You don't need to download a body for bodyslide, you use bodyslide to generate the body you want.  The only thing you may need to download is compatible body textures.Insert other media

Would lack of body textures cause the armor pieces to become invisible?

No, lack of a texture would turn them purple. invisible body usually means you didn't generate the body mesh/device meshes or put them in the proper location, can also depend on what mod manager/install method your using.

Hi i have had this problem where all three of the Devious Device mods are all invisible in game even after i batch built them, using bodyslide (i use UUNP and i can also see them in BO when i preview it), and reinstalled them several times and checked if i have the required mods to run it, which i do. I use MO and i can see that there are no conflicts that are occurring with the mods. I also know that the files sent after batch building are sent to the overwrite file and i have created the file and enabled it as well. I have also run TES5Edit and LOOT and there are no warnings but nothing seems to change the problem. Any advice is appreciated. Here is my mod order list as well. Thanks.

I don't see the output from bodyslide in either the overwrite or created mod in that list.  Also I believe sexlab nude creatures is outdated, and not supported.  You should be using the SLAL version of MoreNastyCreatures.

Is there a console item list somewhere? I'm more than half retarded and have no idea how to use the body slide nonsense, and I have accidentally found several item codes that spawned some of the items from DD by trying to spawn items from another mod.

BodySlide is not the same as the in-game console. Bodyslide is used to build the devices to make sure that they show up in-game.

Try following this guide:

I looked this over and with the part about the outfit and body, does it matter if you have a piece of armor or body selected? Because I build with the outfit/body being a body type and for me none of the body based devices appear.

You only use the Outfit/Body thing when you do them one at the time. We're doing it with a batch build, so that isn't needed. Just follow the instructions and it'll be fine.

 

If you followed it correctly, they should work in-game. If not, there could be something else going on. Are you using a mod manager like MO?

Some notes on the guide:

- Should select the main body in the top left. You have "Katarina Armor" selected, and it limits what options are shown in Preset list. In worst case one might have something odd selected and there are only "wrong" presets available.

- I'd recommend building with morphs enabled. There are many mods that require it, basically all mods that alter belly or breast size for example. I think even Cursed Loot was using a node since some 7.x version for arousal scaling.

- One needs to pay attention to the group filter at the top. Safest way is to set filter off, the "quick and easy" way, but they can be used to build just certain armors. The "Unassigned" group should always be selected though for when modders forgot to put armors to any group at all.

Does anyone have the belly clipping issue? The harness and all other items are clipping around the belly.

Update: When a harness or corset is work while naked the clipping issue occurs but when I wear a body armor then the clipping stops. What is this?!

Ok so i got some of the armours to appear in game but the rest still do not appear when equipped and they do not cause any animations either. Whenever i equip armour for the hands and feet they go invisible. I have also created a new profile in MO and just enabled the mods required to use the mods, but it still didn't fix the problem. I have even switched to a CBBE body just make sure it was not a UNNP problem, but it was still the same. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

So, strange question: is there a way I can get the racemenu preset/settings for one of the characters used in the images posted for this mod (Devious Devices Expansion)?

I tried searching to see if my question had been answered before on LL but I could not seem to find it.

 

I am particularly interested in the face and hairstyle of the character in this image (and the other images of her) because IMO she is just so freakin' cute:

I can answer some of that.

 

The character is Sif, who used to feature quite a lot in show your skyrim counterpart and story threads a long time ago. Sadly, her creator Mord Sif (who made the mod wrist-binder) passed away a few years back.

 

What I can say is that Sif is a Breton, made with RaceMenu, using UNP-family bodies, and that the hair in the images here is Sweet Slumber from KS Hairdos Renewal. I'm fairly certain the expressions were set up using a mod called Lively Lovely Screenie that should be available on Nexus.

Thank you for such a quick response and I am sorry to hear that. You have sent me down quite the rabbit hole, I must say. At first it was in the hope of finding what I was originally looking for, but that motivation quickly shifted to gaining some sort of understanding of who Mord Sif was. Not much can be learned from several past forum posts yet, from these posts, it is clear she was a joyful, helpful individual who loved this community and was loved right back by it.

Not sure how long my curiosity will keep me digging, it’s sad coming across so many well-wishers who miss her but it’s sweet to know how many people adored her.

Sounds like the body you built this for in Bodyslide is NOT the body you are using AND that is it built for whatever body that armor is built for.

I made a bodyslide for CUUNP Puffy and it sort of fixed it. I suck at bodyslide so its not the best result.
