No. At the very least it would also need to be changed in the settings related to Looksmenu (gender is designated there). And I'm pretty sure that even then it wouldn't work because the way the skins are mapped onto females and males is different. I think they need to be built from scratch separately for each gender.
fred200 Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I would love to see someone confirm f4se_0_06_10 is working with AAF V78 alpha (fomod) and AAF - Compatibility Patches V2.6. For me with coc qasmoke (to avoid save game issues), nothing is working. I get the Warning AAF API not found, but no debug messages and Home key does not work. Only thing that changed from the working AAF 77 is the Bethesda update and updated plugins. Fixed. Leaving this up as a warning to others. My problem was using the f4se_0_06_10 installer, thinking it would do everything. I had to go back and download the zip file version, and let Vortex install that. That picked up the scripts, and all seems happy now. Still get the AAF API not found message, but nothing important is broken.

I know it's possible in Skyrim, but is it in Fallout 4? What about matching in sounds and voices with animations? Will you do it with a tagging system or something similar so you can match up races with certain voices or animations with certain sounds? It's really great you did this separate from a 'sex only' framework. Hopefully gets used for a whole lot of features. Edit: NVM found the wiki. Sweet. The expressions released yet? It's mentioned on the Wiki, but didn't see how it's supposed to be implemented anywhere.

That could take multiple forms. Someone can focus on the expressions and maintain an XML for it that others can download and tie into. Or, makers of animation packs can make their own expression XML files for their animations. The ability to have actors "say" topics is also already added. It is implemented the same way as expressions. Also, I have not been able to test that feature directly because I'm not really sure what setup is required to allow an actor to say a topic. I just run the command and rely on others to do that setup or let me know how it works... 2

Interestingly enough, most animations seem to work, but Dave's poses don't with this error. I've tried it now on 3 different saved games, and (as you can tell from the picture) a new game.......

That message isn't coming from AAF. I think that was set up in the test version of RSE. If you can start an animation by rolling over an actor with the crosshair and pressing F11, then the API is there and working ok.

A few seconds later, I was startled when my character made a gurgling sound and sank to the ground, dead. I hadn't noticed the warning sound of my Rad-X wearing off! LOL Guess you had to be there. Anyway, glad this was fixed.

Newer versions will no longer offer support for FO4 prior V1.10.98 and F4SE prior V0.6.10.

No. 79 doesn't work with older versions. That CTD happens because it uses a looksmenu function that was only fixed in the latest release.

The AAF API error message is an issue related from the last version of RSE. I do recommand you to not merge alot of mods while using AAF. At least, try a clean install of AAF and all of its native components and then install your mods ONE BY ONE until you encounter an error and skip this mod.
