Hey, I just discovered this armor through a youtube review, maybe you'll want to add it to DCL (you open a chest and get covered in goo with consequences similar as a rubber suit or the parasite) :

I think it looks nice, though Kimmy only uses armor if it has whatever files it needs for body slide. Does this one? If not someone would have to add them. From what limited info I have it isnt that hard, but takes time.

Hello, I found the old collar in fort greymoor and triggered it. It is supposedly an alternative way to trigger the cursed collar quest. Yet, even though I received and read the note, no quest triggers.

It seems that cursed loot yells a lot because it cannot start the quest. I'm not exactly sure why it fail in such a fashion. Would anybody have a hint?

Minor question/bug for you. So I'm doing the "Bound Queen" quest chain, and I've run into a problem. I have all the parts, save one, and it's not dropping anywhere. It's been like 20 levels now, but the 'Leg Cuffs' aren't spawning anywhere that I've been able to find. Am I missing something (read; user error), or is this a bug I couldn't find posted elsewhere in this topic?


So I just started a new game with a clean install and after using the soliciting option my character got put in what looks like rubber gloves and steel shackles. Problem is they are both missing textures and are purple. Other gear I have on me is not, like a white harness and white pony boots. Never had this happen before, but I assume that if I could find the specific textures I could just replace them in the data folder?

 

Those two items are from dcl right?

 

I've found the textures don't always install if you're fomod installing it. If you open it up and pick the textures and drop them in manually, it should fix the issue, at least in my experiences.

[ BUG REPORT ]

So, some nasty chest equipped a latex hood (or just hood?) at my poor girl, so this thingy that acts as gag AND blindfold simultanously. As I had no keys at that time, I've let her mumble through the DD gag talk dialogue and was very happy when I've seen the outcome "I can't understand a word, let me just remove that gag" by meaning.

So I've waited, the guy stood around, but then the dialogue quit and the dude just walked away, without removing the hood! So maybe either he should have removed the hood and give eyesight back, too, or this outcome should get blocked when wearing a hood, imho.

 

And another thing, the removal of many items STILL is bugged, as soon as some chastity devices come across, DCUR goes ham :( And no, I didn't use the safeword, it was this quest where you are released somewhere in the nowhere and have to get back safely (Devious Adventure?). I've made it, the guy wanted to remove all the stuff, but again piercings and corset for sure, and plugs also I believe, didn't got removed. So it seems like the latex catsuit and the chastity belt prevented the removal of those items, when DCUR tried.

 

Now again, my suggestion: When trying to remove anything, first look for chastity bra and belt, then for anything that can't be restricted by other items like boots and cuffs, after this remove suits and corsets, and plugs and piercings at very last.

This way the belted corset should get enough time to rebuild to a normal corset when the belt unequips and nothing should get blocked. Or just let run two iterations, which would be less efficient though.

Hah, I just finished the Bound Queen last night, and having played both versions of it now, I'm very much hoping for a further expansion of it. It was so good (so bad? ;)) that I would really like to see a further continuation of it. The ending of the quest just felt... too quick after you get his key.

 

Hm... A suggestion or two, that might be cool to see. Obvious spoilers.

 

 

Perhaps in future we might discover that, during our "expeditions", Julius found the means to make new items for the Bound Queen that come in to play when you find his stash. A yoke? A panel gag? Blindfold? Maybe a custom "crown" that acts as both, and enforces obedience to him so that he can get you to marry him. Though with some loophole that you can exploit, of course, don't want it to be impossible to escape now, do we? Heheh.

 

Or, maybe during the key fragment part, each fragment comes with more bound items as the King tries to dissuade his daughter (and anyone else who stumbles upon it) from obtaining each part. And these items would be bound to a different mechanism than the first key making our lives an even longer Hell.

About the quest "Damsel in distress", once the player manage to break free of the hogtied position, is it possible for the player to remove the armbinders on its own or does the player need to escape the cage first? Because, I escaped the cage, went to a city and asked the blacksmith to help me. Yet that didn't helped, the iron shackles wouldn't come off and thus I couldn't remove the other bondage gears.

 

In situations like that, it is usually a good idea to provide a slight hint as to what to do: seek help or do it on my own.

Press tab to bring up the struggle mini game, and spam until you get a message about the straps loosing, then you can remove it.  I thought you were suppose to complete that before trying to search for the cage key...so how'd you get out with your hands in a binder? :-/

All the damsel in distress stuff works by finding random keys for everything. Check a bunch of containers until you get the keys ya need to remove things.

I just went in first person and the cage's door was activable, so I searched for the gate button while in armbinders and found it.

 

So it's a treasure quest of some kind, alright. Thanks for the pointers. By the way, if I have to search containers, won't that triggers other cursed loot event?

Not during certain DCL quests it wont.

Well, that's a relief. Thanks.

 

Earlier, I stumbled upon a "slave chastity belt" who requires several keys to unlock, fitted with cursed plugs. It was all fine until the player arousal was so high that any search in container or plant would have good chances to trigger a cursed loot event. Not only that, but after a while my game would just become unstable and crash randomly. That forced me to reload an earlier save and remove that belt through the "free me" debug. I'm not sure if the instability is related to the level of arousal or related to the belt, but since the removal my game recovered its stability. I still don't know what kind of key I needed to unlock that belt. I tried to add some through the console (some restrain keys, chastity keys), but the belt still told me it wouldn't open. I just peeked into the source script, and apparently that chastity belt requires body restraints keys. I'm probably wrong, but shouldn't a chastity belt requires chastity keys?

ok, so im having problems with vaginal plugs. when i remove one i equipped i don't get the text box pop-up, that doesn't seem to cause a lasting problem.

but when they are auto-equipped, say, by npcs, they still seem to function but are not equipped in the inventory menu. if i try to equip it it tells me i can't equip 2. 

 

so basically i have a permanent vag plug that doesn't register as an equipped item... what do i do with that?

Try DCLs Free Me setting in the MCM menu.

By this "invisible" items that are left-overs from previous items should be removed.

 

The only other ways are more complicated.

As i don't know if the RemoveAllitems command works in the console, this could need a mod.

Alternativly you can use Showinventory navigate thru your toons inventory (shift) using the console extension to find obsolete items. Using the Remove command you could then get rid of found obsolete items (DD items consist of 2 items; the inventory item and and an item that's not shown in the inventory).

Im playing a sub character using leah while playing i do not get the dialogue for putting on the armbinder so i can sleep or the eat option if im hungry. any help fixing this would be great

tried the free me thing first, failed.

then googled console command options, found the invo thing but couldn't identify anything that shouldn't be there.

then started a new game, it followed me.

then i ignored it for ages, sometimes my errors go away on their own if i do that.

then i got belted by that bell end telvanni wizard. he used a soulgem plug and now i can't stop vibrating.  :sleepy:

 

would it kill my save file if i just deactivate DD-everything and then try loading it? 

im gona try that, lets see the magic dildo get me when it no longer exists! :P

 

edit] ok i was convinced id be starting a new game, but that seems to have worked. the pop-up boxes are behaving when i play with it, just need to see what happens next time i get belted... and hope all the mods that depend on DD don't start throwing errors at me.

Once it's loaded, wait 24h, execute PCB and save.

Run the save game cleaner again and from there you should be able to enable DD again and play with those mods again.

As long as it works and solved your problem, there's nothing wrong with it.

But as far as i understood your problem, your solution might only be temporary and at one time or another you might have to do a clean-up.

Open the ESP in TES5Edit and expand the "Dialog Topic" branch. The lines you are looking for should be somewhere there. You can look through the EditorIDs to find the exact ones.

To change the line simply change the "FULL - Name" entry on the right panel.

well, u called it. temporary. but i think i found the source of my problem. the auto-equip thing, like when ur horny enough to trigger a full set, it tries to apply several items in the same place.

 

for example, just now; i got steel shackles, a WT ebonite armbinder and 2 WT armbinders equipped and i could still open my inventory. after removal it doesn't act like ones still equipped though, they just appear to fail to lock menu access.

well, u called it. temporary. but i think i found the source of my problem. the auto-equip thing, like when ur horny enough to trigger a full set, it tries to apply several items in the same place.

 

 

for example, just now; i got steel shackles, a WT ebonite armbinder and 2 WT armbinders equipped and i could still open my inventory. after removal it doesn't act like ones still equipped though, they just appear to fail to lock menu access.

Auto-Equip? Do you mean Auto Unequip Arrows? i use this and it causes no trouble because why should it.

if you have a general equip mod, then this will very likely cause problems, especially with heavily scripted items like DD stuff.

Not to mention that every DD item equips an item that's not shown in the inventory, together with the inventory item via script.

 

But whatever is causing it, it prevented the item scripts from triggering. Either by equipping items in a way that prevents the OnEquip event from triggering, by equipping only the inventory item from a DD item or by simple destroying the scripts (usually caused by script lags).

 

My suggestion: Get rid of this mod and do a clean-up to remove obsolete invisible inventory items.
