Alright, first, thank you for doing this mod.  I loved DCL on Skyrim, so this is nice to finally get around to playing.   That said, small problem right off the bat.   It might be my fault, but I'm not sure.  When I remove the hobble skirt in Vault 111 two things happen.   1. I stay hobbled.   I can go into first person and move normally, stealth, etc just fine.  However, in third person I go back into the awkward semi T-pose and hop around and stealth puts me in a full on T pose and freezes me in place.   2. Even if I have combat surrender off, I am automatically forced to surrender even if all the rad roaches are dead.  Any ideas on how to fix these issues?

1) T poses fix - put back some hobble dress, exit to inventory, hobble a 5 sec., return to inventory and take if off.

2) Combat surrender by rad roaches - there is bug or DCW feature -

Feature: if you wear a suit - then you surrender with a first hit. Only exception is on early game while you run belted! quest - then you not surrender with first hit, but it cause a surrender bug - if rad roaches hit you - DCW combat surrender remember that hit. And it's trigger when you take off this cloth. 

And second bug - suit count catsuit too - that means even if you can fight - you surrender with one hit because you wear a suit and combat surrender thinks that you are in heavily bondage. 

Both bugs haven't a fix - i do it my own game by changing a original DCW scripts and adding to DD new keyword what allows skip surrender if you wear a catsuit similar suits.

I have these exact same issues!

This fixed the hobble bug for me, thank you.

As for the combat surrender as soon as you loose the dress, I had extra restraints added to my character, so I typed "player.showinventory" in the console, got the id's of the new restraints, and then did "player.removeitem XX" to all of the newly added restraints.

That's not a good idea, for several reasons, not least of which is needing to remove the equipped item, and potentially fucking with DD/DCW's scripts.
While functional enough, these are quite old, and not the most robust scripts ever made, not to mention it's likely to keep the anim changes from when you've had the items equipped. As likely happened the first time you got that bug.

fair, i probably should have just spawned in a key and then deleted it afterwards. though luckily it seems like no glitches has resulted in this

Keys should remove on use, I think.
Or just have em removed on DCW triggering or Violate starting :D

Don't forget a save before it. Keys can broke and even broke lock - you need later it repair before use new key.

But last thing is very rare in dd difficulty bugged version.

Also not work option with key access difficulty. - in theory and practices as Kimy plan - some devices can't access to keyhole as straitjackets - if i remember right difficulty is 65% to reach or even 95% (5% to success reach keyhole) - but don't worry it's not work in bugged version.

I started a new game with this mod but at the start in the "Belted" quest, as soon as i pick up the items from the chest (the one with the knife that lets you cut the hobbledress), the game goes into a loading screen and it keeps loading infinitely. Is there something im missing?

thats normal so far ... it should give you the feeling that there are others in the shadows who apply items on your body ... If you hit some keys you should get out of this screen.

If you dont want that to happen you can always type into the console "dcw_enableCombatSurrender 0"

I tried this mod. its far less finished than Skyrim version.
Worse part its game logic is bugged. If Player equipped mittens, cant use items, cant pick money, cant buy key. You cant add money with console!. NPC has no dialogs to help get out.

 

If you got mittens in dangerous location you are dead. Now im spend 2 hours to find way to remove mittens and dont break my game. Its disaster..


I respect mod author, great job with Skyrim, but Falout 4 version should be marked as alpha, WIP or something, and clearly put text description that mod is not finished and will make problems. Im really sorry that was so dumb to use this mod (

 

Find way to get out this nasty mod. Used MCM config, and set 100% key drop chance in script text (edit with notepad). To get key from container you must take one item from it and key will generated, it you just opend box - NO KEYS (yes one more bug).

If you read more carefully scripts text you'll find that keys and items generates only in new containers. If you already take key from container you need some count of other unique containers to force key drop from container what you just open.

For edit setting you don't need scripts - you need set global variables. If global variables can't be set in console - your fallout 4 is damaged or DCW not correct installed.

You also don't have to take the keys either.  If you already have some, why take more just to lose them?

 

They will sit in that box till respawn.

Agree but container can disappear, vanilla FO4 can refresh the content and also if any item is taken from that container or key spawn in - it's marked as looted and next time when you open it if you later loot enough containers it can trigger new trap.

Thats also true.  I do it at the worbench if stuck... i take all and i may get a trap but I can get multiple keys. 

 

I use survival and change respawn hours so things stick around a long time. 

 

Of course you can always console in keys...

I study DCW scripts and with traps and loots in containers are bug what can be used for good or it can end very worse)

I found how this bug can be fixed by repair a scripts.

Doing the start up, but as soon as i pick up the cutters and get rid of the hobble dress... the mod stops, and combat surrenders to NOTHING, and then adds a bunch of random devious items to me.

 

WORKING AS INTENDED?

 

is there a console command to free you?

No. Exit to Vault111 to start game time then wait a hour and spawn keys to ride of restraints.
