And yes, 2 days ago or so some Nexus moderators modified Yoo's credit section on his Merida Hair mod because he thanked LoversLab. Ah, there, I've seen it, so I can tell you it happened because I've seen it.

Just minor fact correction here.

 

Yoo changed the permissions/credits himself this time, it wasn't done by a sneaky moderator

 

Now whether he was 'coerced' to do it or if done freely of his own volition is another matter that I do not know.

But this at least shows that nexus is slightly curving their draconian measures....

I don't think so the post was probably removed when you click the link to take you to the reference page it goes to the 2nd page but then goes to the first page after a few seconds. Now if you go through the pages you will see this post  http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1698963-midnight-breed-armor-cbbe-unp-7b-modular/?p=14662309 which says basically the same thing as the other person's post and nothing happened maybe it will be the next one to get sent in?

Wonder how thin skins even make it very far in the world probably have to run home to their mommy's every night crying MOMMY someone called my armor not a armor. WAAH.

It wasn't 2 days ago by the way, more like 2 weeks, had a little brain fart, but I do remember back then that you or Yoo explained that a moderator had in fact edited his credit section himself. I'll try to find the post again tomorrow when I'm on the computer (LL on iphone is NOT smooth...)

 

edit : just saw core's post : so I'm not crazy after all it did happen ! Almost thought the exams screwed up my head so much I started imagining stuff. Did I really see Robert Redfort at Cannes last week ??

Makes you wonder where their heads are at or what they are on when they send out a formal warning like that and if the mod author can't take a comment like that maybe they really shouldn't be uploading anything.

 

Obviously they don't give a fuck whether they lose one or ten thousand users, be it free or premium. They're becoming wholly reliant on ads, regardless whether they're legit or containing drive-by downloads.

A few pages back there's screencaps of Don'te messing with credits, I remember that much.

 

They don't even give a warning do they? They just go in, fuck shit up, and leave.

That is pretty lame. I didn't check out that "armor", but I'd bet it's not really armor anyway. So statements of fact can get warnings issued?

Statements in general can get warnings and bannings unless you pay for the exemplary services that D0rky provides or are paying via the clicks your mods get.

That's how it works.

I wouldn't mind posting in their forums and trying to help and be an active member of the "community". But it's like walking on thin fucking ice and my smart mouth (or fingers) would have me banned all too quickly. :lol:

 

Oh, Myuhinny, I got the gloss thing sorted out and I've been messing around with skin textures in GIMP today. Adding tattoos and stuff. Heck, I even added an asshole to FSC Univision skin! :o I named that butthole Robin Scott, for obvious reasons. ;)

Cool glad you got it working. I have been using the gloss technique by changing glossiness float in nifskope coupled with the gloss effect added by glosstech to make my player to make my player have a real glossy oily look.

 

Pity glosstech isn't like glossmax for oblivion. With glossmax you can change the ini files max gloss then you can hightlight and drag and drop whole  body and armor nif files into it at one time and gloss the bodies super fast.

Setting the gloss level at 1000 is a bit much with FSC Univision Sweaty. It shines like a clear lacquer instead of oil! :D Heck, the pic above was with it at 200. :o The face is just at 100 and that's nearly too much. And when I've used Gloss Tech even the "medium" was really overpowering.

Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite is FULL of dirty edits and the author says they're there to make it work. And it can wreak havoc on game saves. Ask how I know. :lol:
