Perhaps what you want is an explanation for your current condition whether or not it is accurate. It could be that it is a case of Ennui, possibly treatable by proactively finding a cause to get behind. 

Then again, maybe you just want something to be annoyed by to provide more fodder for posts in this thread. If so, maybe my long-distance quack diagnosis will do just the trick.

Much as I enjoy not having to go to the effort of being social or deal with people at work in person, I am not loving the fact that our formerly once a month 8:30 a.m. meeting is now a weekly meeting. Yes, first world problems without a doubt. However the other night-time people here will understand exactly what it is like to suddenly have to deal with 10 morning people at a time when you are used to being sound asleep.

Two mods:

 

1. Defeat

There is not a single version that works flawlessly. In fact, i have never seen a more bugged mod than this.

I'm currently on Save 680+ and about to remove this pice of shit from my load order (MCM uninstall, Fallrim Tools Save Scalpel) because it has begun to invade the scripts from other mods (im serious, Defeat events have begun to happen at random when another mod even should have triggered).

The bug that happens the most is that suddenly ALL enemies turn friendly (Defeat Calmed Spell is simply broken), never return to hostile state and I already had to revert many times to previous saves.

Also, I'm sick and tired of seeing "you cannot surrender to this enemy" because Defeats Animation filters are broken too and "updating the cache of animations" doesn't ever work.

Fuck this mod, seriously.

 

2. Devious Devices + Bodyslide

I can't remember the amount of times some fucking devices ended up invisible because of some problems with bodyslide.

I must have re-generated bodyslide about 50 times now for the sole reason of having to fix some of the devices from DD.

Yes, I have all the requirements, i checked that just as many times.

I mean, I even succeded in porting this to enderal (with TES5EDIT modifications to races) so i'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing.

I can't wait until the next random device shows up invisible (i.e. does not show up hahaha).

ENBs that make everything pitch black. I hate when they look great during daytime, but nighttime and every interior, including taverns, is the motherfucking abyss. When I changed my enbs I thought that my game is bugged or it crashed. I used night eye, candle light spell and a fucking torch just to see the floor. FUCKING SERIOUSLY? I need a special modded equipment just to travel during the night, make sure that everything emits a shitload of light. Sun Bro. Literally.

 

After about 5 minutes of wandering in nothingness I stop giving a fuck about realism and muh immersion, especially that every fucking forest hobo is a fucking Khajiit Vampire Nightlord of the Edge and can see everything from a mile away.

In some enbs even tree shadows make everything almost pitch black. You FFFFFFF-

Don't think so, it was an XFX Radeon R9 290X that I got to play FO4 so it wasn't exactly new and I'm pretty bad about keeping drivers up to date. I had actually updated the driver back in December so I was really surprised that it happened. And I was actually in the middle of playing Oldrim at the time, so I don't think the issue is similar. I'd been hearing some clicking/whining from either the GPU or a HDD (newer than the card) for a few months, pretty clearly the GPU (I hope), and the heat sinks on the card were full of dust despite my best-ish efforts to keep the thing clean.  Replaced it with a Geforce GTX 1660 and the games I've been playing so far have worked pretty well. Wasn't happy about spending the money on it given how my job got downgraded at the start of the year and even more in the tank now thanks to the shelter in place order, but having a working GPU is kinda important.
