Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

I'm running DCL along CFTO and I would like to know is there a patch available somewhere (ideally for SSE but I can probably do my own conversion if it's only on LE) that either removes or moves the DCL carriage in Dawnstar? Both clip into one another and cause various issues with CFTO NPC wandering around and being sometimes difficult to find because he can't sit in his carriage. CFTO and it's predecessors have been a staple in my load order since forever.

So you need to get rid of that collar first and maybe also figure how did that happen. Did you perhaps try to remove item from you with console command because that's never a good idea. You need to remove both the ID's if you want item gone. That is why there are MCM debug options to remove items cleanly.

 

You can try to give or buy yourself another collar and try to equip and unequip that instead. If that doens't force the old one out, you might really need to use console to check what hidden item you have on and remove it.

Okay, I probably should've been a little more clear as to what was happening.  So when I first activate the old slave collar it will say that it locked a collar on me and gave me a note.  however, after looking through my inventory I do not see a collar, and when I activate the old slave collar a second time, it tells me that I already have a collar equipped.  I presume that after the collar locks on me I am supposed to have a dialogue with Melanie because she asks you to tell her what you think, but there is none.  I spawned in the cursed collar and put it on after activating the old slave collar, I then completed the cursed collar quest.  After I completed it, the Bound in Skyrim questline updates and says "Completed: The Cursed Collar" but I get no update to the Bound in Skyrim questline after that, I assume I am supposed to go and talk to Melanie after I complete that, so I tried, and nothing comes up.

Okay, after making this post, I just re-read the last update notes and it says that cursed collar is the last quest in the questline, so I guess I finished the questline (at least what is currently on that questline, anyway)

I just can't enter Whip and Chain inn no matter what fix this thread provide
I'll assume it's a lost cause and skip it entirely

Chloe quest finished well from Helgen with your settings? (Just ruling out that it's not HDT issue)

Then I assume that your Hardware is not suitable, or you have way way too much script mods that run in the background.

It's kind of odd that no one seems to have brought up Crash Fixes. It's not guaranteed to help but it's worth a try if everything else has failed. Follow the instructions in the Description carefully and be sure to download and install SKSE Plugin Preloader to the root Skyrim folder (where TESV.exe is located).

 

The only setting you really need to change in CrashFixPlugin.ini is "UseOSAllocators", it's need to be set to "1" as per the description.

 

I've been using Crash Fixes for a few years now and I believe it does help my old toaster of a PC run Skyrim well enough, although I don't overload my game either.

 

Another and not well known crash fix mod for Skyrim is NVAC. Yes it's for New Vegas but works fine for Skyrim and Fallout 3 and Oblivion. While it may not fix the same crash types it does for New Vegas it may still catch some in Skyrim that aren't covered in Crash Fixes or other mods.

Anyone knows if it's possible to get a list of all item codes available from this mod ? I just want to have fun with the Player.additem command.

Run xedit, enter in armor section and there are all armors.

In other sections are potions and etc.

I'm getting an error that says that im running mods removing tags from children and cursed loot has automatically been disabled. Not sure why as I started a new game and it was fine but today when i went to load that save i got that error. I also don't have any mods that do anything with children so im confused. I don't have any of the mods listed on the main page that are said to cause this error and I've never seen this error until i installed the new version.

 

 

 

Edit: Nvm I figured it out. Just in case anyone else has the same issue: I had enable essential kills on in the mod sneak tools

Well i just got the message again after loading the game up. So i really don't know what the deal is. Attched my load order in case anyone has any idea. As far as I know I have no mods that fuck with children. Don't have killable children either. It's odd that it works fine for a while and then abruptly decides its going to disable things. Is thiis a new feature? I had a previous save with cursed loot and a ton of hours and never once saw this message. Trying to figure out if maybe something messed up during the install.

I figured it out. I made a rookie mistake lol. When I got this pc I copied my whole Skyrim folder over so I wouldn't have to re install all my mods.  When I downloaded the new version of cursed loot it didn't uninstall the old one since the mod manager on the new pc would just treat it as loose files. So I probably had files from both versions conflicting. I went through and manually deleted all the stuff from the old version and then reinstalled 9.0 and it seems to be good now.

Nope, played for an hour or so then had a crash and when i loaded the save again there was that damn error.  This is actually really irritating since nothing in my load order has changed.

Upload your skse.ini to post and show FNIS log it does after generating. Install order may show something wrong but load order shouldn't be needed. Also to be sure you placed the skse.ini in right folder? What mod launcher were you using and it's still Skyrim LE, not SE?

 

Also your PC details.

I doubt it's an issue with skse since I have plenty of other mods that use it and as I said before I have played with cursed loot for years. This problem only happened when I updated, but here's both of those. I have a 2070 super with an I9 and 30 gb of ram so it's not my pc.

OK so I have tested multiple times by quitting and reloading the game/reloading the save and i seem to have fixed it by making a clean save and then reinstalling it and disabling the LAL addon. Hopefully I didn't just jinx the hell out of myself by saying that.

..............Decided to play a bit for work. Got the fucking error again after playing like 4 hours on this save last night with no error..........................................

Count your animations, it almost exceed 12k FNIS limit. The problem is that limit is variable depending on system, you may have exceed the limit of your PC. Maybe remove some animation mod will help, try keeping it below 10k animation

Try increasing your defaultHeapInitialAllocMB in skse.ini to 1024 yet?

No I haven't but I'll try anything at this point lol. Well short of reinstalling skyrim anyway, never doing that again. But I'm so used to using this mod that I'd like to continue to do so. It's at 768 right now so ill try putting it at 1024 and see how that goes

I've been playing with that many animations on this pc for hundreds of hours so that can't be it. This only started happening when i updated to the new version. I am wondering if reverting back to the old version would fix it.

In the Bodyslide. i noticed an armor/clothing thing called Spikeball.

 

but I cannot find it in the ESP using Additemmenu. I wanted to see what it looked like.

It's not included into DCL, you need made your own armor using those nifs in xedit or CK.

Second chance is replace existing armor nifs with those.
