(Re-alligning is the worst part of animating in my opinion). Just a bit distraced with Iceborne now. OK, I understand that time and effort is the main thing, the main thing, at least not to lose the desire to do this in General ! Thank you for your creativity 1

assassin394 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 How is the update going? Hasn't heard anything since february.

Got 1 animation finished, and 2 animations for which I both need to finish one more stage. I'm really not looking forward to alligning them, and have been delaying them constantly. That and I had some problems with my rig, so I have a new one right now.... from which I've been able to break my OS twice so far already. Everything's working, for now. So I'll probably start soonish again. 7
Tuvalu Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Thanks for all you do Nibbles, it’s appreciated. I don’t think mod authors get told that enough. 1
SirNibbles Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 It seems the more I get hardware upgrades the worse 3ds max starts to run. Went from Windows 7 HDD>Windows 10 SSD (I still hate you windows 10) and got a massive performance drop, but with a lot of heavy adjustments within 3ds max it was still somewhat usable. Now I got a better GPU, better RAM, better CPU and once again even with those adjustments still in place I got even worse performance. It's still very slightly usable but working like this will make animating take twice/thrice as much time. Gonna test now if I can get virtualbox to work with Windows 7 (and enabling GPU acceleration etc.) because I still think Windows 10 is the worst part in all of this, otherwise my future speed of animating will be much worse. 3

I can relate. All my problems started when I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I always hated Windows 10 with a passion and I still do after 2 years of using it ? Good bye Nvidia tools for Photoshop. Windows 7 was perfect, and I miss that OS? 1
poblivion Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I have same problem , Windows 10 stealing performance and I do not know what to do ? I increased RAM twice and all the hard drives I replaced with SSD. Often it happens to me that my computer stops responding when I start the task manager, I see a Windows task that consumes 100% CPU and shortly disappears. I suspect that Microsoft is abusing our computers and using their performance for something PS: That's just my conspiracy theory, don't take me seriously 2
NCK30 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I was also forced to "upgrade" from Windows 7 to 10 because of hardware failure. Took an age to get all working respectable. Can't say my performance is perfect. Get a lot more CTD's in Skyrim, but I suppose You can't fully blame Windows 10 for this. They should have called the game CTDrim. I had my ENB working perfectly with Windows 7, and now I struggle to find preview places for my animations without insane light flickers (I hate that!!). As others said Windows 7 was the best ever made... 1

I don't suspect they're using us for distributed computing and more watching our browsing habits for advertising purposes, but with so many extra "features" built into 10 I would suspect some inefficiencies bog some builds down. @SirNibbles are there 3ds max forums and support sites that might have ideas? I know sometimes a driver package interferes with graphic heavy software, or is it just the version you have doesn't play well with Win 10? I also seem to recall some setting or other that should be changed for something when running a solid state drive but that might have been something like a prechache for Windows since it wouldn't need such a thing with the SSD access speed.

All checked already, and after a lot of changing stuff I've managed to get my fps a bit up again (since the virtual machines didn't play out, as I was already afraid of it). I can somewhat animate again now. It's just a bit dissapointing considering this new rig I have is a considerable upgrade to my previous one so I should be able to run 3ds max without any trouble at all. Then again this is an older 3ds max version, a version which is not supported anymore and older autodesk programs are known not to play well with newer GPU's. Managed to at least get my fps up from 1.5 fps to 7 fps now, which at least makes it a bit workable again. Then again on my old HDD windows 7 installation, with a lot worse hardware components I've had 15-20 fps while animations were playing. The more I use Windows 10, the more I consider going back again to Linux; if only Vulkan got a bit more supported that'd make the choice a lot easier.

fantajoakkh Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 I thought you stopped making animations. I'm glad you haven't left yet.

Will probably even release something soonish, currently wrapping up a dog x female animation; when I've finished that one I'll probably update the pack again. Currently got a new doggystyle animation and...well another doggystyle animation with dogs (WIP) some previews for the human x human one: https://gfycat.com/scarcegiganticesok https://gfycat.com/illinformeddizzydoe 4
SirNibbles Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 New version is up, Version 5.7 Fixed some things and added 2 new animations. Human x human, doggystyle 5 stages Dog/Wolf Knotting 5 stages (This one took quite some time actually, instead of the usual simple looping animations I've took on a more linear approach with non-looping stuff) Just a reminder, without ABC this knotting animation will look very stupid. https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/7556-animated-beasts-cocksabc-for-users-le-se/ 10

Hex Bolt Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 For 5.7.1, the Human package has RapeDoggy animations with no reference in the json file. Can those animations safely be deleted?

Aside from hogging up a couple of megabytes they don't do much for now, not that they can do something wrong either though.
