Thats just awesome. I had always looked/hoped for a tavern wench mod where you worked as a job in a skyrim tavern but this is probably the closest to what I visioned except your serving father/party at home instead. Look forward to playing with it when you get it finished.

Can anyone think of a better door? One with more... transparency? (It will need to 'fit' too, which can be the hardest part)

Yes. Seems almost a shame to limit it to the home cell...

Who knows. Maybe Father's eventual aim is to turn the home into a tavern/brothel...

I'd really prefer a vanilla asset so that I don't have to go looking for permissions. 

Maybe a banner that you just walk through that doesn't really cover much of the door opening...?

 

That curtain does look pretty appropriate though

Looks awesome! I know the New Gnisis in Windhelm is full of tattered/torn up banners, maybe one of those could be repurposed as a doorway covering.

Could be it starts as a job for the player in The Bannered Mare or The Drunken Huntsman, and as depravity/submission increases, Father could come up with the brothel idea both to further limit the player's access to the outside world and to benefit himself more (instead of helping other businesses profit).

I've messaged the author manafalls mentioned above. See if he's willing to share the transparent curtain. We'll see. 

Banners got a little motion to it though which is nice. Whereas the curtain is very see-through but completely static.

Ah I dunno. Repurposing the system to work in any cell would take a lot more work. 

Maybe I'll eventually add something like it to SLS. Would be appropriate there.

We could try throwing their textures on the New Gnisis banners if they say yes, see how well they play together. Alternatively, as a separate mesh item (so as not to afflict all banners), could alter the alpha in the .nif of the banner to make it transparent.

That is very fair! Part of me's largely just pondering integrating Wartimes' mechanics and tasks with Whiterun as a whole, it'd be fun to see more uses for your reputation in the city (and especially more chances to lose and find new consequences) as well as tasks there. The base handful are very underwhelming compared to the meat of the mod (now) and stuff like the Supply Run and Belethor are fantastic touches.

Then again, I have been meaning to ask about potential ideas for Aldo, having him largely just sit in a corner until his sex tasks come up is a little saddening, and besides him leaving cum on you at the start, Father doesn't seem to utilise him too much in the PC's gradual fall. 

And now I'm rambling...

Got permission there. Tried to shoehorn the curtain mesh into a moving banner but ended up just mangling the mesh. I'm just not very good or patient when it comes to meshes.

Also, I'm having yet another problem maybe someone knows something about. I've placed a bee spawner at the bee hives outside but no bees spawn. It's a direct copy of the spawner in the trees a little to the north east. That one gets bees but mine doesn't. Any idea? My critterspawn script is from USLEEP. 

 

The only time I've seen bees at it was when I set speedmult 300, ran away from it and then ran back fast. I could see them being disabled quickly as I returned...

Interesting. My intention was that actually it was father sneaking into your room at night and jacking off all over your face. The PC explains it away as being 'the dog drooling all over her'. It's a precursor to tense sex. Whatever works though

For the bees, my copy of the farm just outside of Rorikstead has some bee hives.  Not just a thing hanging on a tree, but pieces of furniture with bees and such.  It might be a mod (I'll check later, but if they are vanilla, maybe those will work better for you.

The spawner for the bees is an invisible thing. I just placed it next to the beehives that I had placed before. (The beehives are from the thieves guild quest)

 

Father takes 10x the value of the items you steal from the pantry. You'll be able to buy them back from him. There's now 3 containers in your room (dresser, chest, end table) and they're all fair game for his compensation too.

Haha, I remember you mentioning it before, yeah. I meant more that his involvement only extends to that and then being used for sex, otherwise he just sits in a corner.

Perhaps he could contribute to causing messes in the house, a little impromptu change of schedule for the player when the dog suddenly runs amok, not unlike father's drunk state. Potentially, an event where he disturbs the player's sleep, ruining those attempts at getting a good night's rest for those needs mod inclined. Dog walking as a (I guess setting him as a follower and having to walk some arbitrary distance?) chore doesn't sound bad to me, initially it would be similar to chopping firewood, something that doesn't benefit the player a lot, but if you fail to do so Aldo creates a mess, giving you MORE work and pissing off father at the same time. Progressing along it could eventually turn into Aldo trying to proposition you (rubbing up against you) for relief and if you don't give in, Aldo could eventually rape you as an (optional) lead in to future recurring sex with him.

Maybe father tells you to play with him every so often, which could be another time spender against you, that can be replaced with sex later. Could be made to buy his food/toys/treats out of your own pocket too, after all, Father's all tied up 'supplying' for mother. ?

Ah, turns out the beehives I mentioned were from LiveAnotherLife and placed at ShoalsRestFarm.  Good that you got it worked out.

edit btw is any find it dissapoining with how little adult quest mod for skyrim is? fallout 4 too only have barbarous continent as far as i know

I love the concept of the mod but I never gotten far.

i just reach a point very early on where I don’t know what to do.

(Running SD+ but does not trigger).

After waking up in the Basement (right after returning with gold and mother disappeared):

- Father fails to put a collar on you, but quest continues and the PC is enslaved by Father (not SD enslavement).

- Mother is at home amputated 

when I talk to Father, there is only the dialogue option “Father” with some choices; Whipping(fails), punished(fails), Sex and Sex. Last option something like “What will happen to me?”.

 

i don’t get any tasks but he did mention after selecting “What will happen to me”, that people may come in the evening, but they never came.

 

Not sure, but am I missing anything or after waking up in the Basement you will have some standard choices with Father, but no progression (reached the end of this particular story branch)?

 

p.s. I am using SE (Not AE version).

at some point you could replace both the door and wall with bars? that could also force player to be locked in (at night or for punishment). I know you have the cellar as well but having a visible interaction (as in being able to see father or maybe visitors) with him even making commentary would offset the boredom some people find when they get stuck in furniture's (I mean it is punishment after all). Captured Dreams did this very well I thought, you could watch life go on and you got occasional random(ish) visits.

 

Maybe further down the path it becomes Aldo's room instead.

 

Is there any plans to change the limits as when father is fed up with you and kicks you out? - Seems like a really easy get out .. or at least I can hit it quite quickly (even when I don't want to) and no repercussions. Maybe you could flag your player as being kicked out/where WT has finished and use SLS to penalise them even further. 

 

Updates are looking fantastic, can't wait to play.  Has reminded me to chip again on your 'crappy patreon' and buy you a coffee!

It's certainly another direction. What I had in my mind (which is not concrete) is to turn the home more into a brothel/tavern. 'Customers' would arrive on and it's your job to service them otherwise - unhappy father. Customers could queue upstairs (there's a small mezzanine) or could go and watch you in action at the wall/curtain. Bars don't really say "whore" in my mind. + like you say there's the cellar.

Getting kicked out should: 

Add a bounty in each hold (father is obviously well connected somehow. His past is unclear) (not sure this is working currently)

Mother should die which leads to a 50%, month long experience debuff. (I think. Not tested the ends much at all)

 

But yes. Needs more repercussions. I could maybe have father bar you from licences and then you'd have to bribe one of the quartermasters to allow you to buy licences again for say 10,000 gold or something. But without SLS this is obviously toothless. 

 

I could maybe extend the whore reputation to every hold which would decay slowly over a month say.

Btw. I have added a 'debt collection' system to WT. Basically father will randomly approach looking for the debt to be paid. He will take gold from you and from any container in your room (I plan to remove/replace any other functioning container in the home). If you haven't got the gold to cover it then father will begin taking items from you and/or your storage to cover the cost. You will be able to buy back items from him if/when you get more gold. This is obviously a poverty mechanic. But also if he's taking some good stuff then you will probably endeavor to not get kicked out until you get it back. 

 

I've also added a 'rent' system - father will ask for 50 gold per day for keeping a roof over your head. Probably increasing over time to 100 gold per day. This is plugged into the above debt system. 

 

Any other ideas for events that might add random/regular debt? Maybe asking to be released from devices also adds debt as well as costing favour.

There are different types of brothels. Bars certainly have a place in this kind of setup.

Without SLS pretty much everything you can think of is toothless. SLS is THE mod if you want a harsh Skyrim. Other than that instead of debuffs (which are overplayed) you could add some kind of DD with a nasty effect and a time lock. Why is it better than a simple debuff? For one - it actually explains how everyone is able to recognize and penalize the PC. Also, if someone (like me) uses Deviously Enslaved - having a DD equipped pretty much guarantees stalking and rape. Devices also have something that cannot be overlooked - weight. Set it high enough and it will mess up ability to gather shit. If you're particularly nasty - simply add pet collar as a requirement and equip in on being kicked out (or as a punishment). This little mod can and will make life miserable.
