Sheesh, looks like my RTX 2080TI is outdated already, game can't push over 40 FPS on max settings at 3440x1440 ?

Guess i'll have to reduce the ray tracing options. Or make use of DLSS.

 

I expected more out of the character creation. Saints Row had more options.

 

Haven't noticed any major bugs, just few minor physics glitches. And temporally character started walking forward automatically when controller disconnected.

I binge played yesterday and beyond the wee hours of the morning, 14 hours straight.  Not a single crash.  Every mission I went on worked.  Take that for what you will.  Now I won't lie, I have a dedicated gaming rig.  And funny enough I did not update my drivers.  I only update when I experience problems.  

 

As for the game, it is very much a GTA/Saints clone.  There is a story woven in, but you aren't compelled to stick to just it.  There are lots of things to distract you and you can go at your own pace.  What I am having trouble with is getting the vibe of your enemies.  Some are WAY beyond your level and it is a horrible grind fest to beat them.  Others, you can just walk in spraying and everyone dies.  So if you loved GTA or the Saints, you will most likely enjoy the game.  I do like grinding away.....to a point.

 

Edit:  The game does get much easier once you get a sniper rifle.  Damn.  I was getting rocked trying to use a 2 barrel shotgun, handgun and weak battle rifle.  The only bad thing I can see so far is holding the charge weapon key only lasts until it reaches full capacity and then it shoots, whether you are ready or not.  That kinda sucks.  Limits its utility.

Turn Skylighting (cascade shadows) to low, regardless of your hardware.

I too have a dedicated gaming PC and after 3 hours of play I have had no bugs or glitches.  Although I must state I am only running the game on ultra, I am not using any of the really advanced graphics options like ray tracing.  But I digress the game for me has been smooth with no stutter, no bugs, and no glitches.

This and turning crowd density to medium (in gameplay options) did wonders to my framerate.

The latter also makes me less likely to run over suicidal pedestrians ?

It's my understanding that DLSS helps a great deal with performance. Unfortunately that's not even an option for me with my current rig. Hoping I won't have to wait too long for my new computer but given the scarcity of new GPUs I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I'll be stuck with this potato until late January atleast ?

Yea, I didn't want to drop any spoilers for those still on the fence.  The story, when you go back to it is actually pretty good........so far.

I have no idea whom the "they" is but morrowind had nude and "sexy" mods before oblivion was a thing, and Oblivion had a nude mod within a week of launch without the CK. Different environment, different tools, different modding community. While 77 will be more open to mods and an animation anywhere mod is likely, the SL environment and the over one thousand mods surrounding it is not happening.

Indeed. The game already has FPP sex scenes. My guess is, rather than go the whole mod route....we'll see a badly implemented Third Person camera mod, which will sort of give people what they want. But I wouldn't expect anything like Sexlab or AAF. I certainly wouldn't expect anything like new anims.

 

To recap: at most, all you should expect (and it's a HUGE maybe at that, for a whole host of other reasons) is possibly 3rd person perspective for existing sex scenes in the game. That's it. Anyone who thinks otherwise at this point is smoking some primo shit, and you should remind them of the rule: puff puff pass.

I remember the doubters going back to morrowind, and morrowind was given up on with adding animations, I will even add in doubters with the sims games, doubters everywhere on youtube and gamer forms, you don't have to look hard to find one, but I think the expert mod creators will speak the yay or nay, after the official creation kit is released, but the WolvenKit looks very promising.

First of all we really need 3rd person mod. I still cant believe why CDPR didnt ever listen thousands of players who wants fps tps both in the game. I saw on nexus page there are many mods already. Most of them reshade but its ok. It shows people want to mod the game. This give me hope.

Agreed.  I think at most, we'll see "maybe" something close to GTA style sex and that is probably it.  Depends on how popular the game is with folks and how long the interest stays high.

 

Hell, even Fallout 4 hasn't seen anything remotely close to SL for Skyrim.  So you are right on the money.

honestly, it is buggy, but it's WAYYYYYYYY less buggy than fallout 76 on launch day

im not a modder, but when playing this game, i realized theres some stuff needed, and some really fun potential

needed:
-removing the underwear in the overworld
-being able to look down further to see more of your body

-body shape mods

but on the fun part, this game would work GREAT with some exhibitionistic shit like people hacking to your cyberstuff to cause you mishaps in the middle of the street
anything from forcing you to remove clothes, to forcing you to reach sexual climax or shiz
honestly, the hacking thingy got a lot of fun potential

I had to go to medium ray tracing on 2080 and Ryzen7 2700x 32gb memory.  Only bug was going to latest nvidia driver was absolutely necessary.

Game run fine 60 fps + with rtx 2070 super but at 1080p with everything on.

Do you see any chances of Cyberpunk becoming the next Skyrim for LoversLab? It's a (semi) open RPG, popular and ideal for this sort of stuff.

So you can apparantly get your character nude down below ingame still, but you have to glitch it by repeatedly swapping pants at highspeed then leaving the inventory before it readjusts itself. At least thats what I have seen so far. Also it resets everytime you die or reload.
