was not overwritten was all I needed to do to get it working properly. ^^

Something's absolutely fucked then. I never encountered similar problem, most probably it has something to do with the way you started the mod. Do you still experience the same problem with being unable to start the mod via Alternate Start? If so - try downgrading to version 8.X and see how it turns out for you.

Btw.: Please post your modlist. My bet is you don't have one of the required mods and maybe someone smarter than me will figure out what's going on in your setup.

@Monoman1 I encountered a strange bug. Father doesn't grant me free time. The dialogue is there, but favours are not reduced and tasks are still going.

try this. Still compatible with v9 since it doent edit other changed things.

I once put on the "mask of shame" but I cannot ever remove it since.

I also tried like 20 times to ask father for it and pay with favors but nothing ever happens ( I got plenty of favs).

there MUST be a way to lose that shit thing, it completely ruins my game. :(

There is nothing that you can do through the console or DD MCM that gets rid of it.

If you do remove it through the console - the damn thing just comes back.

Do what I do. Wear it and pretend it is not there.

And next playthrough - don't ever put it on.

no freakin way.

3 hours was only bareable becaus I was convinced it might come off eventually.

but whoever made this thing immortal to removal is a freakin maniac. killed 3 exhausting hours of gameplay for me.

not having a way out is madness.

Also @fred200

There are multiple ways to get out of DD, including console. First get rid of everything in your inventory, so it'll be easier to identify what's what. Then type player.showinventory. Usually DD's are double equipped - first there's "normal" item (in this case the mask of shame), then there's a second equipped item with a strange ID. The trick is that you have to remove BOTH with player.removeitem, it sometimes takes more than one try, but it works. And this is just the first solution, there are few more. You can also spawn skeleton key in your inventory (though I'm not sure if this is not a functionality of Devious Lore). Using it will remove all the equipped devices. You can also spawn your normal restraints key. Also there's an option to struggle out of the device, or lockpick it (saving before attempt pretty much nullifies attempt cooldown). DD's MCM has a debugging option that removes all the devices (under terminate all DD quests I believe). If you're using Slaverun - there's an MCM option to remove specific devices. There's also a mod callled DD escape overhaul on LL, it makes struggling out of devices more fun.

actually, none of that was true. -for this device

this mask ist not a normal item and has no regular ID.

so of course I dropped everything and tried to remove it all (3 weird IDs were left over) by console.

several times. and thats when I decided to start asking here. (I think the use of console was already mentioned there).

none of this is fun, and thats my point.

I had no idea it would be unremovable - especially since there is an option in the conversations with "father" which turned out to simply not work.

I am absolutely not into this and probably not the only person here, therefore I think there should be an option to remove it or a fair warning for wearing this to be permanent und unremovable for the rest of the playthrough.

so last resort: throw away several hours of gameplay and restart.
its 2021, this shouldnt be necessary I think...

That's true for most of the devious stuff, they're quite difficult to get rid of via console. Nonetheless, it can be done.

As for the mask - this is more or less a quest related item. Father will not remove it via normal dialogue, he should however remove it after the supply run. There are rare instances in which the removal fails, I suspect this is what happened to you.

Out of sheer curiosity I checked if Devious Device's Terminate DD quest option works against the mask of shame and it does. I also tried forcing the console removal of the item just to be sure, and this worked too - player.removeallitems, then player.removeitem xxx1e69b "1", followed by player.removeitem xxx1e69a "1". So this should work for you, too.

Ah, so here's the problem.

The mask - from what I recall, I might be wrong on this - is a part of DD Expansion, so it'd probably be best if you ask in a proper support thread. I have no clue how DD works on SE.

DD does just fine making the mask removeable.

The problem is that this mod re-equips it. I wound up with a stack of 10 masks at my feet, in one of my futile attempts to get rid of it.
