That webpage broke trying to force ads, but apparently there was a kryptonite suit.

This site (https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/New_Earth) made me smile a little, since whoever wrote it knows the history of the world since the beginning of time.

yes (I say to myself) lots of reading material to absorb and lord over lesser beings who haven't clues, which might (prolly not) explain all the manifesto-writing people going ballistic.

(It sounded lots better in my head)

I'm finding it humorous that there are sooo many people that log on here are leaches, never uttering a word.

I created a club in the club section of this site approximately 2 years ago to promote and consolidate Cyberpunk 2077 mods and comments to one area and have noticed that more than 99% of it's members have never typed in anything the entire time they have been a member and about 90% have never made a comment about anything anywhere on Lovers Lab, some of them being members for almost a decade.

I'm not a really vocal individual, in the real world I've gone weeks and on a couple occasions months without uttering a word to anyone about anything, but being a member on Lovers Lab since mid 2011 I've managed to make around 400 comments, though a little more than half of those were just replies.

Currently on my mind

Need to find a new job.

GF left me the day I left my job after aggressively pursuing me for 5 months,(I told her NO often, but she'd show up with dinner, or come over to clean my place, kept my daughter occupied while she was hurt and recovering) I finally give in and 2 months later she dumps me because "I ain't paying your bills!" despite numerous instances where she asked if I could help her out.  I'm actually fine cash wise unlike her, her kid just told me her car got repo'd. Karma I spose, sad thing is she makes exponentially more than me but can't handle money to save her life. Real karma would be hooking up with her kid. She's 18 and reminds me often "she's legal and she's got a serious daddy complex since hers was never around." Her words.

I bought an apartment sized washing machine but the "universal adapter" doesn't fit a fucking thing except the washer. It's either metric or some wonky ass off the wall thread size. (RCA 1.6 cu ft Portable Washer RPW160) I washed my bed sheets by filling in manually and it worked ok but I don't think they got rinsed very well.  It spins super fast and hard, only took about an hour in front of my box fan to get them dry.

Next Stellaris modpack, probably gonna go with same ol' same ol.

Downloading Genshin Impact again, bored and hoping since I haven't played it in a while it'll entertain me.

Can't figure out how to get this streaming software to work, I want to stream some games with my daughter. I'm not a vocal person playing solo but I'm really fucking good at the games I play and we play Stellaris head to head super modded and have some pretty epic brawls. I think people would be entertained at how we shit talk each other.

Need a new anime to watch as all my shows are ending.

Trying to remember the name of one specifically that had a red head in it that can turn into a dragon and the only scene I remember is she's building a house or something... I only saw a youtube video about it but the video got pulled so now I can't find the name of the anime. The video was "thicc dragon waifus", it's long gone though.

Just watched a few episodes of a show I loved as a kid "Spectreman".  Never watch shows you loved as a kid after you've got 50 plus years behind you... It'll ruin the memories.

Bone spur in my heel woke me up, how could somehting so small be so fucking painful...

Why doesn't my applewood smoked bacon taste like apple or smell like apple?

Why doesn't the vanilla potpourri actually smell like vanilla?

The apartment manager is gonna flip his shit when I move, shot a mouse with some bird shot fired out of my .45.  Left a bigger hole than I thought it would with such fine grains of shot. Barely made any noise but considering where I live the neighbors wouldn't care if I fired off a regular round outside my front door. (bought some for camping a few weeks ago for varmints)

Last thing on my mind,,, wasted to much time making this post and now I want some bacon.

Spoiler

When I tried to build up a forerunner of today's Internet (pre-browser times) ("FIDO" or "Cerberus") together with others more than 30 years ago in D-Land ... we often had discussions about things like "Discussions -Culture", "degree of participation", "etiquette" (and much more).

One of the results at that time -> the culture of discussion in an electronic network is not much different than in the areas outside of it.

Ultimately, this has been confirmed again and again to this day and the thesis as a network promotes a culture of discussion - has turned out to be an "air number" (illusion) ... because who in "real" life has no INTENT to exchange ideas intellectually - will don't do it on any network either.

"Consumer offers" (like mods are) don't help either - the mod author simply has to do them the way the consumer wants - without having said anything verbally about it beforehand.
Yes - the famous "crystal ball" - you should kindly use it during the creation and of course later when detecting errors and eliminating them.

Please don't fool yourself - 150 years of active advertising have turned many into "perfect consumers" - TV alone has been involved for about 70 years.

Why do you think the new prison administration (in the "Depravity" mod) is using the 1950's (Fallout universe) TV and radio commercials to brainwash their inmates?
*sarcasm*

> Another one, classic Batman is history now. He was replaced with "Titans" who are replaced with "Gotham knights", bunch of teen kids among who the girls are the smartest, best fighters and leaders. Even Joker is replaced by his daughter. The world is seriously going mad.

I remember a meme on the internet of Captain America saying "The Battlefield is no place for children!" then the picture below it is Batman and Robin sipping coffee in the Batmobile. I know this isn't the first time children were thrown into combat in stories and it won't be the last. To paraphrase one of Terry Pratchett's works children love bloodshed especially if it is someone that deserves it. Or maybe it was the actual quote. I can't remember. There is always going to be a demand by children for a chance of action and adventure even if it is just fiction.

P.S. Joker's daughter is weird but if they do an animated series I want her voiced like Cartman from South Park.

Now this brought back memories, I ran a Fidonet BBS in the UK for a number of years. It was amazing how well it all worked considering with just had dial-up modems and getting the Cron scripts to work correctly took some effort, but seemed pretty reliable once set up properly.

Can’t say I do. Maybe if Teletubbies was written by Neil Gaiman it would be good. I’m going off fan reception of Some of his works as I haven’t read any. I guess one DC artist I do know is Tom Taylor who is writing Dark Knights of Steel that I liked. No wait! We gotta get Doug Wagner on this. Some of his latest works have two of my favorite things: Serial killers and weird fetishes.

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

This is too real, if i had a dollar for every time i had to deal with one of these types i'd be able to buy the newest overpriced AAA game with all its DLCs with it lmao.

They would likely prefer to use the term Lurkers but one can not be sure, seeing as how they never post to confirm or deny it.
