if you manage to find the offending mod(s), then please let us know because such informations help as well.

I did find one thing in common with a lot of the offending mods after looking at them in FO4Edit...Every single one of them that outright refuses to strip in AAF adds some kind of SPECIAL perk, typically to perception, charisma, agility, or luck, although some affect movement speed and jump height.  Would that affect the doppleganger?  Because if so, they are right out.

Edit:  Let me explain what occured when I saw the 'spells' added to the armors...AAF scans the PC, and from that scan, builds a doppleganger with the appropriate armor/clothing slots removed.  Is it possible that it cannot build the doppleganger without the armor because the SPECIAL stats would be different?  How dagonbaking does what he does is beyond me, but I do like a puzzle.  For all I know I am totally barking up the wrong tree, but it is a pattern that jumped out.  In the case of a full Dickey's Bombshell ensemble, the sum of your SPECIAL stats deviate by as many as 12 or so, and EasyGirl really stacks on Charisma.  It doesn't seem logical that this would affect the doppleganger, but clarification would let me cross it off the list.

I do not have any FP in any form installed, but when I hit the HOME key to bring up, it summons a new person, nude and the menu doenst open.  This used to happen in FP when you needed to hit the home key to switch actors, it would summon a nearby person.  I hit it again and then it will open, but SOMETIMES after hitting it the second time it will summon another person.  SO.. I start animations though testing it out..and the up and down arrow keys stop working to cycle through positions.  I am also having an issue with FPE AAF in that it is telling me it still requires FP.  SO, I dont know if I missed downloading something to make that one work, I am also using the RSE that is for AAF.  I tried changing the hot key for AAF and it doesnt work at all, even after I change it it still makes me hit the home key.  Not sure how to proceed or what to check.

Edit:  well I answered one of my own issues, found in another post by changing some keyword FP for AAF doesnt work with the current version of AAF.  But the HOME key issue I can find nothing on it.  Guess for now I can just solicit through RSE and make money at it with no worries of getting pregnant haha <.<

Edit II:  DOF was the issue with the home button... I forgot to remove it.  <.<  Now I do have the AFF FP installed, cant configure it in MCM but I still get fertile notifications and stuff...not sure if thats an RSE function or not though.

Considering FPE you most probably need config.json. Posted by @fedim in RSE thread page 371. but you should simply google fedim rse config.json and you will find it. manually copy into FPE folder

Tera's mods don't work in AAF for me either, I have found out.  At this point in testing, pretty much anything added via .esp and manufactured in the Chem station doesn't really like to play, while texture replacers work perfectly.  I haven't tried any Jane Bod mods as of yet, and I don't have Atomic Beauty installed at all, so I don't know if this is a CBBE error or a Chem Station thing.

So far, Dicky's Bombshell, HN's EasyGirl, Absolutely Skimpy Attire, TERA's Rogue, Nurse, Pirate, Business Casual and Punk, Honest Abe's Armor Series, Deathclaw Hunter, and Red Dress are the mods that exhibit problems.  All of 2Pac's and Lazman's replacers work flawlessly, and I did see stripping with one of Fortaleza's suits (the MK IV, but only ran one test and that was only the 33 body slot 'Full' outfit, not the modular pieces, which are still untested) and I have a few more to test as soon as Life stops intruding.

Edit: *grumble* it is Dicky's PINUP mod (one of the outfits is called 'bombshell'...sorry for any confusion...a man needs more sleep)

any of the Cross gear as well as TheKite gear dont really play nice either which is rather upsetting..

about the chem station thing... The Mercenary pack which wont strip either is crafted at the armor workbench not the chem station

I'll have to look to be sure, because you know as soon as I act like I know something I'll find that I'm full of shit, but I've been using Tera Rogue and Tera Punk as well as Easy Girl and they usually strip for me. Occasionally I'll see items left from Easy Girl, like the skirt or whatnot but not often.

*I just checked and it is working. Polistro also offers an XML that he used to strip super mutants during testing and it will get everything, so if worse comes to worse you can give that a try . . . (I dunno if I did the link right or not. You can find it on his page of patches for Leito and Crazy animations around the middle of the list.

When I bring up the AAF menu, I keep getting popup errors that say things like "actor not found" and "location not found." It happens pretty much any time I scroll through the names in the AAF menu list. After selecting the other actor in the menu, they started to walk towards me, undress, then the screen fades to black and the game gets stuck in an infinite loading screen before just outright crashing.

The two I keep seeing are 'AAF ERROR: [005] Actor ID "20" Not Found' and 'AAF Error: [005] Actor ID "1057353" Not Found.' And I also see "Location ID 20 Not Found" another Location Not Found for different IDs.

I dont see any way that SPECIAL would affect anything. More likely to do with slots affected, scripts that the equipment runs or invisible equipment control objects. May be worth asking those mod authors to clarify what their mod needs to equip or unequip.

Thanks!  It didn't seem logical that the stat would be the culprit, but the scripts adding them might be.  I'll cross that off the list and see if I can get Dickyftw to shed some light.  I know next to nothing about invisible equipment control objects, so this might be a good time to learn, but being self taught is hard when the teacher is an idiot.  Can anyone point me towards the correct literature?

I had this problem on one of the earlier builds, and it pissed me off, but it turned out that after modding and remodding the game so many times, I had borked it up somehow.  Uninstall to basic, have Steam verify your files (yeah, you have to clean them again in FO4Edit), reinstall your basic mod setup and following the AAF installation guide to the letter.  That fixed it for me and I haven't seen it since, and I think Alpha 79 is the third incarnation of AAF I have used since that point.

I'm not sure how the invisible objects are used either. But, I was told that they are used with Devious Devices. So, I assume that other equipment makers may be doing something similar.

AAF isnt doing anything novel with the equipment. Simply equipping or unequipping and moving between characters via the vanilla Papyrus commands. Maybe there is something that can be done on those armors that make them able to be equipped/unequipped that way.

Cool...excellent...do you have any of the other mods I mentioned installed?  Which EasyGirl version are you using?  This means there is a potential conflict with one of the mods I have installed that is messing with the scripts, and if I can isolate it, I can figure out how to fix it.  I use Easygirl HN66 v 5.01 with the B patch, and I added the physics file as well to use with the Diamond city expanded patch (which means that is a whole hoo ha of mods involved)

That is the way it looked to me as well.  Basically, you built a skeleton, layered on the body, covered it with the texture, and assigned CK biped slots, and anchored it to furniture...simple freaking elegant genius.  I was almost positive it was not something AAF was doing wrong, because it is flawless in an otherwise unmodded setup.  Things only got weird when I when I started adding in weapon/armor/sexytime mods and expansions.  After you answered my question about SPECIAL stats (because I had this wild thought that you might have just made a copy paste of the PC, stats and all, but that didn't fit with my earlier view of the skeleto-body rig), I know it has to be something one (or several) of the other mods I use is doing, and those mods must be punis...er, fixed.

I really hope there is a simple fix for this..But this is kinda odd seeing how all these armors that wont strip for AFF did in fact get removed for FP as well as the CWSS mod

I did a google search and saw that an older version (78) had fixed the glitch for someone else in an older post. So I followed the guide from scratch, reinstalled everything, but the difference is that I used version 78 instead of 79. I'm still getting the exact same errors, but at least now the game doesn't crash. The animations and sounds play, although I can't end the animation, because hitting the End key says gives an error, something about invalid exit animation or something.

@dagobaking  I DID find one mod that presents some funny issues, but it is not something anyone should worry about too deeply.  The mod Strip Cube produces some really hysterical animations sometimes.  Triggering the Home key and selecting an actor who is either in the cube's influence area, or one who has to walk through said area leads to the actor sometimes stripping, sometimes not, sometimes redressing in the middle of the deed.  This is just from script overload, I think (and the reason why I test anything AAF in a whole other settlement), and doesn't seem to affect actors who have been stripped by the Build Your Own Pool mod (still need to test that one out more thoroughly).  The Strip Cube mod's author does warn on the mod page that placing two cubes too close together would lead to npc's exhibiting frequent moments exhibitionism in the areas between them, so one can divine why AAF would behave thusly.  I don't believe this is fixable (if it can even be called an error in the first place due to the nature of Strip Cube's function), but I figured I had better put this out there in case anyone stumbles across it and pitches a hissy.

Me too.  It might be related to the way the physics are applied to the armors (probably not, but it is on the list to test), or to some of the other scripts attached to these armors.  I have NMM changing over to my basic AAF profile (base game, base body mods like CBBE, Compendium, etc.., workshop items, texture overhauls and such).  From there, I can make very basic setups for the mods I have problems with to test each one individually.  If they fail in the most basic setup, that is something the mod authors will have to address.  If they pass, I can test them in conjunction with more extensive armor/clothing setups.  From there, I test the survivors with and without physics, and then on to adding in the extraneous mods for the oh so salty adult version I like to play.  At some point, I WILL find a conflict, and if it IS in the scripts, then it is patchable, but that does require someone with a little more knowledge than I have...but that is something the LL community seems to have in abundance.

FP doesn't do the same things as AAF. AAF moves the equipment from one actor to another and back. Some equipment mods seem to do something extra that prevents this.

Something is still wrong with your game. This isnt an AAF issue. Sounds like outdated or incorrectly installed F4SE. Or maybe some other mod overwrote a plugin script.

Will add those other two to the testing list.  Easy Girl is already first on the list.  I'll try it unpatched first, and step in the other files one at a time, I have the Lacy Underwear mod on my HD already, I think.

It does, because I am, so that means it most likely is not a physics issue, though I will still test it out...'most likely' still isn't 'definitely'.  Anything/everything that works up to that point most probably would still work with physics.
