Best to test Wicked + Animations alone with everything else removed first to eliminate the possibility of something else causing problems.

Then delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder after changing your Mods folder contents.

Just don't make any new saves with mods removed if you're using an old save game just exit when done testing.

 

If the issue persists try doing a Game Repair next and load up a new save game.

A click or shift click can take literally minutes to pop up the pie menu - if it pops up at all. I have full zoom/camera control, can even jump into build mode instantly, but can do little else.

I originally thought it was an issue with the number of NPCs in one animation (huge NPC orgies were going on, lol), so I reduced the max NPCs/Autonomous sex participants to 8 in WW prefs, but then it happened with  player initiated sex with 6. So that didn't help.

The last time it happened, I tried running "ww.stop_all_sex" from the console, but even that took several minutes to actually run the command, and even though it stopped the sex and reset the sims/NPCs to one spot, I was not able to get control back or save cleanly. This was at a club meeting in the Bluffs, so no cc objects. It also happens at Solar Lounge, and the Blue Velvet bar in Willow Creek.

 

I don't think it's ever happened on any residential lots.

The only animations I'm currently running have been recently updated (and far fewer than what I used to be able to run with no problem).
Mods/anim folders (less than 80 each clothes/objects):

My previous anim folder had 30+ animation packages without any issues.

Aside from this recent problem, TS4 never crashes or hangs.

I could live with this if there was a QUICK way to reliably kill animations and recover from it.

I'm sure there only like 3 Mac users here but I'm wondering if this has been happening to anyone else or on PC.
 

Yeah, I'm one of the probably few Mac users and I haven't been having any issues. One of the differences is I don't run a lot of scripts period, just WW and AEP. I have mine set for two people in sex animations because I don't care for having big sex piles so I haven't run into that problem. Give what @Scorpio said a try.

Yeah everything in my mods folder is fresh and newly downloaded from after I updated the game the other day. I also repaired the game after the update and deleted thumbcache as a matter of habit and houskeeping.

It does seem like an odd problem... when it hangs, the animations (even the orgies) continue to run smoothly. Non-sexing NPCs stand idling. Pan/zoom/rotate remain very smooth, no stuttering or frame issues at all. Invoking build mode with the function key is instantaneous as well (although, weirdly, the animations continue to run in build mode). It doesn't feel like a CPU thing, but I could check my numbers.

 

Thanks for the TMEX tip, I guess I can ditch that.
I'll try a WW only and/or a clean save and see what happens. If I can't figure it out, I guess I'll just have to remember to save every time I enter any lots.

Hi, since the last update (1.81.72) it throws me an error when starting a game, "photo" and asks me to restart the game, I remove the mod from the folder and it works, I have the latest version of the mod, any ideas for a solution?

You say you're using the latest release of WW, but the file you've attached says otherwise,

Granted, it is a few days old, so it might not be accurate.

 

Anyhoo, the 102 error happens when there's broken CC/mods in your game.

A lot of people seem to have that issue because they've got Secretcrush's realpussy/3Dpussy installed if I got the name correct, so check for that.

I've noticed sims on their periods no longer use tampons or pads....the grey moodlet for using either no longer shows up and one has to manually select the tampon or pad in the sims inventory and click on wear to get them to use them....don't get the dripping blood alert that used to pop up if your sim wasn't wearing one.

Also, I have the latest version of WW installed and I always discard the old files before updating them.

Wicked Attractiveness and Sims looks have no effect over whether Sims will have sex or not.

 

There are a few other ways to stop all the random sex autonomy but it would help if you could be more specific on what exactly you want.

I would like attractiveness to matter. I remember that sims used to refuse sex sometimes and it seemed like there was corelation between accepting/refusing and attractiveness/wicked traits/relationship etc. I like the sex autonomy, but I don't like that my npc-sims always accept sex.

Not much to control over random sex other than using settings to require sims to have higher relationships.

Wicked Settings > Sex Settings > Autonomy Settings > Autonomy Specifics:

NPC Sims Relationship Modifier: (set to -5.0 to -15.0 and NPC-NPC sims must have higher relationship for sex autonomy)
Player to NPC Sims Relationship: (same as above, and positive numbers = less refusals)

 

Or use the WW Asking for Sex Dialogs so sims ask first and you can tell them NO.

(Doesn't work for NPC-NPC autonomy)

Wicked Settings > Sex Settings > Autonomy Settings > Asking for Sex Settings:

Enable all that apply.

 

I know it's rather distracting having that message pop up all the time but it's the only way to allow autonomy but still be able to refuse manually with your Player Sim.

Hi, I have an issue (actually posted it as a post first, but maybe I will find help here faster - sorry, I'm new)

After installing Wicked Whims mods yesterday everything worked fine. Today I can't have any sex interactions, only watch porn. I can enter all WW settings but clicking on bed, sofa, anything - no interaction, between any sims (regardless of sex, gender or age).
When trying romantic > make a move, pop-up shows saying "there is no good spot to have sex" (or something like this)
In strip club everything seems to be working fine, except in last scenes of lap dance sims are moved from the chair and interaction end (like when furniture is moved by moveobjects when Sim is using it).

I reinstalled WW mod, I have some animations installed as well. I've checked all options, but I can't make it working. Does anyone have solution what can be a problem here?

A few others here have had the same problem so it might possibly be a bug unless they'res another Mod causing it.

 

Keep in mind I'm still on Game Version 1.81 and WW version 166d and don't have any issues like that.

 

Reverting back to WW version 166d might be worth trying though.

How to go back? I have Sims online most of the times, so maybe it was updated. I'm not familiar how to go back to previous version. About mods - low probability, I'm not using a lot of those.

Since it's a fairly new issue I suspect the Game update might have caused some problems with a few WW users but the problem is once you update your game you can't really go back.

 

TURBO is currently working on a fix for something else I think so not sure what you can do other than trying WW version 166d if you still have it in your recycle bin.

 

But since this issue is so new so there hasn't been any confirmation of a bug or a fix yet.

 

I have Origin automatic game updates disabled and play offline mostly and when WW notification pops up for an update I just ignore it for a bit unless I'm having problems.

Always better to wait for a week or more before updating anything and keep at least one previous version of WW stored away in case you need to roll back.

I'm having the same problem; been trying to find the previous version - as that worked fine for me - does anyone know where to find the previous versions file?

Some reasons for the error....this is from turbodriver.

• There are no Sims within the 16 units radius or no Sims on the lot your Sim is on. A unit is the width of one tile.
• With the selected location and sex category, there are no animations that match your Sim gender + any male gender.
• With the selected location and sex category, there are no animations that match your Sim gender + any female gender.
• The age of your Sim doesn't allow to match with other Sims. Teen only matches Teen, Adult+ only matches other Adult+.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims is currently going to have sex/watch porn. If they aren't, they could have stuck data that can be fixed by running the "ww.fix" command but that indicates some other issue.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims are unavailable (sleeping, rabbit hole, possessed, dying, in labor, window peeping, or leaving)
• All nearby Sims are event/vendor NPC Sims.
• Your Sim or all nearby Sims are currently in their mermaid form.
• Your Sim and all nearby Sims create an incestuous relationship.

Ok don't know if this is a bug or I'm doing it wrong but my sim wont use a tampon or pad when her period starts she always gets the uncomfortable/dripping blood moodlet even though she has tampons in her inventory.

Are you supposed to unwrap one ready to use? and yes the box is unpacked....I have use toilet turned off and the pad/tampon is set to realistic use.
