For the Defeat options on the Player Post-Assault page, you can try un-checking the conditions for SS.  "Only Enemy Factions" can restrict the outcome a good bit.  You probably already did this, but if you're trying to get SS to fire, be sure that the other outcomes are turned off or set to zero.

I haven't had the time to read through the whole thread, so I apologize in advance if this is an issue that's already been addressed.

 

An odd thing happens whenever I have both Simple Slavery and Devious Framework installed.  When I have just one or the other installed, it works fine.  But whenever I try to install Framework alongside it Simple Slavery seems to just... disappear.  It doesn't show up in the MCM anymore, other mods that connect to Simple Slavery don't seem to recognize that it's installed anymore, it just seems to be gone.  The option in Devious Followers to connect to SS greys out as though it weren't installed, and when I was going through the list of alternate starts from LAL/CCAS the Simple Slavery start option wasn't there.

 

I made sure that I installed the version of Simple Slaver that has the patch for Devious Framework, but nothing changes.  The obvious solution here I suppose is to uninstall DFW, but Devious Framework is the only way I've found to disable the weird interaction where any kind of leg restraint prevents you from wearing chest armor, and I'd really prefer to be still be able to armor up even when my character gets stuck in pony/ballet boots.  The only real clue I can find for what's going on is that Vortex is trying to tell me that "Simple Slavery with Devious Framework 6.04 Patch.7z" is redundant, so I think I picked up the wrong file somewhere along the line.

I have the same problem, but with the normal Simple Slavery (so it seems to be a Problem related more to defeat than SS).

 

I got it to work once at least, but I have no idea what caused it to work in the first place. 

I suspect a load order problem. I also installed Simple Slavery on a running save because I forgot to check it before starting the new game (aaaargh, I hate configuring MCMs soooo much :D) 

 

So as for you:

- did you install Simple Slavery on an existing save? 

- where is Simple Slavery in Load order (before or after Defeat)?

Dunno if this is related to the problem at all, but maybe it helps.

For what it's worth, I have SS loading after Defeat.  I've installed (not upgraded, just installed) it on an existing game; I don't think there's any problem with that.  I'm not running any other defeat type mod right now (damoyl, SD+, DiD), so that nothing tries to fight for control of the game, but others have successfully done so with proper configuration settings.

I've got SS loading after Defeat, and yes I installed SS on an existing save so that may be causing some issues. Honestly defeat always acts a bit wonky for me so maybe I'll try some other stuff around. Thanks y'all, if i figure it out I'll let ya know

Updating to 6.04 seems to be causing a CTD on launch for me. Kind of odd, it was working before

Correction, the version of 6.02 done by Roggvir seems to be the only one working for me

This process works reliably for me, if I follow it exactly:

 

Turn rape mods off, so they don't trigger in the slave market.

coc sslv_market

Give NPCs a few seconds to settle into their positions.

stopquest simpleslavery

resetquest simpleslavery

Talk to the slave master, Randall.

 

You should see one or two "What am I doing here?" dialog lines.

If there are two, choose the longer one:  "What...what's going on? Why am I here?"

The shorter line, which gives you a chance to be defiant, tends to not work.

 

Remember to turn rape mods back on after you're sold.

Correct, you only need Simple Slavery Plus V6.04 Installer.7Z.  The patches were for upgrading from an earlier version.  The 6.04 installer supports installations with and without Devious Framework (not the same thing as Devious Devices), just choose the options that apply to you.

Not sure if you have it already, but Death Alternative may solve the problem. Every time one of my characters has been sent there was via the blackout outcome, both after a Defeat event as well as from straight up losing a fight.

Posted on Devious followers but for now I'm not going to be modding for a while (unless bad stuff happens) I may add a update for chain beasts tie in when I get a chance! or a way to make the mod usable w/out an author before I 100% quit modding but can't promise anything!

Is it possible next update to flag the SS+ auction as interior cell?

Mods that spawn hostiles or run events in exterior cell only will recognize SS+ auction as exterior, with bad consequences.

(sadly that might be true the other way around too, but atm it's only a SLp issue)

lucky event: SLphormones does its thing in SS+ and no harm is done (happy ending is rare)

not so lucky event: SLp creatures break the SS+ scene => needs reload (regular issue)

often on my actual setup: CTD if SLp spawns creatures in SS+, especially if a savegame gets loaded in SS+ (100%)

 

emergency solution: delete SLp creature as soon as possible after spawn => via console or jaxconz positioner

Turn on the debugger, it should tell you what kind of cell it is before the attack starts.

 

A little more technically, it gets the location based on the keyword property:

So an interior that has no location type keyword property assigned will return null, which is the same as Wilderness.

But it is an interior cell.

Edit:  Tyrant99 just posted a clarification of what "interior" means:

SSLV_Market has no Location, so the Pheromones mod treats that as Wilderness.  Assigning the cell a location would solve that, and might benefit other mods as well.

Just updated my own copy.  I decided to go with LocTypeStore (with RiftenLocation as parent location) since it is a market, of sorts, and a store seemed least likely to trigger location-dependent behavior from other mods.

Check the keywords referenced in the script, you will want to use one of those, Store wasn't in there.

Hi, I use NMM. I also use defeat and Devious Devices. The plugins for simple slavery plus and the compatibility patch aren't showing up. I've tried to uninstall them in order to reinstall them, but when I try to uninstall them, they won't go away from the mod page on NMM. Is there something I can do, or am I just fucked?

Not stuipd, it's a bit confusing.

You need just the v6.04 version, comes with a FOMOD.
