In the NMM version, it says HN66s Mage Nails is required. Can it just be either or?

When i click on both links (LL and NMM) they take me to the same location with the A2 file option. Anyway, glad you got it eventually, sorry about the hassle. But constantly using the mod would be op for the Tiefling gameplay, so other mechanics could be added. Just my humble suggestion.Thanks for all your hard work. This mod alone got me back to Skyrim

I am not quite sure what you are asking for as I thought the Deadly Drain mod worked OK with Tiefling mod. I have had other players mention that they use it to top up Tief's stats. dePog Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 Version 1.7.6It may not look like a lot has changed, but I have done a lot of work tightening up scripts in the background and a lot of messing around with vomiting, lol. - TAIL, HORNS, CHAINS: Have made some improvements to their stability. They should now stay attached during quests like Diplomatic Immunity. Let me know if this also helps with mods like Devious Devices and Devious Loot. - SPEWING: I have added a vomiting animation. When Tief calls her servant for wound repair she will spew a couple of times while being healed. (I haven't perfected this yet. The spew puddle is the right colour (yellow/green) but the stuff coming out her mouth looks blood red and I don't know how to change it, yet) Tief may also vomit : if she has been glamoured for too long and it is severely draining her health; after removing her glamour if it has been on for a long time. - SOUL TWINS: Changed the Soul Twins spell so that it is given to Tief when she finds the second Mara Boon (Molag followers get it at 8 Temptations) - HOW TO UPGRADE: This should be safe for existing savegames, but make a save that you can return to if things go wrong. To get the stability changes to Tief's tail, chains and horns you will need to visit the Temple of Decision and activate each of their respective stones. Activate the Tail Stone at least once to initiate the new scripting. If you want to stay with your existing tail colour you will have to activate the stone multiple times until it toggles back to the tail you want. Activate the Horns Stone at least once to initiate the new scripting. If you want to stay with your existing horn style you will have to activate the stone multiple times until it toggles back to the horns you want. Activate the Chains Stone at least once to initiate the new scripting. If you want to stay with your existing chain colour you will have to activate the stone again to return to the colour you want. Activate the Upgrade Stone just to check that you have everything else up to date

It oughta be pretty easy to make the two work well together (in my mind, I'm no modder kek.) I'm assuming that theres a .ini or.xml file somewhere containing all of the weapon and ability stats? Where's it located? Can I modify it without breaking the mod?

Where's it located? Can I modify it without breaking the mod? Tief is pretty much way overpowered for the vanilla game. I usually have High Level Enemies, Genesis, and Deadly Combat running, plus Deadly Dragons on Insane level. I haven't played with Perma so I can't comment, except that its perk tree may clash with the Tiefling mod's changes to some perks. For instance, Tiefling mod prohibits access to the Restoration and Destruction perk trees. If Perma gives Tief access to healing spells then it would change the whole premise of Tief's storyline. However, try running Tiefling close to last on the mod order and see how you go. Tief will get better resistances, better attack damage and higher Daedraflesh armor ratings as she finds more boons so you should be OK in Perma combat. However, while Tief is overpowered in attack, her defenses are vulnerable, so you don't want to get her into a long fight with multiple opponents. She is more the ' sneak up behind you and rip your throat out' type of girl. The mod doesn't have an ini file where you can adjust combat attack/ defense stats. I use the Deadly Combat mod as it has an MCM menu that allows you to adjust the attack/ defense stats of the player and NPCs. Hope that helps. Cheers, dePog

Is armor supposed to affect how easily Tief gets wounded or is it straight RNG? Ta

I will ponder the situation and see how I can manipulate the wound scripting to accommodate armor. Spells...powers... Mara Prayer. Mara line works fine. Decided to try the Malog Bal line and, after accepting the line at the altar, I get "Oblivion teleport not available from the Temple." I get that no matter where my evil Tief is standing. I get it in town, in the country or in a house. I get that no matter how long I wait (or sleep.) I get that after upgrading Tief at the temple. Unless I missed something glaringly obvious - although this mod is so well documented that I doubt it- there is a bit of a problem. Everything else in the Malog Bal line works perfectly. Spells... Powers... Damage... Everything but teleporting to Oblivion. BTW, summoning essence with the console means that the teleport thing it's NOT a game breaker. Great mod. Thanks for all the hard work.

Hi Rowdythehermit, I haven't encountered that issue before. So that I can track it down can you tell me whether you chose Molag after you had previously accepted Mara's path, or did you start a new character before trying Molag path? Have you tried Teleporting to Oblivion whilst in the Temple of Decision? There is a Global Variable tracking whether you are at the Temple or not. Perhaps it has somehow switched incorrectly. I will look into this and see if I can replicate the issue. Thanks for the feedback. dePog
rowdythehermit Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Yeah... I see where you're going with this. Initially I created a Mara Tief. Next... I am a noob to the world of Tief so I unknowingly picked up the first temptation that I found. That triggered some kind of zap where the prayer stopped working, so I ran back to the altar and reaffirmed Mara. Everything started fine with Mara again. I am still playing that toon. After that is when I decided to make a Molag Bal Tief to see which I liked playing most. I've made 3 of those and they all have the same inability to teleport to Oblivion. Yes, I have tried to teleport from the temple but only after nothing else worked. With all of that said... I did have 1 evil Tief that tried to teleport and she ended up at the entrance to the starter cave. I ran her back inside and then she was able to teleport to Oblivion. That's the evil Tief I'm playing now. She got to Oblivion once, after what seemed to be a teleport-redirect, but has had the same "unable to teleport" message since. I ever ran her back to the starter cave manually just now and, even inside, she can't teleport again. Thanks
