More XDFF rules for Deviously Cursed Loot Version

You can do the same for a second slave Follower

 

Just replace Step 2 with:

But there is no MCM

 

There might be now, tho, as I think I've just been a bit of an ass.  I had installed both the 095 and 101 rules in MO, but only ticked the 101 version.  The big clue was looking at the log again and seeing 'missing file?' against the only entry for this MOD   ?

 

Leaving this here for info, just in case anyone else is as daft

If you don't have a MCM Menu i think you have some Major Problems with your Setup. 

 

First of all there is no Version 101. Do you have "Make any follower a XDFF Dom for Deviously Cursed Loot" installed? These are 23 different mods and not compatible to each other.

And you need to install the estXDFF_NewRules.7z (3, something MB) and the latest Patch 0.95 + additional my Bugfix from today in this order.

And you need to install the estXDFF Version 0.95 + additional my Bugfix from today in this order.

If everything works well i may can release a new "if you want major" Version on Sunday.

 

I was able to create a new rule "cum slut" and it's working well. it's a very basic rule for me to test. It's inspired by the Devious Follower Slut Deal. Nothing special.

I also found a "bug" with registering of the rules. it looks like sometimes not every rule is registered correctly you now have a Button for reset the rule register and to try it again. 

 

MCM itself makes some troubles.

Is having a second sub only possible with a followermod ? I have "follower" with me, from Paradise halls, but they are not noticed by XDFF, as they are not classical followers.

I can set another follower (like having Jordis as dom and Lydia as sub), but sub wont follow, cause i cant tell her to follow ("you allready have a follower").

Honest opinion and feedback on XDFF with this mod:

 

At the beginning it was cool like most of new things but then it's just too predictable and repeatable and the worst thing is that you cant play most of other dd mods while enslaved. First thing i would love to see is to make rules "shorter" it would make mod more dynamic let's be honest some of them are way to long(maybe make it adjustable?). Second thing is to make it a bit more "immersive" just add some cool dialogues for every rule and animations for some of them for example Armbinder equip from Devious Framework Leash game it's super cool in my opinion overall after playing a lot of mods i must say that cool dialogues can make mod way better.

 

For example Armbinder rule, ok player equip armbinder and that's it we cant do anything, cant do quest, cant play other mods so let's make it a bit more interesting like we can ask other npc's to unlock player and convince master to remove/end rule or add second rule for example master: "I will remove armbinder(or any other device) if you bring me Restrain Key (for example)"

 

Basically what i mean i to make XDFF a bit more enjoyable by adding some interesting dialogue, interactions with other npc's...etc 

 

I know it's not that easy and it require a lot of work, not even sure if its possible to do, i just wanted to share my opinion :)

A few suggestions for MCM settings for the vanilla DCL requirement to offer oneself to the master, to add some flexibility:

 

Frequency in hours (defaults to 6).
Slider for chance that master declines (rather than always accepting).
Selection for master's preferred sex act (vaginal, oral, anal, any).
Slider for chance that master will use the preferred sex act with slave. 

 

While it might be common with these mods for the master to enjoy frequent sex with the slave, that need not be the case and the above settings would support different relationships.  Consider the hapless damsel who is smitten with a beautiful woman.  Her attempts at flirting are rebuffed.  In desperation she decides that a show of devotion is in order and offers herself as a slave, a rash act she'll soon regret. 

 

However, the master only enjoys the company of men (oops, the first gal should have done her research).  She accepted this slave out of jealousy (looks, fame, etc.) and enjoys forcing her to offer herself, but rarely accepts.  When she does, it's to assert her dominance rather than for sexual pleasure.  She enforces the no sex with others rule to make her slave squirm.  When she does have sex with the slave she prefers to take the slave anally, knowing that she doesn't like it that way.  But sometimes she'll grant the slave the kind of sex she likes, because it's more fun when the slave has hope but is frequently disappointed.  

 

Anyway, just one possible scenario that would work better if the rule were more flexible.  Obviously the last two options could be done by the player manually selecting the animation, but that could get tedious and it's more fun when the game handles it.

Some things i stumbled across. It dont need to be (nearly) allways a tight hobble restrain as puinishment. Sometimes things happen you dont can control (like the sexy minidress removed due some other event). Some, maybe not that strict, variations would be nice. Other thing, i can remove punishment restrains mostly, even without a key.

Else i would love to see some more bondage variation, complete rubber enclosure, or leather, some strict metal... and maybe a more or less strict hood sometimes ;) . regards and thx for keeping the mod alive !

Just wanted to mention thanks for uploading this extension to the DCUL dominant follower system - its is a feature that I always ignored in DCUL, but with player control over the options and the ability to easily start/stop the feature I can see myself using it often now and in combination with other DD mods.  Originally I simply couldn't see myself using a dominant follower, but being able to disable the rules that interfere with normal gameplay or take over the game too much make it a viable option for someone like me.

One thing that XDFF needs is a pause function, so that if you get arrested you can pause all checks and enforcement and rules while you serve your time.  Autodetection would be awesome, but an "Enabled" checkbox in the MCM menu would suffice.

Just trying out the latest version and I too don't have the dialogue which is a shame since it seems the more saucy way to do it than some mcm menu thing. I don't get the cursed loot xdff dialogue for any npc either not even leon or leah. Could something be blocking this? I have cursed loot v7.2 and devious followers and deviously enslaved installed too. I currently have the devious followers mod paused/disabled so it doesn't interfere with anything.

To put it bluntly: Skyrim Creation Kit just seems to hate my PC. Any attempts to add new quests with dialog on my PC get corrupted. So for some users the dialog systems works, for some they kind of work, and for some like you they don't seem to work at all.

 

And that only scratches the surface of the nonsense CK has thrown at me during my modding, one of the major reasons I just got sick of trying to mod Skyrim. When working on S_L_U_T_S I was able to cheat as I was building on top of non-corrupted quests already setup by DocClox. Yet still at one point the mod just kind of "forgot" which quests all its dialogues options where attached to, making editing them impossible. I had to open up third party tool and manually reattach them to their associated quest just to getting the blasted thing working again. Several days of troubleshooting and wondering if the mod was ruined just because Creation Kit just decided on its own to break a hidden setting that would be impossible to break via human error as its inaccessible to the modder in that tool.

 

Hopefully now that coffeeink is in charge of this project now all the dialog issues will be correct for merely being built of a different PC that Creation Kit doesn't carry some bizarre grunge against. Of course first the poor fellow is stuck rebuilding all the dialog quests from scratch as my version of those quests are cursed and won't allow him/her to alter the scripts without crashing Creation Kit. Very annoying ?

The "Beg your master for a favour" is still available after you have disabled/reset XDFF in debug menu.

 

MrEstruk.. i never got my Creation Kit to run at all !! Understand your upset ;)

Hope this mod is still worked on at all ? .. regards and thx for all the work.

The CK is a piece of turd. What does seem to work is make a separate profile in MO and load only the bare minimum (script/modder sources and dependent mods) That helped me a lot with crashes. It's still a nightmare to do dialogue as the layout resets to a ultra compacted view every time I open a new window.. And save after every few actions..

Also rules forced by this are marked as running, as those which were active at the moment of XDFF termination.

I confirmed it by disabling them in the MCM and getting notification about rule being active.

Timed event of the rules won't work though, as XDFF inactive.

first of all, brilliant mod, but there are two small things that grind my gears. The definition of a "safe area" should be tweaked. i was stripped in the middle of the field, surrounded by enemies because it was a "safe area". Safe areas should only include towns, cities and houses of friendly NPCs, secondly it would be nice if my armor was re equipped upon leaving the safe area

I get a conflicting devices error from devious devices, and looking in the papryrus log it seems to stem from this mod.

There seems to be a bug with the gold game. I'm trying out Gold Game 0 rule and then did the beg a favour dialogue for the dominant to hold gold and turned over all the gold I had. But even after that with 0 gold in my inventory the mod keeps telling me that "Slaves are not allowed to possess that much gold! Turn it in!" But there's no gold to turn in...

I have a bug report about the gold rule.

When you choose 0 gold in mcm (simple or minigame) you will be punished even if you have 0 gold. I guess you are expected to have -1 gold or something.
