If blacksmiths aren't selling bikini armor, should you load survival after Requiem before patching?

 

Also, where can you buy map & compass? I checked in Bits and Pieces in Solitude, but they didn't have it.

* about map & compass:

you can find them in pawn shops everywhere, but the distribution is random, means you might be just unlucky with the first one, but the next might have 2 or more.

This is actually a great feature, because you will have to travel without the security of a map and prevents you to use fast travel (if you haven't deactivated anyways)

Also if you want to avoid cities - because of expensive licenses - you will have to life a bit longer in the wilds, but also you can't buy a map and compass easily.

 

* about bikini armor distribution:

I found them mainly in loot so far, rarely on traders, but I have those settings pretty low.

Distribution is random like map and compass.

Hope you have build a bikini distribution list in SLS MCM.

I'm following the tutorial, but when you say to copy " _SLS_BikiniArmor [KYWD:05049867]", its always 05 ? I mean in my load order in tesedit i have [07]SL survival.esp, so its not 07 ? (or even 64 or 3f, in hex, the place of SL survival in my full load order ?

As was said, it can be different. This is explained a little further down in the guide. All that matters is that you use your load order index for survival.

It adds the SexlabNoStrip keyword to a few armors that (IMO) are missing it. It stops conflicts when both hands are dismembered and you can't equip armor but it's an SD devious device so SD re-equips it and you end up getting a equip (SD), Unequip (SLS) loop.

Sounds like you need a TesEdit patch. See post #2, near the bottom.

AH shit...

now I remember, that was rather important >.<

I had the endless loop with DEC trying to equip an elbowbinder while amputated a lot.

But I doubt the patch would have helped right?^^

 

deinstalled it for now, but there is still the amputator emergency button,

wonder is it can save the day, if the loop is already in full gear ?

 

also thanks for the update, even if I didn't checked yet what it does, because i was just done with the SLS MCM settings ingame lol

Yea... It really does need an import/export settings. A scary proposition at this point though.

If you say it like that, it sounds like the sweeet sweeet save function is a pain in the ass to integrate ?

I always wondered why so many Mod MCMs are without a save function.

Although I see more and more mods have one.

Your rather quick in evolving SLS, if a save function slows you down and causes pain, I wouldn't mind to wait for it a lot longer

(even if I drool on MCM save functions as if they are candy ^^)

Staring Character gear.

Prison Uniform.

Radiant Prostitution Tavern Wear.

Etc Etc....

JUST THINKING: If it would be possible to need to have a licence or charged to use a work bench or tanning rack if they located in city. Or have to perform a task or pay blacksmith to use there equipment.

Ah when I mean easier I meant a teeny, tiny, smidgen easier. <pinches finger and thumb together>

Mostly just due to fixing bugs that were making things a little harder.

I'd agree. It's just figuring out a 'nice' way of doing it. I'll probably have to add keywords

Of course this means that you're going to have to do a lot of the heavy lifting (add the keywords yourself).

Rather than a licence it might be better to just base it on relationship. Friend = no problem, neutral = get away from that. I don't know much about relationships or how they function though tbh.

BTW @ anyone that knows.

 

Is there some way or a mod out there that levels up your followers correctly? My follower is gaining levels but not gaining stats = what's the point then beth....

I've my followers set to level at 1.5x times the player but it kind of defeats the purpose of escorts if you 'out-stat' them after leveling up a few times...

Nethers Follower Framework has been handling that well for me.  Follower stats are increasing, and can also be tweaked if desired in the MCM.  Or were you looking for a generic non follower framework way to fix the problem?

Cant speak for others but EFF has a "Training" function that I assumes recalculates the npc's stats if they've leveled since hiring them (they vanish and reappear after a brief moment, also fixes some animation issues with them), haven't actually tested that though, I have enough problems with finding followers that dont start far too strong for my liking.

Thanks. Might check it out and see how it works and maybe add it to survival. It's kind of important for the escort concept.

Thought that myself but didn't seem to do anything when I tried it.

Haha. I thought I was going fucking crazy for a minute. I was 100% sure I added it, tested it and everything else. I was just about to tell you to take it easy on the crazy juice and went in game to find it and tell you exactly where it was. And then I couldn't find it either lol. 

It turns out I DID add it. But then later I added some more options above it (cum effects) which pushed it out the 'bottom' of the Mcm - there's a limited number of lines. 

I'll have to rejig the Mcm a bit and probably create a new page or two. But tomorrow.

Pickpocketing could probably be its own page next to Bikini lists. And honestly the cum mechanics could probably be grouped into their own page too, would be good to have a dedicated space for them when the cum addiction system gets implemented.

 

edit: and unless more is planned for it the devious effects could probably be front page stuff it is only a toggle for the system and 2 settings currently

Got caught carrying a weapon without a license(got it as part of a delivery quest), and despite having a magic license in my inventory they equipped me with a cursed collar. So because I broke the rules my license stopped being effective or what?

Hmm who caught you with the weapon? was it your first time talking to a toll guard/enforcer?

 

do you still have the licence if so you should be able to go to the person that sells them to get the collar removed.
