CookieKookie Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Okkkaay, so I don't know if this happened with someone else's Skyrim. I spend most of my time in Whiterun. It was around 8:00 PM, I guess? Some vampires came to attack and what do they do when they first enter? Just STAND. Nothing at all. So I walked up to them and they turned around, sheathed their swords and left from the main city door. Don't know what mod caused this scripting error... Then this other time I was dungeon grinding on my new playthrough, I enter the dungeon and no one attacks me. Literally NO ONE. Even if I hit them they would just continue at what they were doing.
Kuroyami Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Is it just me, or are there too many bears in this game, and in a majority of the early game, they are overleveled? At least with Immersive Creatures, anyway. This went on until the bears had all but killed the soldiers in the nearby Imperial Camp(though I did choose to head in that direction with them in tow...), with Fasendil helping kill the last one. Uh, oh. I think he is onto something. Hmm... He might mean his other amulet, that may just be a spare.

If that persists, I'd ask for help over in the Skyrim Technical Support area. That is a pretty serious bug, even by Bethesda game standards.

Grey Cloud Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 "What?" 1. You need to enlarge the image to see Torsten's eyes and the look on Capt. Lonely-Gale's face. 2. Can't recall ever seeing Torsten in there before. I didn't even know who he was.
badbabyrum Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 cant use 4- 2k background textures but can use 4-2k skin textures and im running the game on a 15 8700k gtx 1080 with 32 gigs of ram on m.2 drive this is some odd stuff

Sounds like your game is incorrectly set up and it doesn't have the VRAM to do 2 or 4K landscape textures but can manage the skin textures.
DocClox Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I have discovered that I can raise dead NPCs as zombies, and then beat up the zombie and enslave them, thus bringing them back to full life. Surprisingly few of them are grateful for this. Then again, surpisingly few would have died in the first place, but for me. Of course, I didn't ask them to try and kill me, either

Arizona_Steve Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 This is probably the most messed up mod I think I've come across. Not sure what this guy was thinking... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmTQdmkS8Xo On another note, those of you familiar with this thread will know about my love of followers and the "standing room only" situations that I run into with the Bannered Mare and the Sleeping Giant Inn among others. I finally got around to writing the automatic follower relocator... 5 seconds and 435 followers relocated (around 180 were not relocatable for various reasons), the busiest place that I have found so far, the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead, is gloriously empty. Now I have to hunt the followers that have been dispersed to hundreds of potential locations around the game...

Mines are fine, at least the ones that don't have enemies in them. I avoided dungeons so that I (or at least my army of followers) would have something to fight. No real voodoo with the follower placement, I simply created a mod with over 800 markers in various places and use the marker locations to place my followers. A bit laborious, but it works.
Grey Cloud Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I haven't been camping since I was a boy but it seems to have moved on since then, at leat in terms of the equipment available these days.
Grey Cloud Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 When More Bandit Camps meets OBIS and they say 'Fuck his MCM settings, we'll decide how many". Sea of Ghosts, just north of Lower Steepfall Burrow. The shipwreck is not far behind me. Thirteen of the fuckers and I could have done without the Flame Atronach. Killed all of them and went over to the island there to get my loot and another six or eight spawned out of thin air. This one is Uttering Hills. Heading for UH Cave. Running in the dark and was closer to the cave than I thought and I had forgotten about the camp ouside. Next thing I know, I'm in the middle of umpteen OBIS bandits and I'm forced to run up and down the valley like a lunatic swinging and letting go with fireballs. Suddenly there is the sound of a bugle and the cavalry arrive. Alright, I lied about the bugle and he was the only one who was mounted but by the cringe they were a welcome sight and made short work of the bandits.
worik Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Who said cows would stand around on the ground all day? Who said they where heavy? Who said they couldn't fly? Bloody liars! Spoiler

I've heard rumors that Rift-ish cows would be faster... I suppose they could EAT the coconut, not sure they could grasp it in their teeth. Hooves would be Right Out. Also not sure if Riftish cows are not just regular cows in the Rift and would be the same as Haafingar cows, though different diets could produce different methane. On the other hand, if they have Cyrodilic cows in the Rift and not in Haafingar... ? ?
MadMansGun Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 ...and now everyone on LL is talking about cows
