ok idk if it is this mod its worth a shot if you guys know a fix....  I was slave so it has other mods in this but when I was restrained but when I tried to hit '' I '' for inventory my game crash any ideas?

Hello, I posted for help in the DDi support thread but got barely any response so I'm going to try here.

 

So basically I have recently decided to "finally" install a ENB (Vividian ENB to be precise) and It appears some form of artefact from the ENB is visible through the blindfold (see spoilers for screenshots) which I think might be the godrays. Screenshots are taken during daytime one inside Markarth and one outside Whiterun.

 

Vividian ENB was installed with Brighter Nights and compatibility patch for Pure Weather (Which I also have ofcourse, but I had it before I added the ENB as well).

But the blindfold effect seems to effectively work during night time from what I've noticed so far.

 

Blindfold Mode is Dark Fog.

And I'm wondering if there's a way to solve this issue without butchering my ENB.

When I expand the DDX-4.2.zip with 7Zip, under DDX-4.2\01 CBBE\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\ I get folders for numerous items such as FT_RopeHarness, FT_RopeCollar, DDX_Heretical, and several others. In DDX_Heretical I have a folder HR_BBYoke01 containing the osd and nif files for the yolk. However, after installing this mod with Mod Organizer 2, when I look in the DD Expansion-4.2 Mod Organizer 2 Mod folder in CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\,,   DDX_Heretical is the only folder and it contains all the files that are located in the DDX-4.2\00 Core and none of the one's from the 01 CBBE. When I try to batch build in BodySlide I don't see any of the items listed from the 01 CBBE folder, only the 00 Core. It's like MO2 is only installing files from the 00 Core directory and none of the files from the 01 CBBE directory. I see only the items in the 00 Core directory in the MO Data Storage\Meshes folder also. Is it me doing something wrong, a bad zip file, or MO 2 not installing it right? Any quick fix or manual file copy/paste I can do to resolve this?

 

Well, after trying to re-install DDX-4.2 MO says "No Game Data On Top Level". I guess you have to choose between Core or CBBE to make as the Data Directory so you can't get all of the items installed unless I'm missing something.

@Highlife You shouldn't ever need to go that manual with the mods. Using MO2 i get this FOMOD installer which chooses all the files and folders for me:

But if you're still curious on the manual, you need CORE and either CBBE or UUNP folders. Move their inner contents to data\ level. So that you have Data\CalienteTools and Data\Meshes.

Sorry, I still don't see an FOMOD file in the download section, only a zip file. I don't know how you got the screen displayed in your hidden contents. I see no other way to install this mod other than "Installing the Mod from an Archive." in MO2.

FOMOD is a folder inside the 1 zip, it includes files that the MO2 and other mod launchers can read and install mods. It's completely optional but many modders include them, and have included for years and years even in many Nexus mods. Because lots of mods include optional files that you can only choose some, not all of them. If you have never seen the installers then it's likely that you have many more mods than DDx with broken installs.

 

If you go to MO2 Downloads tab and doubleclick the DDx-4.2.zip, it should start the FOMOD installer automatically.

 

But if it does not, you have something wrong with your MO2 itself.

- Is it latest version? I have 2.2.0 now.

- Go into MO2 settings and Plugins tab. There should be "Fomod Installer" with enabled and prefer true.

Thanks for helping with this. Maybe this should be posted in MO2 forum, but this mod is the first one that I have installed that I have discovered the problem with. I do have the latest MO2, 2.2.0 and in the Plugins tab FOMOD installer is prefer - true and enable -true. I have nothing in the "Downloads" tab on the right because I always do a manual download and install using the "Installing the mod from an archive" button. It was my understanding that to download directly to MO that it was an option when using the Nexus site and not from LL. I have chosen mod options many times from the FOMOD screens when presented with them but I am not being presented with one when I try to install this mod. I don't see an FOMOD folder in the zip file so I am going to re-download it.

 

Well, horse crap. The new zip file installed great, the old one was half as large as it should have been. I still don't know how you got it listed in your "downloads" tab though. Thanks for your help, sometimes it helps just to go over what you did with someone.

 

Somehow, while downloading this expansion mod, my computer must have received an erroneous "End of File" signal in order for me to only receive half of the mod . It was shown as a completed download in my computer.

You need to place zip/7z mods into \MO\downloads\ folder.

 

If you already have a folder just for mods, you can choose that in the MO settings (Paths) and use that location instead.

I got a problem, when i equip any piercings, there are a giant white triangle and red shape on the character, everything else works fine, i runned body slide and have hdt

I recently re-downloaded all my mods and updated as well. I am now getting a prompt box telling me "DDE has detected CD installed but not the DDe - CD Patch ............" Any idea what is causing this?

This module is typically labeled as "DDX" - not DDe.  I'm not 100% sure what that mod is - perhaps Devious Devices Equip?

i need dd 4.1 mods. I am playing slave run and it wont start because  it requires 4.1 and not 4,2. google has turned up nothing for 4.1

On SSE, I get an error about not having netimmerse enabled when attempting to wear the pony boots. Are there any plans to fix so it works with racemenu`s netimmerse fix on SSE?

File is ok, did you wait until it finished downloading?  946,061KB is the file size in Windows Explorer.

Not enough info, simple answer is "install textures" but it's likely some kind of error you have done installing them that we cannot possibly know. If you can post everything about your DD install you can it might give us hints, but in the end there is little we can be of help with it.
