I really wish that you can just activate the slaves and immediately go into a zaz sex animation. It's really annoying having to use a dialogue. Also, whenever the enforcer causes a sex animation to occur with one of the slaves, the pillar reforms to where the sex act ends instead of the slave going back to her pillar.

I may be just be a bit thick, but is there any way of starting a new game with all the settings put in place on a prior game?

 

The reason for asking is that I've just set up a whole new profile in MOD Organizer, spent a whole day to get it running with 250 odd mods, started a new game with Alternate Start, then, set up each MCM menu for about 25 or so mods, all with the previous version of this mod in place, exited out uopn the wide open world, ready to start a new set of wanderings, came here to check something else and found this. As you can imagine, I really really don't want to go back and set up all those MCM menus again, just to be able to update things for this :(

 

I appreciate that this is pretty much a developing mod, but is there any way, please, to avoid future updates being dependent on a 'new game', and at least be able to cope with updating the versions that we have in current game plays? I can pretty much update everything else in my games, but this one is a potential killer :cool:

You're now standing in Whiterun in a new game. If things haven't changed since I patched 20140704, then any game is not going to work unless you're lucky with your load order and overall system load (so that Slaverun starts before whatever other quests blocks Jarl Balgruuf).

 

For me, this mod worked flawlessly on an existing save after my patching. It may or may not for you.

 

Not sure how much has changed but you used to be able to tell if the mod was working with "sqv SlaverunDialogueQuest01". At the end of the printout, there's a section with aliases. If all of those are none, then the mod isn't working.

 

If you develop a way to start a new game with all the mods set up and ready to go, you'll be the biggest hero Skyrim has ever seen.

 

I don't understand? You can select start new game, but then ofc you have to go through Helgen (long and boring). I posted instructions on how to avoid Helgen,... get directly to the race menu and start playing without Helgen.

 

The main quest is probably "special" after this, but who cares if you're just gonna try out the mod. I don't think it's recommended to stick this mod in a save you want to keep anyway, at this point. Maybe it's just me being conservative. :)

 

I just use skyrim unbound for that. The biggest hassle in starting a new game is going through each mod in the MCM one by one to set them all up. I'm saying, if you find a way to have that part happen automatically, everyone's lives would be much better.

Much appreciate your time and trouble in responding, but I am not experienced enough in the detail of how Skyrim works - or maybe that should be that I am both just too old, and too thick  :shy:  - to understand how what you suggest avoids what jfraser has also said, ie not having to go through all the MCM menus again, once the new game has started, and set them up anew

 

If what you have suggested does that - and all we are doing is merely lacking faith! - please just say so, and I'll certainly give it a whirl

 

No, it doesn't. I just didn't understand what the problem was from the beginning. I play everything in my game on default, more or less. If I can't play it on default, I add code to my own "settings mod" that fixes things I don't want to mess around with .... so this problem doesn't come up for me. :)

I'm having an issue barely any of the dialog options cause anything to happen. For example, when Brutus says 'get her boys' nothing happens. The same is true when Zaid says he wants to have a look at my character.

Tried it on an existing save! and it worked!

Went through the entire quest, but I think I answer the last question incorrectly so got stuck as slave...is that a dead end in that case?

 

Also is the 7 day 1000 gold thing actually enforced? That might be kind of intrusive to the gameplay. Traveling across the world easily takes a day or 2. Jumping between a few holds along with some actual exploring will fill up that timer pretty quickly.

 

Also noticed that during the first stage of animation the PC will stand up mid way, but will return to position after a few seconds. Nothing show stopping, but a little odd. Maybe related to the shackles force animation?

It's not a dead end. You just need another 5000 gold and the dialogue will be available again.

 

7 day return period is enforced - if you don't make on time, 20k bounty will be put on your head in every hold. I'd like to have this setting in MCM, but right now I'll have very busy summer, so don't expect another update very soon..

Speaking of getting gold, when I had the task to get 300 gold, there were no dialogue options to beg for money.  Do you need another prostitution type mod for this kind of "earning?"

This was my experience also with one difference. With a new character who was dressed, talking the the guards and picking "What" initiated an arrest. With an exisiting clean save, the guards did not care. That was the case also with a character created by using 'coc' from the first menu; no 'what.' Other stuff, enslavement seemed to work fine. However, I didn't play through it but just started things off with a couple of characters.

Yes, if you want to whore for the gold you need a prostitution mod. The only mod I know of that has begging is SD+, but it would take forever to get to 300 that way. Or you can chop wood for the inn or steal money.

Yes it does. I usually steal the goods from the vendor across from the slave pen - the guy whose stall is a requirement for the mod - because they aren't labelled as "steal" when you target them so you can sell them to belethor. :)

 

Edit: there is also the "be a blacksmith" mod (can't remember it's real name) on nexus. It's clunky and the homemade voice acting is really bad, but it does make money.

Played through the updated mod yesterday, it worked fine. Didn't have time to try playing the game after the "freedom" thing, so can't say anything about that.

 

One small "problem" I've encountered is the script that reapplies the bindings messing with sex animations unless stripping of appropriate slots is disabled in SexLab - before I did it, the sex scene would start, then after a few seconds my toon would stand up with hands tied behind her back and stay like that for a good couple seconds. But, like I said, disabling the stripping works perfectly fine, and who would want to see a slavegirl fucked without restraints anyway? :)

 

Overall, I really like this mod, and it made really good progress since the last update. I still hope to see the storyline expanded, more things to do in town and more punishment scenes, but I'm very optimistic about the future of this mod.

This is a nice mod.But it seems that the the nudity law does not work on followers .If the law can work on both the player and her followers,it can be more funny:)

Ah I see, too bad I didn't make a save at that point since it was mostly just a test run.

mmm yes come to think of it the guards, slavers, and other citizen did not have the "What" dialog option when clothed both before or after turning in items or becoming a slave. I was actually testing for it, I guess I just assume it was removed since Enforcer exist. But I did talk to the guard by the wolf pit and the auction stand and they seem to have their "lore" dialog.

That would explain the animation issue I had. Sort of noticed the debug message for equipping shackles play during animation, but didn't thought of changing the stripping option.

 

Oh another thing, not sure if it is a script load issue. Followers have a hard time following in Whiterun, they will occasionally get stuck in wide open areas or indoor and won't move until PC move away then come back. NPCs also occasionally get stuck just standing around; will usually sort itself out again by leaving and returning an area.

One time I think for troll training as soon as I enter the Dungeon Cell through the door from Whiterun I get teleport to inside the falmer cell, nothing broke, but not sure what happened.

does this mod work with Alternate start - Life another life, starting by owning breezehome?

Haven't tried it, but others seemed to do that with no hassle - just exit your home and head towards the city gates to trigger Brutus and the quest.

Worked fine for me, and actually loaded a bit better than just walking up to Whiterun from outside in my tests.

First off I wish to say the the modder...well done. I prefer the full version over the lite but I appreciate you have the class to take criticism and turn it into something productive. It seems most of the issue I have had with the mode are already being addressed. However, I made it to the part where I become the Jarl's sex slave and after trying to please him he sent me to the dungeon for proper training. Once there i talked the quest giver and he told me that I would need to "learn what it means to fail" or something like that, and then my player auto-walks out of the dungeon alone and all the way across town to the guards barracks, then down into the dungeon sewers where she is blocked by the locked gate (I could not interact with the lever, but it did let me pick the lock ((I stole a few things while whoring around town)). Once through the gate I head down the tunnel to about mid point and my character stops, turns around and then nothing. I have noticed a little bit of lagging with the scripts and so I was patient and waited, but nothing seems to happen. 

 

So, is this a dead end waiting to be fleshed out or has the game stalled?

 

For those of you trying to make the money for Zied, if you do not want to do it all by prostituting try chopping wood and selling it at the inn. Slaves should be hard workers for their master when not being used, right? Don't want to be crucified for being a worthless slave!

 

Other than that the mod is coming along great and would love to see more work done on it.

 

Ok I was able to figure out what was causing this. Sewers of Skyrim for some reason does affect this mod. When I removed Sewers of Skyrim I was able to complete the next stage of the quest. When I cam in later after reinstalling the mod and doing the quest with another character I ran into the same issue.

 

Someone mentioned that it sounded like the alias for the cross (where you go at stage ID:80 of the quest or around that point) had been changed. If this is the case is it fixable? Sewers of Skyrim is a bad ass mod and I would hate to have to not use it to play this one. Especially since its just that one stage of the quest that gets affected.

I can not get slaverun enforcer to disable in the mcm menu.  I crash more than half the time going in and out of buildings, and I have never made it into the bannered mare without locking up.

If your Crashing while going in and out of buildings , Try setting your texture settings a notch lower the crashes should stop .

I had my Texture settings on High and they crashed a lot , Changed the settings to medium and no more crashes.

 

This also may had to do with the hirez follower mods within the cell or inn .

there's a mod listed on prisonoverhaul in the conflicts section said to cause That issue with whipping scenes.

..and the modder also suggests beasiality addons for this - suggesting its part of the storyline here...

other whipping scenes from other mods dont have the problem.

 

 

and, its not in the tags or anything, not mentioned in the description, and the title doesnt lead one to believe it is involved.  it should be made more clear (at the very least add it to the tags).

remove enforcermod from the load order, replace it with the vanillanpc replacer addon from the downloads page, with enforcer disabled its only damaging the game to have it there when there's another mod provided that serves that purpose

...for that matter, the current version of enforcer shouldn't even be in the download except as optional addon until the cuffs are fixed, the vanillanpcenforcer should take its place until that's fixed
