And it's not like he's never mentioned LL before. Pretty sure he's the reason I ended up here a couple years ago. Might not've been as direct as the last video, but still...

dagobaking Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 I think MXR is great. Modding gets a little too serious sometimes, imo. So, I can appreciate someone who sees the humor in it. I do think that, in todays climate, LL could come under fire if its publicized by the wrong person/outlet. But, there are already 1000 ways that could unfold other than MXR videos. It's a public forum linked to by hundreds if not thousands of other sites.

Vatiwah might not have the polish of MxR just yet (or even necessarily the level of charm, either)but he may get there some day. I love his videos and his humor. He wouldn't even need the "sloots" to make awesome videos as he's got a unique skill of editing and turning random shit into entertainment.

I sure as hell wouldn't because I would have to fact check everything to be sure the info is correct/up to date and you would still have a bunch of people pointing out mistakes or not agreeing on the technicalities. Much easier to make a goofball mod video- which is why I think he does it that way.

Pornhub account, because youtube is frankly heehaw amateur hour 2. Patreon funded source for max objectivity, cause doing this for free or ads is fucking stupid. 3. Know what the fuck you're talking about 4. Be funny and concise 5. Know what the fuck you're talking about 6. Have a KB/discussion on a forum somewhere to keep topicality and information current and accurate, and also a content barometer, but not a beg page for either topics or butt hurt modders because you didn't give them a 100/10 every time. 7. Know what the fuck you're talking about 8. Strong enough rig to handle good video at locked frames and a decent connection to handle uploads 9. Re-reviews based on updates and #6 10. Know what the fuck you're talking about 11. Lack of fetishes to keep fetish mods under an aegis of objectivity (yes I'm laughing as I type this) For a six year old game kept relevant by the fact bethesda release cycles are measured in glaciers, that's a tall ass order.

Part of it is the social stigma against discussing sex outside of anonymous internet posts and somewhat openly with a close partner. I'm sure they're out there but seem to lack the exposure *cough* to reach most people. Instead all we seem to get for news or discussion on sexy stuff is: "Teehee heehee bewbz!" I mean, why can't we sit down for a minute like adults, with our hands out of our pants, and talk about penises? What are your thoughts on the state of 3d modeling software for adult modding? What aspects of nudity and sexuality are underrepresented in the gaming/modding environment? Are npc relationships cheating? Is the lack of visibility of adult content hurting or helping it's image in the public eye? I don't recall MxR asking or answering anything like this in his videos. If I'm incorrect let me know, maybe it would improve my opinion on him.
