What program is that message from?

That message is problematic, because it seems to be confusing Devious Devices 5.1 by Kimy with Devious Devices Equip 5.34.1 by Inte.

Devious Devices is a completely separate mod from Devious Devices Equip.

It makes no sense for that message to suggest that you could upgrade from one to the other.

I get this message when I try too install Equip. I install on Nexus mod manager.

Sorry, I don't use Nexus Mod Manager, so I don't have advice on troubleshooting this problem.

I need some help.  So i have all the requirments for SUM except the UIE patch as I dont know which one I actually need because in the downloads there are only ones marked for LE and I Have SE and the older ones it doesnt like.

Second big issue im noticing is i have UIExtensions installed, however it is not seeing UIExtensions at all.  I dont understand why and i think because of all this my POP is not working, everything is in game for POP, including the menu and all the stoof for events, but i just get vanilla arrested.

In the latest versions of SUM for both LE and SE, the UIE patch is included in the main download file, and is available via the included FOMOD installer.

Please explain. What do you mean by "it"? Do you mean your mod manager?

Some basic troubleshooting tips...

UIExtensions is available for both LE and SE. Did you install the correct version for your game?

Did you activate the mod in your mod manager?

Did you activate the mod's ESP file in your mod manager?

Yes i did all that and i have the right one.   so i have no clue why its not seeing the UI extensions mod. I fixed my issue i was having that borked my skyrim yesterday. SO back to the problem at hand.

Now that i Have it fixed, SUM said on a new start lodaing up everything again if found UIExtensions mod, however it needs the UIE PATCH 2.33.1 but when i look at the downloads it doesnt show one for SE only LE. I need the right Patch and I dont know which one to use.

Help Herowynne to help you. Give more details while reporting an issue or it gets only confusing.

Fill this out:

SE version you are using (installed SE update for AE or did you prevented it? A SE version number would tell!):

SKSE version number:

PapyrusUtil version number:

SUM version number you are using:

POP version number you are using:

SkyUI version you are using:

UIextension version you are using:

Did you install SUM manually or by using a mod manager?

SUM includes a FOMOD now, so it must be installed by a mod manager like MO2 or Vortex.

sum keeps asking me to install sexlab 1.62 but this version is old and is no longer compatible with the current skse ae. Have any predictions of when the sum would be updated or if it's okay to use it with version 1.64? although the message keeps popping up.

The most recent version of SUM accepts Sexlab 1.64.

Can you please post a screenshot of the pop up message, to help troubleshoot? Thanks!

Okay, that screenshot was very helpful.

@Inte added Sexlab 1.64.1 for compatibility, but not Sexlab 1.64.3.

To avoid the SUM popup, you can edit SUM's SKSE/Plugins/Skyrim - Utility Mod/System/SUM/System.json file and change this line near the bottom of the file:

"sslcompatiblesemver" : [ "1.62.0", "1.62.7", "1.62.8", "1.62.9", "1.63.0", "1.64.1" ],

Change the "1.64.1" to "1.64.3" instead, and save the file.

See the instructions I listed above to change SUM’s System.json to recognize the new version number for Sexlab.
