Thanks for answering my question. I really appreciate a mod author who answers even the most stupid questions and provides support to people like me. Embarrassingly, I figured out most of the question I asked (updated my post through edits) by re-reading the Mod Description page. 

 

I have one further question however:

 

Is it normal for after the 5 days in the cage, to be sent back into Simple Slavery? The note that was given to me "to my ex-slave" tells me my items/gear would be in a bag nearby, however since I am in simple slavery, there is no bag or anything nearby, and I am walked off onto the stage and re-sold into Captured Dreams. Is this intended? How do I get my inventory back (or am I just blind, and missing this bag with my junk)? I suppose this would make sense if I had more mods involving Simple Slavery, but I only have two and I disabled the other one during this playthrough for RP reasons. Regardless, I'm a bit confused on how to get my inventory back.

I too, am glad peace has prevailed. Since I do not agree with most of what Kimy said*, I abstained from commenting in hopes for this very outcome.  :classic_happy:

i doubt Kimy would agree to that because we had our share of heated discussions on how she does things and what's missing.

She just didn't make a single word of it public.

it is a fragile peace.. let's not break it here ..  I still got hopes on a mighty all the Modders working on it mod that blows the socks off everyone...  let me keep that little fantasy alive,,  (mind you can you imagine how heated the development meeting would get haha..)  Love you all for the creativity and efforts you put in for barely any reward or thanks..  I am sure a little peace would be welcomed alround.. Hugs to all...

If it detects Simple Slavery you are sent there and signals it to get you. The items though may end up being gone for good though. Use  sqv CDxSlavery_prop_cage and see if the alias for the   Alias_ItemChest   as that is where it is set to send them but it does not look like it is set with simple slavery. The only way that you would likely get them back is load a save before being sent and disable Simple Slavery's esp then it will send you to one of 8 locations and your gear will be in a sack nearby.

CG! may not be a yes man but they both think very similarly, I even told him that at points when trying to explain things it was like I was talking to Kimy, we just could not connect and he gave many of the same answers she did. I am not a programmer or did anything extremely technical that used similar logic, I worked in finance as an auditor. I have known a number of people who worked in programming and other very technical fields and most all think similarly from my experience. The 'angle' the look at things are very different from how I look at them and is why I had difficulties communicating with Kimy and CG!. I think any programmers looking at my code would think it is a complete mess and unorganized (which it is) but that is how I generally think.

 

I know that CG! has wanted me to convert to v4 for some time now but never understood my reason for not doing so. Kimy and I did not communicate for a long time but more like spat words at each other with no chance of any sort of coming to an understanding though I am glad that we were finally able to see eye to eye and compromise on a solution.

 

 

I don't think it is a fragile peace we have here but is pretty stable, we all understand where the others are coming from now so a lot of tension is gone.

I see, that's a shame. It might be a good idea to improve this in a future update, if you have one planned. Perhaps add a MCM option for handling where your gear goes. Or even just adding it to Masters inventory, and task the player to return to Master and to ask for your stuff back. 

 

As I said earlier, I'm not using Simple Slavery at the moment (probably should of disabled it before my playthrough), but on certain playthroughs I make good use of it. I guess just better inventory management would be ideal.

As I said earlier, I'm not using Simple Slavery at the moment (probably should of disabled it before my playthrough), but on certain playthroughs I make good use of it. I guess just better inventory management would be ideal.

It was an oversight for the most part as no destination container was set when moving it but I was intending to have it out by the well near the forge. It isn't anything difficult to fix but of course that doesn't help you at this point. I may also see about adding a toggle to enable/disable the use of simple slavery with it as well.

There is a file in the download section that updates several scripts to remove armbinders and yokes for people using v4.

yes and thats my post. after being sent to the mine, the character stayed on the cross forever. no one came to release or talk to the character at all. i started player control in mcm but couldnt find a pickax to do the work, and no conversation with anyone in the mine.

i had indeed my problems understanding your point and did let you know that that's the case, sadly frustration and both sides set in before we finally understood where you're coming from. Regarding your code or code in general: There's always room for improvement but as long as it works, it doesn't matter much. We all do this as a hobby and people who demand a more prefessional approach didn't understand what modding means or the modding culture is all about.

 

i'm just glad we we finally got somewhere. Now it's mostly a matter of proper communication to avoid "dramas" of such a scale in the future.

I believe you did understand there at the end when you realized it was about my personal preferences on settings rather than any sort of technical problem. You said the old options menu was too complex and some people either didn't use it or understand it and that the new one was easier to understand and therefore better. You understood my issue perfectly (whether you knew it or not) but blew off my preferences with that last comment. It was and always has been about personal preferences concerning how people want to set the devices to operate and be able to adjust them accordingly. It never had anything to do with modders or quest items or custom items that were made to act a specific way, just how standard items worked in the game. I wanted control of my game experience because we all have different preferences for how we want to use and experience DD. While some people would think it is a minor thing for me it wasn't. From a technical perspective everything Kimy did worked and worked well from what I could tell but to me it was the equivalent to a great program with a horrible user interface (kind of like the CK with many things).

 

That is all in the past now and I believe that we all see eye to eye and is all a matter of perspective.

If no one was there then for whatever reason it never moved any of the other actors there so the scene could not begin.

v4.05 is an older version and was the last one with German language support so I keep it available for those that don't speak English. v4.15 is the most current one and has a patch for v4 of DD which should allow for removal of all items (in most cases) and is what you should be using. I didn't make much use of SKSE commands and any I did likely made it into SSE's version though I have not had anyone report whether or not it works with SSE.

thanks for reply. now it changed. the master showed up and talked a little. but the character was still fixed on the x cross.

Great to see some differences between creators get ironed out, that's a rare event in a forums environment.  It does make me excited for the possibilities of CD going forward - the CD shop to me would be the perfect playpen for DD enabled furniture when those get added to the framework.  

 

While I probably won't use it personally I think having key jam as a toggle is a good option.  This would mean someone could have an alternate option to consume keys by making them likely to break, but not have the jamming that comes with that setting and the resulting waiting and fixing.

i just thought of a weird thing that could happen using CD and a new mod i am using. if you ever do setup a feature that allows your followers to reserve the vip room and ask to have you as their slave, it could end up that you are your own slave for the session.

Btw, i got a question regarding CD Shop mod.
Instead of uninstalled it, I accidentally delete the mod from my Nexus Manager. 
When I tried download the mod back, i seems that you remove part 4 due to bad meshes and had to Use DD v4 bodyslide files instead.
I tried to google it and found Devious Devices Bodyslide CBBE CT77 Body TBBP on googles. 
The problem is I using UNP body. 

I also notice that, collar, cuff chastity belt were not present in the game as it should be. 
It's like you were wearing invisible cuff, collar, belt.

Upload a copy of the papyrus log from when you try to enter. Make sure there is at least a few minutes of game play (no loading and immediately entering) so I can see what all is going on. Also, make sure that logging for DD it turned ON.
