This is still very vague. Did you enable script mods again after updating? What do you mean by its not working?

The zip file that has the latest version of whims keeps deleting itself. I have tried basically everything Ive looked up on Google and what I can think of and it still happens.  This issue does not occur when I download anything else.  I do not have Windows 10 2004 installed.  Is there some methods I can use to have it not delete itself?

Pretty sure this is being caused by your virus software. You need to tell it that LL is a safe site.

I turned it off, and used multiple sites like nexus and itch.io to download. It still gets removed from my pc.

It redirects me to the website and I have to chose from itch.io and nexus, which neither work

Ok so the only virus software I have is the windows defender and I disabled that. I also disabled the virus scan on chrome. Neither of those worked. The amount of things i have tried that did not work has floored me. ?

Ok. i got it done. there was an antivirus thing i did not even know i had and i just disabled it. I can download it fine now. Thanks for the help! : )

Ok... Really hoping someone can help!

 

I have been playing Sims over on my laptop, and got a new gaming desktop only a week before Eco Lifestyle. So I installed all 15G of Sims onto the desktop, Everything works fine, but I can't play without my mods these days!

 

I installed WW and it worked okay, though without animations installed. Pretty sure I got an LE at this point but the game seemed fine, and I exited to source animations. None of the animations would work, and when selecting sex, I'd get no animations list and it wouldn't progress any further. After lots of trial and error, trying to figure out which animations were causing the issue, I removed them all. Still getting the LEs (CONSTANTLY) when they engage in sex, but the sims will do reverse cowgirl and kissing, but then it freezes and crashes. 

 

Two LEs below.

 

"WickedWhims_v155f_Exception.txt" is what I get when I have animations installed but it doesn't find them. (Also had some LittleMsSam mods that I have since removed.) 

 

"lastException.txt" is what I get when I remove all animations and just have base WW. 

 

Also have Basemental (updated), Nisa (updated), MC Command Centre (updated). MCCC worked fine before I added WW, but then I did add Nisa, WW, and Basemental at the same time.

I've updated all the animations I have the latest version of ww I deleted all the mods that require ww the animations wont work and they're all up to date. Can someone help me?

But you are also missing a WW menu text, so maybe a bad WW download or duplicate Wicked files?

 

Other mods like UICheats can mess with menus sometimes if you also have that mod installed.

 

The warnings are unknown due to no text so check to see if you have a lastexception.txt or a WickedWhims***exception file in your TS4 folder and post it here using the 

paperclip thing below when you post a reply.

mine still broken. for moths now.  game keeps thinking i dont have file  but i do have file.

Please post your game version first if you want more help.

 

Some of the better mods like Wicked Whims can detect non-legal copies of the game and refuse to run.

Thanks, it's actually 1.63.134.1020 but close enough.

 

One of those files is not loading.

Since your error report says the tuning file is missing this is the '.package' file which is considered  a mod.

The WW script file is trying to load, or find, the .package file.

 

You have to make sure in your EA game settings/other menu that you have the "mods" box enabled.

And the scripts box too of course.

Then hit apply changes on the tab below.

You have to then exit and restart the game.

 

 

If you have, or had, any other cc mods installed they probably would not work either.

But if you do have other working mods that are loading then the problem is way over my head.

Hello everyone!

 

I downloaded the latest patch and after updating all of my mods I started the game, which is running fine. I have WW 1.55g, MCCCD and a lot of small mods, all updated to the latest patch as well. I haven't tried any interaction with my own Sim yet using WW yet, but I tried to make two random townies having sex near a café I was visiting and this error happened. Any idea what could be wrong?

 

ETA: I just saw WW was updated to 155h, I have been playing for over 5 hours testing all mods so I might have missed that. I'll update this post if the error persist.

It's possible the two random sims you picked were leaving or had another task in their que.

Think I'd try some other testing methods just to be sure.

If their genders don't match up, or they have other risk factors, they can be considered 'not viable' sex partners and fail.

This is usually the reason you get a blank menu for selecting an animation.

 

You might have to go through all your WW settings again because when you update WW some of the settings go back to defaults I think.

Unless you can import saved settings from a previous versions export.

Thanks for the tip, I did re-download yesterday before asking, and it was still downloading as f. I'm guessing it's been updated since. Will have to download and try when I get home.

Yeah, I tried without all other mods except MC CC (which was working fine) but it still had the issue. I guess it was just waiting for the new update to fix bugs? The new expansion was released at midday here, so I had time to jump on immediately, whereas in other countries people were likely asleep or unavailable.
