I'm not really a community guy and I haven't been too far into loverslab mods but I wanted to give special thanks to CPU for helping(doing stuff for me ;P) with a script for my mod. He is one of the best moderators I have seen in a long time due to the fact he is invested in the community and he helps modders.

Hello Lovers Lab,

I come from the great era of Sims2 modding fantastical, the long online war of Frontlines: Fuel Of War, the birth of MMO, the great recession of 2008, the death of the Matrix Online, the era of modding Fallout 3, the death of Star Wars Galaxies, the great migration of MMO refugees to the long development cycle hype train of Star Wars The Old Republic, the long era of excursion into New Eden in Eve Online, the great online war of Planetside 2, the age of the Mass Effect, the era of modding Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas, the age of modding Skyrim, The Old Republic, the Tale of two wastelands, the era of modding Grand Theft Auto IV and V, the era of modding Sims4 fantastical, the modding of Fallout Four, and ZOMG I'm so long winded & fantastic!  Yeah, there we go.

A lifetime of video games that began in the arcades, consoles, and computers of the 1970-1980 rise of the digital age.  With me that led into the Playstation I & II 1990's.  Then that led to Worlds Chat Gold.  I'm a cliche!  Born out of a child playing Smurfs & Dig Dug.  Something like that.  I became quite sick in my adult life, and as that happened I joined in many others who bought a personal computer as a young adult.  This is what led into that great era of Sims2 modding fantastical.  Which if we really look is a great expedition into Surrealism philosophy.  Not much of a surprise that this has led into a much greater expedition into a vast amount of expanding discovery.  Lovers Lab is just as big a part in that as any of the other fantastic developments.  So a great "thank you so much" to the modding community.

BLARG,

xxGSxx

I like this community because it's home to so many talented modders that come up with such creative ideas. This applies to any kind of content that modifies games, and is not child porn (my opinion).

Thanks, Loverslab!

children porn No way! the moderators would this modder on climb the roof! ?

What I find amazing about the site is that I never expected the community to be so open about different topics. I assumed it's just going to be the mods, some weird random topics here and there, people living in their closets and that would be it. But no! There are a lot of interesting people around here with interesting things to discuss. And the best part is that no one judges others. Or what do I know, maybe they do in their mind, but still. I don't anyway. I find it awesome that people have the courage to speak about their kinks and stuff. These people are more modern in my eyes.

Super strange to have such a "free" environment to talk about stuff, considering how toxic most forums can be if the topic is about something less "Everyday". I guess a big thank goes to the moderators as I'm sure this site has seen a lot of BS as well.

I came here, looking for mods for The Sims 3, instead, I find an amazing, open and friendly community.

While I'm still new to the scene, I can appreciate people expressing and understanding each other's creativity in mods and fetishes in real life, hypothetical scenarios and general forum fun!

I haven't been a part of such a friendly community since my Red Faction 1 days. Man that was 13+ years ago now. Good times. You guys seem to bring it all back and practically adapted to the current me.

Never change, LoversLab. The very fact that a lot of us get to think and be weird and not be judged make this community extremely rare and shines a light on the good in humanity.

Thank you all.

Agree with most the thing here people are saying, even though it's a long list of reasons the two biggest ones from me

1 you can be yourself here and nobody judges you

2 nobody hear acts better than the next person everybody tries to help each other. I just want to say over the past few days in a certain Forum on this site someone was talking about they think they're in a depression, now nobody ignored it people started coming to them giving them advice,  pickingthem up that kind of stuff. It isn't just about mods people here seem to want to help others no matter what

It's taken hard work by the moderators to make it this way. Warnings, bannings, locking threads, not to mention being pretty awesome themselves. So they definitely deserve a shout out.

No doubt, I got the chance to chat with CPU  last night,  he was very cool in explaining things to me and so down to earth.

You are absolutely correct thou, this community happened with alot of hard work from the moderators

I had an interesting issue I wanted to solve and discussed with several friends here on LL (I am not going into detail in order to avoid boring people who aren't into technical Skyrim). Anyway, first I posed it on a thread and got very useful information. Unfortunately, since I didn't know what I was doing I didn't ask the question completely and still had some work to do. Rather than posing another question I used search to find a thread that was complete that already answered the question. You've got to love LL. ?

I love this site so much too! I'm often lurking because I'm usually playing games. Thanks to this site and community I have pervy mods for all the Bethesda games here and Dead or Alive, Crusader kings, etc. You all have also turned me into a pervy mod hunter for other games like Saints Row series and now I even fantasize about more games that should get the same treatment. I also love it here because I'm sick of society's hypocritical bullshit around sex. Its great to be able to speak to people who don't have that "normal", boring, stifling outlook. Love you all!

There's really very little reason for me to way in here most of my feelings have already been expressed. However that being said I do need to thank the moderators for the totally awesome job they do here. In the 3 1/2 years I have actually been a member I found that I rarely needed to ask for help because a quick search usually showed that my question had already been answered before. I have had a few "spirited" exchanges in several threads (usually do to my unintentional condescending tone) but it has never devolved into a flame war like so many other forums. As has been stated repeatedly the people here don't seem to judge each others "kinks". I believe I stated in another thread there are things on this site that aren't "my cup of tea" so I avoid them yet for those that are into that stuff, you go be you (it's doesn't affect me so why should I care what you are into; right?).

I joined like 2 weeks ago and have been dowloading a ton of mods for skyrim and fallout 4 so HUGE thank you to everyone creating mods!

I'm mostly lurking around as I don't know anyone here yet, but I like this place. I've only seen MAJOR body-positivity from people and helpful words.

But I love all of you wonderful strangers - You make this place what it is. A caring community for anyone to speak their minds.

Hello ?

i'm regular on Loverslab from 5 years i guess, and i know i'm not verry active on the forum, but i'm sure about one thing, if i still play at skyrim it's cause of loverslab's moders  X)

and everytime i have post for get help, peoples was realy nice :), i have read alot of topic, so i can easily say Loverlab is probably the best and nice comunity i know on internet ^_^

At first i was scared to ask for help about a +18 Mod, so i have hide my gender and uploaded screenshot instead of using steam app cause i was scared to be judged, harassed and more...

but after 2 years and alot of reading on loverslab i have realised how it was stupid of me cause i never see anyone being rude or judging anyone :| and today i still think "damn this is strenge, one of the most nice comunity i know is one based on porn and kinky moding...* and at first i was like " take your mods and avoid the forum cause people here are probably weird ...* now i realise i have judge peoples cause i was scared to be myself...... for this i feel stupide and guilty so ... appologies everyone :|

I remember few years ago a story about some feminists wanted see loverslab closed  (i'm not sure if this is this one ) http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/LoversLab

But as a woman and cause i'm used to come on loverlab every weeks since 2013 i can say something, i can't remember having see any woman ( or someone wanted being considerate as one or any LGBT )  being treated with rudness by someone. I play alot at online games, and i'm still confronted to misogyny (more now than few years ago ) Thes feminist are so wrong, they said " LoversLab furthers rape culture, misogyny, sexist attitudes and gender inequality"  in my opinion it's quite the oposite Loverslab comunity are realy open minded and thes feminists forget women can enjoye porn fantaisie too.

( i'm sorry for the probably wrong typo, english aren't my native language :| )

this is wath i think about loverslab from a moment, why i love it  and i tought it's was the good moment ( and topic ) for say it ^^ Thank you everyone for creating Loverslab, Thankyou all admin , moderators and all the comunity for making it great :D i hope it's will be forever :)

My behavior towards this community has been a mixed bag.

I'm snarky. I can't help that.  ;)

I've been abusive. I CAN help that.

But, what is the saying? The ones that you love, you hurt the most.

Doesn't excuse my past behaviors. I haven't established any sort of presence here beyond "pleb."

Even if I had... There's no license for abuse. Whatsoever.

But, I love this place.

It's not where I (or YOU!) ought to funnel day-to-day frustration. There's a place for that: It's called *chan.

Well, that's about all.

❤️
