But I honestly can't recall now why I did... maybe I actually went to RND 2, then swore off that one instead of the original. Definitely interested in this, though. Starting a new character so it might be a good time to try RND again.

My question is about the toll collectors. I don't seem to get any dialog from them any more. It seems like the first time I talk to them, they have dialog... but after that it disappears. Is this the way they should be working?

I ended up having to untick the option for tolls in MCM. I'll keep experimenting and see if I can replicate it later. I'm running EZ2C Dialogue mod but I don't think that's supposed to touch dialogue availability. In the meantime: HOLY EFFIN CRAP DO I LOVE THIS MOD!!!! Well worth the switch back to RND. And... well, pretty much everything else, really. One question: I use Pet Collar's Pet Stash as portable safe storage. Is that a container that NPC's can steal from? If not, I have a suggestion: I consider the Stash to be a sort of magickal, transdimensional bag that my pc can dip into. If it's magick, that means any type of wizard, necromancer, conjurer, etc. -- anybody who accesses the etheric plane -- should be able to take from it. Would it be possible to make it so that magick users could steal from that container but no one else? Say Tolfdir or Neloth -- or even Sanguine, if you're running SD+, since he's got that locker in the Dreamworld where your stuff goes when you get enslaved... In any case, fantastic mod. It is now, as you say, fucking entrenched in my load order.
Kalthen Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I tried begging with an SD master in tow. When the "beast option" came up... a nearby wolf got teleported to me. He got killed by the master before the SL animation could start. I tried it with SL Stop Combat without satisfaction. Next I'll try looking at my records in TES5Edit maybe there is something I can do there with the faction relations. I quite like the begging. It's become one of my favorite parts. Way better than the native SL Dialogue. I wish more would use that framework.

The dialogue, npcs and quest are unique so there shouldn't be any problem. But if you do figure it out let me know. So the slaverun rate doesn't take effect later is what you mean? thats something i never tried i set base toll to 40gold/lvl at a new game start => exiting whiterun (not enslaved city) the first time without talking to the toll collector and just paying toll via toll chest => was in a hurry and never talked to the toll collector at any visits and always used the toll chest (not enslaved city) (why talking to him 40 gold at any lvl is cheap enough =D) => at lvl 11 toll was still at 40gold => thats where even my cheap PC got sceptical => but talking the first time to a toll collector after 11 lvl didnt change a thing anymore guess i found a cheat ? EDIT: => toll/lvl works if talked to toll collector the first time, before using the toll chest the first time (cheat is only if pay first via toll chest than talk to toll collector) => SRR effect works too if toll/lvl wasnt messed up before

Clockwinding Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 @Monoman1 Found a pair of bugs : -number of devious devices equipped by toll is mcm amount -1. meaning i set it on 4 and equips 3 (only 3 in inventory, no invisible device i checked on console). no conflict because of double collar (harness+collar) happened either. happens 100% of the time for me. -toll option skooma/drugs never appears (using latest skooma whore, and SWaddicted plugin that adds a few scripts but doesnt change esp). any idea why? Otherwise great mod as always!

I had it only the very first time. Never appeared again. I even forgot about it being a part of the mod until now.

Lupine00 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I've been using this with DF. It sort of does the trick for me, so I'm happy it exists. Spoiler I haven't got Frostfall installed. I've played with Frostfall enough to find that it's not really well thought out for normal situations, never mind DCL + DF + SD+ The designers of vanilla didn't plan for it, and FF itself isn't polished enough to make the game much fun. Unless you really enjoy making camp fires and managing inventory lint. I see what you're aiming for with SLS, but I don't think it's finished enough yet. Perhaps making any follower a heat source (optionally in MCM) would solve some problems? RND doesn't interest me; played many games with it and got bored of that, moved to iNeed, got bored of that, moved to Minineeds, it was buggy. I use my own needs mod now, but it doesn't bother SLS, and SLS doesn't bother it For that reason, I have RND installed, but not started. This results in some modifications to disease that I can live with. The main thing I wanted from SLS was the toll feature, and the escort requirement. These do work, but there's room to enhance them a bit. I greatly enjoyed the initial dialogue with the toll collector, but was disappointed that there is no recap dialogue available. Also, toll collector fails to explain that you pay by clicking on the cash box tucked away in the corner - this made me think the mod was broken at first. The toll collector really could make that a bit clearer. It would be a big plus if you could talk to the toll collector and get re-insulted for being so dumb that you need to keep asking, and have him remind you how tolls work, and how to pay them. Also, the escort requirement could do with similar treatment to the above. Should be able to get dialogue that confirms your status: e.g. "Ah, I see you have an escort now. Pity it's a woman, both of you will be in chains within the week, stupid bitches, but I'll let you out anyway. The law is the law after all." "Ah, I see you have a dependable male escort now. Make sure you do as he says and you'll be fine. You'd still be better staying home and having babies though." "Ah, I see you are travelling with a group. There's safety in numbers, but don't go getting any stupid ideas." "Idiotic woman. Where's your escort? I can't let you out without one." Another wish, and this is more personal rather than basic usability, is a chance to bribe your way around needing an escort. e.g. "My escort will be along in a minute. You can let me through in the meantime though, can't you?" ... "Certainly, if you make it worth my while." You should have to pay cash plus a humiliating act/devices etc. to get out without follower(s). If you're using LAL, and start in a walled town, it can be hard (or impossible) to get a follower, blocking progress. So it might make sense to mention this in the tooltip. I assume you can simply set the requirement to zero in such cases and it immediately disables? The implementation as a locked door has some issues. I found my follower would not navigate through the door. They didn't reappear until I went into a building outside the city. Another problem with this is that Falkreath has no gates, and thus no tolls. I know Falkreath is barely a town in the first place, but this has the consequence of making Falkreath the default town of preference if you're using tolls and escorts. I think you could add a tax collector for Falkreath, who periodically shows up and demands money when you leave your house in the hold (if you have one). If you don't pay him off ... somehow ... you get a bounty. Players could then optionally enable this for player homes in other holds too. This would have the benefit of working even on mod-added player homes if you detect player-home-ness correctly. I can't speak to all the cum-related functionality, as I haven't used any yet. It sounds better than FHU or the DCL FHU-lite functionality, as they were always just a way to perma-break your character node scales without much gameplay benefit. However, the mouth open requirement could probably be made optional. Nine times out of ten a non-blowjob oral animation plays, the mod playing it intended a blowjob anyway, but accidentally picked lesbian, or whatever. If you look at tags, and it's got oral and not FF, and not explicitly tagged with something for furniture, it's probably a blowjob anyway. A perusal of tags could probably improve on this heuristic. The open mouth thing is way too fragile - there are so many things that can break that - like a ring gag, which would give a false positive. Interesting you considered it though. Please don't ever trust anything Apropos says, it's almost always wrong, and SLSF is hardly any better (and full of bugs and script load that achieves pretty much nothing useful in terms of gameplay). If I want annoying comments, I'll go for sexist guards, but it too has its problems. Still, looks like SG is on your radar, and I wouldn't complain if SLS added some support for it in some way. Might actually make it have a gameplay value.

You'll see from my earlier post that I was also getting this, and thought it was the default behaviour. I'm running a new clean game with SLS in it from the start, but toll collector has no dialogue after the first one. Also, SLS MCM does not come up at start. It took TWO save and loads and Jaxon's MCM kicker to make it show up. That's pretty hardcore not-showing-up MCM. I'm going to take a wild stab and say that the missing dialog is due to an empty alias. Flaky conditions CTD more often than not, so probably not that unless its alias related. The other obvious cause is that a periodic script didn't start up like you hoped. I'm seeing spews about None in my log, but I can't tell what mod is generating them. Could be SLS I suppose. Aliases that don't fill are often caused by mods that don't fill them but did once ... developer testing from a save rather than a new game. Another good way of getting them not to fill is a mod startup race condition. Or not starting the required quest at all because your SEQ data wasn't rebuilt. It's going to be something like that. Three people. A new game. It's not just a one-off bug. I'm pretty sure I can track the cause if I get a chance to look. Will see if I get time.

Doesn't matter in any case because the toll boxes activate just fine. My preferences for future development efforts: 1. More jobs for the "Please, I need help" dialogue. Suggestions (bearing in mind I may not have seen all of them that are already in there): nude dance, nude sweeping, beg a third NPC for sex/punishment, parade through town naked, whipping. 2. MORE KENNELS

When begging for clothes can you add skimpy clothes to the rewards? (for example the Minidress Collection) Beg for food, male npcs can feed you with cum. 1
