Is there a higher version of DD?

If you get that message just click always "NO". This is true for any other mods too.

Only control mod install via NMM by file overwrites (if there is a need for an overwrite NMM will ask after clicking the "upgrade" window away (NO).)

SUM hasn't been updated since SL 1.64.3 came out. You should be fine to ignore that error, or you can add the version of Sexlab to sslcompatiblesemver in SKSE/Plugins/Skyrim - Utility Mod/System/SUM/System.json.

was thinking that as the one pic shows sum game not loaded so don't think i will ignore it . One silly question what app do I need to edit a json type file, as i never had to before this and my pc has a brain cloud :P

Any text editor can do it, although I would recommend something like Notepad++ or Sublime rather than Notepad.

Do you think this would apply to Sky UI as well? It does not seem to be detecting the Sky UI 5.2SE version. (I looked in that file, and updated for the SL version, but I didn't see an equivalent variable for SkyUI...)

The error is gone, but the MCM still thinks it can't find Sky UI. /shrug.

Hi all, using Skyrim AE here.

I have the current version of SUM and Devious Equip, etc. etc. everything shows up fine under the SUM system page except for SDP version.

Now I am going out on a limb, and thinking it is Sanguine debauchery Plus from the first page, Uhm, Enhanced 2022-01-31 and Resources 2021-07-31 to be exact.

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/120107-skyrimlldeepbluefrog-mods-conversion-to-sse/

Is this SUM looking for the wrong version of SDP, or am I just using the wrong version here?

Thanks all.

Yes, yes and yes. It is not a skeleton issue because I can load the game just fine if I remove SUM, no crashes. Even if I don't remove it I can still play once I manage to bypass the crash. Crash seem to be synchronized with the SUM update message after load. It is like a 2 out of 3 situation of crashing, almost never crash if the game is minimized while loading for the first time (sadly quick-load will crash the game 99% of the time). If this were a skeleton problem you could not play the game at all, whereas the current mod setup has been used for 20+ hours until the load game problem showed up.

I don't have much knowledge about the game engine, but if that is a stack (similar to RTOS stack) the arm that killed it came from SUM context. Now if SUM is the actual root cause or not I don't know. This is what I am trying to figure out.

Also, have been playing for a few hours without SUM using quick save and loading and had experience 0 crashes. Either the bug is in SUM, or the actual problem is still there, but no mod is triggering it.

LE: Seems pretty similar to this. Wondering if the .net crash report is similar.

You can add me to the list of SUM-related CTD victims as stated here.

Hi,

having an issue running the two latest versions of SUM for SE (2-33-1 & 2-30-5) they start up fine on a fresh game, however when I save and load the game later they both fail to find the current version of SkyUI (5.2 SE) and the current version of SD+ (2022-01-31) even though they were found fine on install.

Version 2-02 gives me an error saying not tested against my version of Skyrim AE, but seems to function pretty fine apart from that, in that SD+ and SkyUI are both recognised and appear to work fine.

Wondering if anyone could shed any light on my dilemma, have run it through loot and getting no errors (unusual for me)

Another one here... spent almost an entire month trying to find why the constant CTDs at loading were happening. Lots of trials and errors (thx LL for the search function not working) until I found a few posts here.

Removed SUM, then cleaned the save. Result of this? Absolutely no more crashes. Unfortunately, I couldn't have any fun with Prison Overhaul (which also had to be removed due to SUM being a hard requirement) :/

Hope to see it fixed someday.  Btw, I play in SE with SKSE 2.0.20

Cannot duplicate that in any way, shape or form.

I don’t think you will be able to, I have this too ctd after loading save, starts occurring after several hours of play.  This is on se. Netscript references console util.dll and it occurs when sum is launched. Does the mod make a number of calls of the console? I am going to start again, need to cut out prison overhaul which is a shame but with this dependency I can’t afford to go many hours to have this happen again.

most likely it is an interaction with this and a heavy mod list.

ConsoleUtilSSE does have a CTD problem when a mod makes a series of calls to print to the console.

I mentioned this issue in my release notes for the SE version of POP: "Edited xpojailvars.psc to comment out all but the last xpop.xpopLog lines at the end of function FillJailProps, to avoid a CTD when the mod initializes itself after starting a new game or loading a saved game, and you are also using ConsoleUtilSSE."

If you can provide the steps to reproduce the CTD with SUM, and the lines printed to the console by SUM, then I can try to identify which script lines of code to comment out in SUM.

Oof i'm sorry, I should have got the information. I have spent today retooling my modlist and removing the mods. I would have gotten you the information if I hadn't done it already. If it is any consolation you may have already fixed the issue, I was using using 2.30.1 and the corresponding match of POP according to my zip file. If the other person can comment if they too were using an older version that might be the reason why things went south.

So we know that SUM expects Skyrim SE, and gives you a warning if versions don't match. But have anyone tested if it works on AE?

How do I kill this popup: https://i.imgur.com/W2yX00Y.png ?

I get it each time a saved game loads, but SUM seems to be working fine with Sexlab 1.64.3 regardless.

Edit this file:  SKSE\Plugins\Skyrim - Utility Mod\System\SUM\System.json

Find this line in the file:

"sslcompatiblesemver" : [ "1.62.0", "1.62.7", "1.62.8", "1.62.9", "1.63.0", "1.64.1" ],

and change the version number "1.64.1" to "1.64.3"

A screenshot would be helpful. Can you capture a screenshot of the notification messages?
