It gets recreated whenever you load the game and it only needs to be deleted when removing or updating mods.

So it can't be deleted forever.

okay so i've run the repair and deleted the pack and still the mods won't stay enabled, is there anything else i can try?

Look in your TS4 folder for a file named gameversion.txt and see what it contains.

If you did the Origin Repair on the latest patched game it should be v1.69. something.

Sometimes the game doesn't update everything properly.

 

Delete your Gameversion.txt file

 

Then find and edit your Options.ini file with the two following entries and save when done.

 

scriptmodsenabled = 1

 

modsdisabled = 0

 

Then delete your localthumbcache.pkg again.

 

Wicked Whims also has a new fixed version released now BTW.

This appeared on my sim after downloading the updated wicked whims and wicked perversions. It disappears when I go into CAS but I can't make it go away.

No more pitch black penises! You're required to enable 'Uncompressed Sim Textures' and disable 'Laptop Mode' in Graphics Settings.

I'm mentioning this specifically as making all of the skin tones work is a temporary solution that's not ideal. It might not be the most efficient or pretty solution, but you shouldn't be able to tell anything is different, although some potential issues might occur.

Just notifying. Repaired the game, renewed the documents>Electronic arts>sims 4 folder. No conflicting mods. Graphic settings are on ultra (because I’m particularly blind). Laptop won’t run the game without laptop mode regardless of mods or not. I’ve got 8gb ram, 4 fully functional processors and 7 powerful fans on a 17” inch laptop. Portraits are still bugged. Even on action panel. I’m going to use the last version because I only had slight problems. Thank you for working hard.

After I installed WickedWhims v162a, I've got endless loading screen after I selected a household to play.

But when I deleted the latest WW mod and installed the previous version instead, everything worked fine.

So I think this is exactly the problem of this latest WW mod.

After updating the mod the sex got borked for me
Sims go into action, everything goes as normal and then something breaks and WW attempts to reset the sex interaction repeatedly to no avail. Stopping current\all sex instances thru the notification that pops up stops the sex but makes sims unavailable(with rare exeptions) aka they just stand there un-able to do anything, no actions go thru, they don't even show up in the que, other sims are also unable to interact with stuck sims. Loading previous save doesn't help and the problem of unavailable sims persists somehow.
It doesn't give me any errors or lastExeptions though. The only LastExeption I have is this one, but I am 90% sure it's for some other thing
I also have Nisa's WP and in all three instances at least one sim had traits\aspirations or engaged in prostitution from that mod.

The only other thing I have is the "Reset Triggered" instances from the WW log.
Things that come before the Reset change somewhat, but what comes after the reset is always the same. It attempts to reset every 2-3 seconds.

Would really appreciate any help with this, thank you.

My theory is the new WW version has special graphics requirements that many computers don't support.

More of a hardware, graphics card setting, or possibly drivers.

Might even be related to the graphics card brand.

Sims 4 keeps disabling the Mods on start. I have the latest WW mod and all that's in the Sims4 mod folder is the resource file and the WW folder. I have followed the instructions on manual installation.  Everything worked fine up until Sim4 updated to latest version. I have removed all the animation packages. Still the game disables mods even with only the WW folder in the documents/EA/Sims4/Mods folder.

 

Any thoughts?

Heard deleting the "GameVersion.txt" file might fix your issue.

You should also edit the Options.ini file in your TS4 folder and change two file entries.

Save it when finished.

Thank you both for the replies. GameVersion.txt file was showing the previous version. Also it was showing the "modsdisabled =1" which was changed as per instructed and POOF! WW showed up after going through the WW website installation procedure again. Thanks again Husk and Scorpio!

My wicked whims skin is working except the Profile sim is bugging out now. You know the thing in the corner. What do you do with that?

Remove all files with "cache" in their name from your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 directory and reload the game. Should hopefully fix that.
