Did you remember to re-build all DD items in bodyslide after updating, some of them has been updated (depending on what body you use). Mainly the cbbe versions of the corsets, that fixes a crash issue.

@Veladarius I was thinking of a scenario that could be fun to implement, at some point, Master might choose to sell you at an auction, she would not tell you that's the expected outcome, and might  present it to you as special delivery quest. One of the trigger for it to happen could be, your debt to Master goes below a certain point (let's say less than 5000), at the auction therewill be a few possible outcomes depending on your status with Master, if the requirments for relationship slave are met, she might buy you back and make you officially her slave, she might also choose to buy you back and add that cost to your previous debt, if you were efficient enough with delivery retrieval quests (you are an asset she can't just let go, but not yet interesting enough to be a relationship slave), she might also buy you back and get you as a property slave, or last scenario you are just bought by a random new owner (I guess that one could be handled by simple slavery mod).

 

On second thought the Auction thing could also be an outcome of the deliveries quests (deliver or retrieve) when failed, the bandits instead of letting you go, will sell you at auction and Master will buy you back, because you still owe her a lot of gold, she will eventually get her money back as you are paying for it!

I don't expect you to implement any of this any time soon, but if you could give it a thought, iI'll appreciate it.

Things I can tell you now:

1 - between what you said and what I see in the log when you updated to v4 of DD you did not start a new game, v4 REQUIRES a new game be started due to the number of major changes to it. CD will generate some errors related to v4 due to missing properties and such but not enough to cause crashes.

 

2 - as LazyBoot said make sure y ou rebuilt your bodyslide files. Not only for the new DD devices but there was an issue with some of the the v3 ebonite corsets that would cause ctd.

 

3 - there are a lot of other property errors either ranging from missing properties to incorrect properties to missing scripts (and not just on DD or CD, several other mods are showing them as well) which generally indicates a scripted mod has been removed or updated and that mod has enough changes to warrant a new game if updated. One of the other things that points to mods being removed / updated is that there are things that are no longer there that were in your save game.

 

I can see where the confiscation is starting its work but stops mid effect during a DD function, in this case likely due to the v4 update with no restart of game. Any items you had when the game was updated would not have had their scripts updated. CD devices call on the equip script directly but the standard DD devices (in v4 at least from what I can tell) do not and have a script between them and would be missing properties. While CD items would be missing the new properties as well most of these are bypassed by their custom scripts. As for why it would not work properly before I can't say but is likely related to the corset mesh as one of the slaves is always outfitted with one (sometimes leather which causes no issue and sometimes ebonite which does).

 

As for mods that monitor what you have on, I don't see any of them here but the mod Creature Framework if left on its default settings scans all of the actors (human and non human as creatures are considered actors) every 5 seconds and for me caused instability, I found that setting it to 30 seconds and dropping the range to 1 cell made it much more stable.

This is something I have been looking at with the bad end to Property Slave by handing you off to another mod that currently auctions off the player as a slave. Unless you are a slave she is not going to sell you to someone, that is not the type of person she is and even if she does sell you off it isn't something she likes doing. She is a dom that owns slaves and those that are there currently are there willingly, the rest either earned their freedom or were gotten rid of due to being unproductive and/or uncooperative. Generally the only slaves she will keep against their will for long term are those that she has been asked to break and train or those whom she has a personal reason for keeping.

got a question/suggestion. after completing party favors, any time you get sent back to the embassy it acts as if you were the one who made elenwyn mad by sneaking into the embassy and going where you shouldnt have, even if you havent completed the main quest diplomatic immunity. is there a way to see what parts of the main quest you have completed? if so the suggestion i have is, if you havent completed diplomatic immunity, you could be sent back to spend the day with elenwyn alone. if you have completed diplomatic immunity, or recieved the embassy punishment for going there the second time, you would get the current guards visit.

 

got another suggestion this one involving the assist a customer and sexual orientation. i know that you can set the orientation of the pc in the mcm, and i believe that the vip's sex is random. when the master offers the job to you, there could be a dialog, if not set in the mcm, asking what your character's orientation is. if the vip's sex differs to what you have set, either via dialog or directly in the mcm, she could ask you if this will be a problem. where you would have the chance to refuse the quest at this time, or accept it with a few different choices based on if you are a relationship slave or not a slave at all. example of accepting it as a relationship slave could be, "yes master, if it will please you." and an example when you are not a slave could be, "it would be an honor to do this for you master." with the non slave version it could add a bit to the players submissiveness.

 

i didnt include property slave in this, because you are just that property and have no say in who you will assist, and your orientation wouldnt matter to the master in this case.

It should already be checking if the Diplomatic Immunity quest has been done, generally it is just used for some dialogue (or at least had been). I would have to make a new scene setup for the visit if it would just be with Elenwen for the evening.

It would not be hard to do, I just need to get rid of the check in place for offering it or not and just add it as part of the dialogue. I would likely change the dialogue for when it is offered and vary the dialogue based on the player's sexual preference (not hard to do). I should be able to add that to v4.16 as it is a minor change but the first item would require more work and likely be added later.

Currently it abandons you in the wilderness somewhere, fully bound but your gear (whatever you may have had) will be in a satchel nearby. I am looking into linking it into some other slavery mods and possibly hand you off to them if you have any of them installed. Otherwise Master will not take you as a slave again (including relationship slave) though she may do the debt slavery (debt belt but with a higher amount) but that would be it. Other than that she will allow you to do tasks though your ranking with her will be horribly low so you will have to raise it quite a bit to get any of the quests that require a minimum ranking with Master to do that may still be available.

damn i just wanted to say that its been soon long without captured dreams shop because of dd4 :frown: one of the best mods on LL, hope to see an update soon :smile:

CDS does work with DD4 for the most part. it's just some items like the yoke (iirc) that are a bit problematic.

Another question that interested me. After returning from Elenwen, the Mistress is obsessed with the question: how to me this trip? The Mistress remains in her room, which is in the store, and as she approaches her, this question continues to be asked. Although the quest is finished and has a stage of 900.

The force greet likely has not detected the end of the dialogue, sometimes if you have a dialogue option still remaining on the screen when it finishes it believes it did not end correctly and replays it. The scene ID that starts it is xx029ab0    (xx is the load id and can be found by using  help cdx  and it will be the first 2 digits of the id's on whatever comes up).

 

If you can't go through the dialogue again until the end (and make sure there are no dialogue options for you on the screen at the end and it has actually cleared them) then you will have to shut it down manually.

 

Do the following:

To confirm that this is still running use the console command   IsScenePlaying  <ID>

If true then use    StopScene  <ID> and it should end the scene and the force greet and Master should return to normal.

 

If it is false then I need the EXACT text she is saying when she speaks to you.

I am still avoiding DDv4...1.) I consider it in a supportive role It does not change till The mods (I use) that need it (and occupy the primary role) are updated and require it (i.e.: Captured Dreams, a mod I require.).

                                     2.) I don't really care for the direction DD went. I may adapt depending entirely on what your update in the future will consist of.

I've used it with DD 4.0 as well. The only major bugs I've encountered is it forgets to remove your chastity harness after completing the embassy quest, and that if you struggle out of a generic device the master put on you sometimes she will still respond like you where wearing it when turning in a delivery receipt (thus putting you "back" into a clone of the device).

 

So yes, from my experiences this mod is very playable with DD 4.0 installed.

This is something I have said before concerning v4 - I will make CD so it can run if you are using v4 but I will not be making use of it in CD nor will I be using it personally. As it is I have already purged almost all DD mods from my game and it would be very unlikely that I would add any back in. To handle v4 I will have it identify which version you are using and adjust the keywords used to remove armbinders and and yokes and detect similar devices from v4 so they can be removed as well. Also, a patch esp will be needed to replace the custom armbinder I use as the scripts for them in v4 are different and it likely would not work properly. In future versions I will be mindful to detect the new items within the 'heavybondage' keyword group but if they add new device categories (have new primary keywords that govern their equipping/removal) they will not be supported.

Chastity harness may be a detection issue, I don't know if any of the DD keywords on them have changed in v4.

 

As for struggling out of a generic device either the dialogue still expects it to be there or the keywords are still showing as being on something equipped on the player.

 

Reequipping of a device is not something I do at the end of a quest, if it is off then it is off. Likely DD is detecting a broken device or something and either reequips it when she tries to remove it or trips the 'removeall' failsafe when she takes it from you. If it is an armbinder or yoke it may be due to CD equipping the device using the old device keyword and not the new one and does not register properly in v4 since it tracks and stores what items you currently have equipped.

Errors I see:

 

Initialization errors - happens during startup and may or may not have an effect on the game, depends on how important the item in the error is - will only list ones with multiple errors:

- various errors relating to the FNIS esp, generally missing file errors on scripts - points to it likely being removed

- various errors relating to the raceMenu esp, same errors and issues as FNIS above (quite a few of them)

- missing property errors on mod located at load position 2C, errors on a number of different properties. mod was possible updated but should have required a new game if properties are being removed or changed

- missing property errors on DAMOYL generally concerning the player in multiple scripts. mod was possible updated but should have required a new game if properties are being removed or changed

- missing property errors with Captured Dreams due to change in properties on DD scripts in v4, mostly animations so you likely won't see some animations concerning the items

- property errors on mod at load position 33, errors vary in type

 

Errors in game play-

Minimal errors, an occasional property error between the script changes in DD v4 and CD's custom belts, nothing major other than it won't play the horny idle animation.

 

No real errors overall but the last thing it was doing was updating actor devices on CD npc's which outside would only be belts and plugs.

So i've run into a bit of an issue with this mod. Relatively minor but its annoying. I figured I'd ask here. I did the Party Favors scenes and ended up having my character be used as temporary payment for those thalmor guys and all that. But I ran into an issue on the start of the second day in its scenes. As my character would not end up playing the animations for being put into bondage furniture. I could attempt to trick the scenes into progressing by playing the scenes of attempting to get through the belt. But that doesnt work forever.


I dont know what kind of information would be relevant for helping to diagnose how to fix this. But I dont have issues loading custom assets or playing animations that dont require furniture, and I'll put my load order in a spoiler below. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Are you using ZAP v7 or v8? I have just started doing some testing using v8 but have not gotten far with it yet so I don't know what (if any) differences are on the furniture or their animations. As a work around you can likely enable your controls and get into them yourself then disable them again and it should proceed. There are a few known issues, generally it involves Skyrim's pathfinding and it not getting to the furniture entry point, especially with the wood horse as it is somewhat tight there. Overall though this is something that has been around for several years and tweaked as much as I can and the only parts that have changed are the start and ending of it, what happens inside has changed little. All of the furniture is standard and unmodified.
