I don't think gamers and nerds know anything like that. I always regarded modding to be akin to building a ship in a bottle, a pursuit which demands a degree of care, diligence and patience, something which can be extremely relaxing for those who those who have grown accustomed to it, perhaps even bringing them something resembling inner tranquility while for others, it is more stress inducingly fiddly than it is worth. It seems that the people who made this video came to a similar conclusion.

I wouldn't care about that if we met in RL. Would make a good conversation starter tho ? Also makes you more interesting (I can imagine it can be rather hard in everyday life).

This makes me overthink why I do like certain things ?

Eve Online was like a combination of the Truck simulator and Halo on Legendary.

But Skyrim modding won the "it is more stress inducingly fiddly than it is worth" competition, without even the need to start the game
