I knew it looked weird when I searched it   .. It didn't look right...

Anyway Mercury is a male god..

By all means if there is a fact that is wrong let me know. It was late... and other things were on my mind  .

How can I forget Mars.. ? That was about as bad as an mistake as mistaking Jupiter  or even Pluto.

I wonder how did they pick mercury's IP - a mere coincidence, or is it connected with his ban?

Only three possible answers.

1. They sent him a PM with something in it like an image, linking back to them, and he opened it. This will reveal your IP to whoever is hosing the image. If they were doing that with images in the open forums, every who saw them would have their IP listed -- though they cannot tell who is who.

2. Ashal is a collaborator. Off with his head!

3. They're making shit up. This one is almost certainly the true option.

Forum staff with the necessary access privileges can see the IP under which someone posts, at least that was the case with the forum I was a co-moderator once. That's why IP bans are possible in the first place.

That software showed you the username, IP and time of login.

Ack I can't take it anymore ritualclarity.  I'm sorry don't think I'm trolling you but if someone doesn't say something its gonna bust out of me like an alien :s

Roman Mythology 101:  Mercury(Roman)/Hermes(Greek) was the male god of mischievous dealings and sending personal messages between the Gods.  Hence why you see an icon of Mercury/Hermes as the mascot of FTD.

Mars(Roman)/Ares(Greek) was the God of War.

lol..didn't mean to correct you but I couldn't take it anymore

Also unless I am mistaken you can block lists of IP addresses if needed regardless. If Nexus was told that there are IP addresses that have been linked to various activities that are harmful they can just block that IP address regardless of if or if not they have someone that is a member there. I remember a conversation in RL with someone I know that ran a server and had a blocked IP list based off of known spammer and trouble makers. He then added any addresses that he needed during the normal operations of the server. If one particular address were constantly calling or causing interference above the norm.. he blocked that one as well.

They don't "Have" people infiltrating anything, they have plenty of ass kissers that do it for them. people seeking approval and acceptance. But you are free to believe anything you like, as far as servers crashing I believe it is just a by-product of mismanagement or complete lack of management a.k.a "I don't give a fuck". Robin Scott makes his money and that is all he cares about, a pompous ass that thinks he's better then anyone else, plain and simple. his "friends" take care of the servers and all he does is post self important nonsense. hell look at any of his posts and you'll find the horde of ass-kissers below, some of the posts would make you want to vomit.

That's...really sad. Can you imagine how enormous of a basement dwelling virgin you would have to be to have absolutely nothing better to do with your life than whiteknight people who don't give a shit about you? This must be what tumblr feels like...

That would fall under #2. Ashal, or one of the purple people, would have to be an informant.

They made me do it. They had all kinds of info on me that would just ruin me. It started out with small favors that didn't hurt anybody - I was adamant about that - but well, one thing led to another and I was in too deep... They threatened my family, my cat, and above all said they would force me to download NMM. C'mon guys, try to understand... what could I do? :(

I understand. One thing lead to another and next thing you know, I'm giving blowjobs for crack behind the 7-11.

XD  Longest sentence in history of Nexus.

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1735473-1way2play-banned/

And he was banned for no reason.

"The fact you knew it was removed yet some how spoke to the author who gave you permission to upload when the original in in moderator review mode yet would not name him is suspicious enough to make it clear that you firstly more then likely did not get permission so lied about that as they would more then likely have told you about the original and secondly the only source to get it is a blacklisted site that is known to host copyrighted material and who "authors" do not want them re-uploading to the Nexus for obvious legal reasons."

Is micalov banging dope?

So the guy uploaded a mod he didn't make and he got it from a site Nexus doesn't like and THEN the yammering-like-a-rabid baboon begins and all of the second guessing and drug-induced paranoia only to find out the guy DID have permission but they didn't believe him because the guy didn't WANT to mention he got the mod from a site that Nexus doesn't like and that he DID have permisson but he didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to give the staff the wrong idea...which they got anyway...cuz they're all on speed.
