I haven't had the time to read through the whole thread, so I apologize in advance if this is an issue that's already been addressed.
An odd thing happens whenever I have both Simple Slavery and Devious Framework installed. When I have just one or the other installed, it works fine. But whenever I try to install Framework alongside it Simple Slavery seems to just... disappear. It doesn't show up in the MCM anymore, other mods that connect to Simple Slavery don't seem to recognize that it's installed anymore, it just seems to be gone.
