I appreciate your response, WaxenFigure.

 

I'm assuming you mean the SexLab MCM menu, and if so, there isn't a page tab/toggle/menu item for the list of animations. Only a menu list for animation types. I'm running 1.59c; was this a feature that was added in newer versions?

 

I'll update the framework, and see if that is the issue.

Well yes, the older versions of Sexlab supported fewer animations. One of the reasons it was created was to increase the number of supported animations because of how many animations there were available now. You probably have all the animations 1.59 can support so it doesn't register any additional ones after that.

I seem to have having similar trouble to other people after reading through all 17 pages. The SLAL MCM is there, but I have several SLAL packs installed and none appear.

 

Running with MO 1.3.11. Dependencies are all here. I've reinstalled each mod to make sure the data is the top level. Installed SLAL and all packs, then ran FNIS; FNIS detected that all animations were present. The json files are present in each of the SLAL folders, which were installed as separate mods. I checked Python to make sure that everything was pointing to the right location and they are.

 

The mods in order (with misc. others in between) in MO's left pane:

 

SL Framework 1.62

Jcontainers 3.3.rc.3 (downloaded today)

SL Anim Loader 1.3 (downloaded today)

SLAL Leito

SLAL nibble

SLAL Suke

SLAL Kom

SLAL Anub

 

I'm at a complete loss here. This is a new MO profile. The only things I've done since starting it is move the PC to a house, add an NPC in, and test some base animations to make sure SL Framework was installed properly. If I get some free time I'll make another new one with only the minimum installed.

 

Please let me know if I did something stupid. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Ack! After following all of the instructions, I can't seem to get this to show up in the MCM after waiting ten minutes. I tried the console trick as well: setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 

 

I have this loaded after SexLab. Not sure what other load order tweaks to make other than the obvious for SkyUI being up near the top.

 

 

EDIT #1: Decided to try installing the JContainer (along with the Safeguard) manually since using a MM seems to dick with the directories. No change.

EDIT #2: I'm going to attempt to manually install Nope. Tried manually installing everything.

EDIT #3: Well, after sifting through this thread multiple times, I'm gonna try to load an old version of this mod and see what happens. .....Welp. This didn't work either.

 

I don't know what else to do. I think I've tried everything I can but any suggestions would be great. I'm fixing to give up at this point and go back to NSAP.

 

EDIT #4: 8 hours of hairpulling, fiddling, and questioning my sanity later, I finally figured out my problem. iNeed. For some effing reason, these mods do NOT play nicely together. After I got rid of it, this mod loaded up without a fart. I fired up a new game after reinstalling everything (including Skyrim itself) and loaded up just iNeed, SkyUI and my other essentials. Everything was fine. Did the exact same thing with all of my SexLab stuff (including this mod) without iNeed and everything was peachy. After reinstalling everything for the third time today, I tried loading up iNeed with this and SLAL disappeared from the MCM again. WTF? I dinged with the load order and that made no difference. Disabled/Renabled, waited an ingame week, sacrificed a virgin, random BS that make no sense but work, et al. and they refuse to dance together. I say again, WTF?

is there a way to force a actor to be set to a different scale when running a specific animation?

i am trying to make a down scaled dragon animation but something keeps resetting the console setscale command,

Eg: a change of stage or pressing the rotate scene button will reset the dragons scale. (i have "Even Actors Height" turned off)

Ash Hopper animations may need a setscale solution as well.

I think thtas cuz new sexlab version is buged and even with scaling off its actually on. Atlest i think i remmber ppl mentioning it before. Am also very interested in way to set scale on animation to animation basis.

 

All the bug races freak out with sexlab scaling on: chaurus hopper, normal chaurus, chaurus hunter, all spiders.

Any way to fix the Leito lesbian double dildo animations to have them to work properly in SLAL ? they were working fine in NSAP but don't work properly in SLAL, dildo stay stuck in actor hand all along, read somewhere it has something to do with SLAL limitation ... i understand that 2 animation messed up out of hundred working properly isn't a major issue but still, i guess the option could be to reinstall NSAP just to enable this 2 but ....  :dodgy: .

Yes one thing after running FINS I thought I use to see SLAnimation loader  in the list but one see the animation only ie. Nibbles could this be the issue?

You won't see the Animation Loader in the FNIS output as it doesn't have any animations itself, it is simply the framework to add the animations. Do you have any warnings in the FNIS output? Is your JContainers up to date and is the json file showing correctly in in the SLAnims folder after install (there was an issue with that not beoing installed correctly before)?

FINS has no warnings looks clean.

JContainers 3.3a is install first, second is SLAnims 1.3.7 and yes I see the SLAnimLoader.esp.

I installed SLAL, everything seems fine but when SL goes to any animation from SLAL both actors get teleported to staring position and just stand there (with no animations) and sound running

 

can anyone help please? idk if you need info or something

We need to know:

 

• Have you run FNIS after adding the animations?

• Have you installed all the requirements (including JContainers?)

• Are you using a Mod Organizer? If so. which one?

• Can you post your load order?

• Can you post your FNIS output?

 

That will be a start to helping you. :D

Nobody who "installed all the requirements" would still be using the Default skeletons because one of the requirements listed for the Sexlab Framework is an updated skeleton. With the default skeletons you should NOT have the "Skeleton Arm fix" patch and since you do not have the MOD which requires the "Gender Specific Animations patch" that should also not be selected.

 

Turn those two patches off and you might be surprised to see it work even without the updated skeleton but better yet install the skeleton and leave the patch for it selected.

It looks like they have installed the game via disc manually to a folder outside of the steamapp folder. I have done this for one of my game installs on one of my PCs and get a similar message from FNIS saying it's not run from a expected location as it's outside of the steam apps folder. I think we need to be careful with our accusations as rule 6 says we won't help people pirate the game (as in help them download an illegal copy by sharing the game over torrent or something). I think we need to trust the user has a legitimate copy as FNIS is seemingly built to recognise where it is run from.

Looking at your FNIS output I cannot see a single SLAL pack which means FNIS is not picking up the txt files used to register the animations. This may be due to your priorities in ModOrganizer (not your load order). It may also be that you have not installed the pack currently in Mod Organizer on a data level so Mod Organizer cannot pick up the required files.

 

I find that dragging and dropping the SLAL packs directly into the SLAL data folder works for me. I had a few issues with MO recognising files when I first started using it. I have been meaning to separate them again and check incise it was my own stupidity but haven't had the chance.

 

As FNIS is not recognising your SLAL packs, it is not installing the animations. So when SLAL updates in games and goes to play an animation, it cannot find the data from FNIS to associate the correct HKX files.

 

MNC is More Nasty Critters. It is a mod that hasn't been updated in about a year. As it has a lot of data and animations to add it can take a while to update in FNIS. the question marks just means that the FNIS file for MNC doesn't have a version number, so FNIS doesn't know what version MNC is. But that is not an issue.

Looking at your FNIS output I cannot see a single SLAL pack which means FNIS is not picking up the txt files used to register the animations. This may be due to your priorities in ModOrganizer (not your load order). It may also be that you have not installed the pack currently in Mod Organizer on a data level so Mod Organizer cannot pick up the required files.

sorry im a noob in this area, what exactly is installing on data level or what can i do about MO priorities?

 

copied animation packs into Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\SLAnimLoader-1.3 (its not in data folder tho so idk if you ment that) but that didnt help

its good to know MNC is fine!

 

and thanks, thats my drawing and the rest of it is pretty naughty :P
