natybs Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 hey this might be a stupid question but is there something in this mod like the lucky charms from skyim cursed loot? or is there a way to turn down the chance of getting cursed traps? i want to do the glowing sea quest and dont want to end up in a hobble dress out there lol. i read somewhere that since there is no MCM you have to change setting via the dev console but i do not know what the commands are to change anything. especially the difficulty escaping like in skyrim cursed loot there was difficulty like born slave as hardest, etc. any way to change those settings here? also when i started and left vault 111 i got locked into a high security restraint by a cursed loot event. the time says ic an not unlock it for 1 hour but i can not wait by sitting in a chair nearby nor can i unlock it once leaving the vault and going to sanctuary...its doesnt mean a real hour does it? now the pip boy disappears when i leave the vault and i cant get it to come back to trey to escape even with the console commands provided on the mod page. i have retryed the commands to make sure i got them right it says script not found. please help i dont want to have to uninstall this mod but it simply will not work. ok so some experimenting made it so if i dint take all the loot in the chest at the end of vault 111 i onyl got cursed with. posture collar. but the slave harness for the belted quest was unequipped when i clicked on it in the pip boy (i got the console command to work for that). the harness says it can not be re equipped. will this cause problems for the belted quest? i want to know now if i should restart before i get too far in.
Aria the bunny Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 for natybs: 1) there is a mod to add an MCM, I've linked it below, though it does take some work to get to function 2) to get the pipboy back type 'player.equipitem 00021b3b' into the console 3) if you've unequiped the chastity belt you should probably restart if you want belted to make sense, of note is that you should disable combat surrender during the entire vault to avoid a bug. Namely that if you don't and you get hit before escaping the dress you will surrender to nothing the moment you loot the chest for reasons.
natybs Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 yeah i figured that out accept the surrender bit but i got one event that was just a collar so i got off easy. the belt and bra and slave harness are all lock on my character. one interesting thing and this might be stupid but i cant seam to find any restrains in containers i set the drop chance to 1.0, and i believe that means a 100% chance of finding restraints in containers? i looted all the locked safes in sanctuary but got no restraints...do they not drop until "belted" is finished? Also on another note...i got a combat surrender that teleported me to the dugout inn in diamond city i have not been to diamond city yet and i was worried it would break piper somehow since you meet her outside diamond city so i reloaded...but is that common for combat surrenders? to teleport you somewheres you have not been yet?

natybs Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 so i can not get traps untill belted is done? and how would i set the restraint chance to close to one so most containers will drop restraints. thats the thing i cant get any restraints to drop not trapped one just the regular ones i can out on npcs or whatever. they wont appear but i set the drop chance to 1.0 i did the waiting thing for almost a minute in the "transfer" menu for a locked safe but no loot appeared also the vault tec disciplining dress doesn't move my characters hands into the bound position for the straightjacket. my arms become hand less and just stay by my sides. the dress does work correctly on npcs as i used it on macy as a test and it worked.

Namely that if you don't and you get hit before escaping the dress you will surrender to nothing the moment you loot the chest for reasons. it turns out it was just the slave harness that was removed because it has a collar and the cursed loot event at the end of the vault 111 equipped me with a collar. i relocked on the harness so hopefully it is all good. and there are console commands to change the drop rates and they seam to not make restraints drop unless you just cant find any in loot, not just from traps, until after belted is complete.

It's a percentage 0% to 100%, not an On/Off, Yes/No, 1/0 variable. If you equip settlers with restraints that restricts movement they will stand in place and never move or walk back to the spawn marker and never move. LOL i found out i can reverse pickpocket restraints off of settlers. but its iffy because it can fail and you need a key. i still cant get them to drop however, even after waiting when opening containers. do i have to finish belted first to get them to drop? seams like it. but i did it to marcy because i was seeing if the device would bind her arms in correct position, it did not for me. i cant yet make straightjacket dress but the vault tec straightjacket dress didn't bind my arms they just stayed still by my sides. Its very annoying and i cant figure out if its from the chastity belt from belted quest or what but...it works on npcs. hopefully the regular restrain straightjacket doesn't do this. i looked on the forums and could not find anything about this. also in case you guys didnt know bound settlers, even if they dont move, still provide food or defense if you assign them to the resource.

Hide contents 1) 2) i tried equipping it with no other restraints on but the chastity belt. i guess its the 4 arms issue? how do i fix it? i had nothing else on but the belted quest belt, bra and slave harness. or is this a mod that fixes it could you share the link please? i have looked around but could not find a DD equip for fallout 4 or any fix for this issue.

It's because the belted items are scripted differently and getting bound by cursed loot will break shite. Once you get the belt off and remove the handcuffs, the cursed loot will start dropping. When looting containers, if you hit R real fast to empty the container quickly, then multiple cursed items/keys etc. will spawn instead of 1 or 2 items. It's a bug! LOL

It's happens because fallout4 add x pickup item events where x is picked up items. And while some of it not closed it not mark this container as looted. Also it's screw up unused containers database because it's fill up with 1 container this database. I add new check when mark container as used and now it's marks only 1 time. Not sure if it stops trigger this event a x times from container what can add new cursed loot events and hit you. Also i think there can help by add new variable - script is busy and while one item event not end it's halts other events from trigger. Also sometimes i plan rework this script cardinally: instead of trigger as addon item i will try add new perk - looted container as in Skyrim to trigger cursed loot by opening container. But still not know how to correct add a perk and will it works) Now i'm take a break from scripting anyway)

I guess this post can be a shoutout if anyone can fine a solution it seams to be a scripted issue because the dress still lets me draw a weapon like my 10mm pistol and it sholdnt be able to do that in a straighjacket lol 14 hours ago, izzyknows said: Yes you do. LOL yeah figured this haha i just wasnt sure if the loot itsself was supposed to show up during belted, not just the traps.

I added new functionality of DD as also haven't author rights to use. my character looks like she has 2 extra handless arms only when i try to put the hobblejacket dress on. on other people it looks fine but i guess it just doesnt work right now is what you are saying? does kimmy know it is bugged? i wonder what would happen if i put that hobble dress on piper.... but as for the four arms its just that outfit can i just delete the qrms in bodyslide i looked, but it said i needed a slot code for them or something im not sure what that means.

Something is in your side in installation, if you have only 2 arms. i will look at the bodyslide files this weekend it must have been borked. eaher that of AAF framework might be messed up the AAF has done some weird thing i got it originally because i thought it was like devious cursed loot for skyrim where sexlab was a requirement and AAF i thought was the "sexlab" for fallout 4.

Screenshot key is PrtSc - Print Screen) what does AAF actually do? it keep giveing mer an error pop up saying it could not fine the FO$ script extender but i know in installed the script extender correctly and it shows the version and runtime from my main menu setting window. could that problem have caused the arms not going into the straightjacket sleeves? i am not sure if it really was 4 arms or just my arms didnt go into the sleeve but the sleeves are crossed and bound so it looks like 4 arms. aldo is the vault 111 straightjacket dress a special bodyslide file i could only fine the regular jacketdress and no arms extra on that one. i am going to try to use fo4 edit to fix the jacket but i can find the item under the dcw mod in fo4edit but how would i actually change the script for the arms movement? i cant seam to find it.

Before you try to fix anything, ya need to learn how it works first. You can't "fix" the straitjacket with xEdit. That's not how it works. And DCW does NOT contain any outfits. Install the attached file.... choose Yes to overwrite all. And see if the arms go away. You have to install F4SE manually. Just extract the entire 7z to your Fallout4 root folder... not just parts of it. Then launch the game with f4se_loader.exe. But if you're seeing this, then you already are. DD and DCW not need FO4SE - it's works without it fine. As for AAF is need FO4SE and if AAF prompts errors that means then FO4SE or AAf isn't installed correctly. AAF is mod what allows to you add sex animations to game and noway it can interfere with DD or DCW. And not give new 2 arms in jacket. DCW uses meshes from DD that means only DD bodyslide is necessary. Also AAF itself does nothing. After install AAF you need install animations packet and themes packet to allows play animations from this packet. 1
koutsokou Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 First I want to say great mod but ... Is there a way to fix the "extra body" / "4 arm" straightjacket and chastity belt? I tried many things but nothing worked, the only thing I received back was disappointment.
